Heres a few questions:
WHO is going to be at the Gathering (I mean celebraties)
WHAT is going to happen at the gathering (Events, seminars, signings)
HOW many people will be there (Estimate)
WHY whould I go to your gathering? (Hey, it is asked on the submitions!)
There have been so few questions anwsered about the gathering this year. I am truly wondering if I should go. I would rather know whether or not it is worth it to go this year or not.

Also, about the Gargoyles on video CD-ROM: It will work on any computer with a standard 4x CD-ROM and a 486/66 or better. How many people are interested in this? I need to know wether it is worth it.

Also, how many people would want a documentary of the Gathering this year, video AND photo's. If I go, I would probally do that.

(Speaking the the videos, did you get the video, jackal?)

As for Goliath and elisa, of corurse they will get together, and they will probally have kids. I think Elisa would be willing to get a slight genetic alteration (Provided it does not change her appearance, and very little internal)

Greg is not a god. He may have wrote the origional Gargoyles, but TGS has branched beyond his ideas, so they are really shouldn't apply too much.

Bad Guys wouldn't ba a good series, and neither would New Olympians. I personally think that NO would bring down the quality of the series. I think that there should be a Fae History series. You know... find out the history of your favorite Fae, and fine some new ones.

And, finally, the gliches have been getting worse. I can't re-load the page without problems. I hope this board dosn't crash. :(

(here is about a weeks worth of coments. I just haven't had a chance to get on the comment room too much this week.)

Btw, I think Brent Spiner would portray a much better Owen than Jeff. Sure, Bennett has the voice, but with Spiner's whole StarTrek Data thing going on, he'd be the picture of stoicy, wot?

Okay, about the live-action movie. Can anyone really see Keith David as making a good Goliath? I mean, the voice is just great, but is the look there? I can see a definite Demona in Marina, and Frakes and Spiner totally cut it for their characters, but who could really look like Goliath?! Hmm...

(Doug strolls in, accompanied by the King and Queen of Dragonkind. They talk for a minute, then shake hands and the draconic royalty depart. Doug turns to Gaist and Bowen, hands them final paychecks, and sends them away.)
Yes, my dragon troubles are finally over!! All I had to do was agree to stop bothering dragons and not make any more with genetics, and they'd stop trying to kill me. Great trade! No more dragon troubles. This oughta make Tanika happy. Hoo Raa!!
On the movie, Sevarius Jr. is right. JC VD would never make a good gargoyle. I'm not sure if Emmerich and Devlin could do the Gargs movie right, though. Sure ID4 ruled, but Godzilla almost made me throw up. I've never seen a worse monster film. Oh well, Devlin's been thrown off the project anyway, so I guess this point is moot. I hope they make the movie soon. If they start production on it, I'll be heading to Hollywood to try out for a part in it: the Manhattan Jogger!! He's always been my favorite window dressing character, hope he's in the film. I'd do him well. In any case, they better get that film off the ground ASAP!!
That's all for now.
(Doug strolls back out, humming to himself about peace between all humans and dragons.)

Okay, I think it was Merlin who asked why people felt Elisa was a static character and it has taken me this long to figure out why I said that. Just more proof that I need to figure out my reasons before going with my gut reaction. *grin*

Anyway, Elisa is still the great character we either love or hate, depending. But the stuff that was happening to her that created conflict has been elimnated as the season developed. Some examples: obsession with Xanatos is resolved because he's an ally and trying to make-up for his past actions; she doesn't have to hide the gargoyles from her family and Matt resolving tension between those character and Elisa; sexual tension between her and Goliath has been discussed already.

An example of some really good conflict in character is Matt. He has to juggle his commitments to the Illuminate without destroying his friendship with the Gargoyles. (Which I think has made Duval even more interested in him, but that's another post altogether.)

Elisa still has a lot of personality traits that can be used to build conflict for her, but lets see her mess up a little. I'd like to see a little more cop action.

No no no, you gotta have big name stars for the movie. You can't have a cast of nobody's (and you gotta admit, most of the Gargoyle cast is, except for Frakes and Sirtis) and expect to have a hit. You gotta have big stars...But the idea of having that little French fag Van Damme play ANY part in the movie would drive me to a fit of homicidal rage. I'd pull a Chuck Zito and rip his friggin' head off.

And the Gargoyles have to be CGI. It they just get people in rubber suits its gonna screw it up. Now Dean Devlin and Roland Emmerich could do this pic right...

If they really are going to make a live-action movie of Gargoyles, why can't they just use the real voices (Jeff Bennett, Keith David, Marina Sirtis, etc.) as the live cast. I've noticed that the animated characters are all molded after their voice talents, and I personally think they look like the Gargoyles more than anyone else!

SEVARIUS JR. - No, actually, "Future Tense" the spinoff was nothing at all to do with the episode of that name. It was to be set in the year 2158 and involved the adventures of Goliath's grandson Samson and a few other characters, including Owen, Alex, a reformed Demona, TimeDancer Brooklyn, and Nokkar.

Well, why don't they make the movie already! We, the humble fans of the Gargoyles, may be keeping the fire going, but the last Gargoyles series was what, two or three years ago? They gotta get going people. If they don't make the movie, than hell, I will. All I need is a few hundred mill to do it right...What's Lucas' phone number? Get me Spielberg on the phone, NOW!

About Invasion America...I don't see what the big deal with that is. It's an okay show, but not really groundbreaking. Try Batman: The Animated Series. Best damn 'toon out there (well, other than THIS toon of course). I'm much more entertained with Buffy the Vampire Slayer than Invasion America (although, being a hormonal teenager, that's not too hard to figure out).

Well, Lisa got some weird treatment from a doctor whose name I can't remember, fulfilling my wildest dreams even if I told her she didn't have to. If this works out, I might be getting the same. So far it looks okay.
Christine- Too bad you missed the dicussion you mentioned. I'm sure you would have had great things to say on the topic. Oh well. You can find the countdown on the www-gargoyles-fans.org TGS main page.
Invasion America- Excellent show, Sergeant Romar is my favorite character after the hero David. Great premise and storyline, too. But when did we discuss it before now?
Janine- Don't worry, I'm sure the reason Clifford wanted to see someone by that name will be cleared up next season.
Reload Glitch- I haven't noticed anything like that. Maybe my browser is just lucky. Whatever it is, hope y'all soon get it cleared up.

The Gargoyles live-action movie is NOT just a rumor. Greg Weisman and Michael Reaves are officially co-producers. The following is an old post from Greg:

"Anyway, here's what's going on with the Live-Action Feature, in development at Touchstone Pictures, as of 4-10-97.

There are NO ACTORS attached. NONE. Not Jean-Claude. Not Jonathan Frakes or Marina Sirtis or anyone. No one. It's way too soon.

Tom Jacobson is the producer. Dean Devlin is the writer. They are the only two people currently attached to the project. The only ones. (Besides Michael and myself, in our minor roles as co-producers.)

The script is supposed to come in from Dean by the end of this month. GOLIATH is the lead character. Other gargoyles will appear but this is basically Goliath's movie. Saying anything else before the first draft is even completed is folly. If someone claims to know more, and he or she isn't Dean Devlin, then I'd take the info with a boulder of salt."

Since then, Dean Devlin has left the project, he wasn't working out. I don't remember who they got to replace him, but as far as I know a script is still in the works. Rumors about Jean-Claude Van Damme being cast as Goliath are untrue. There have been NO actors cast, NO director hired, NO special effects studio contracted. I do belive that the plot still features Goliath, but other than that there are no details. I have also heard that a proposed plot featured a single gargoyle awakened after 100 years of stone sleep, but I think that idea was dropped quite a while ago (or maybe it, too, was just a rumor). The movie was originally slated for a summer 1999 release, but that can't happen now -- if it is made, it'll take a bit longer than that to hit theaters. As of right now, there has been no new word for a long time. Greg's phone calls about the movie to Touchstone haven't been returned.

As far as I know, my information is accurate, and I truly hope I'm not spreading false information around. I hope that clears things up for everybody.

Alas, Angel of the Night, a live-action Gargoyles movie is just a rumour. I thought that at one time, it was a consideration, but we may never see it made. Personally, I'd love to see it, with the Gargoyles done with cool Computer Graphics, by Industrial Light and Magic. Plus, Jonathan Frakes would be great as Xanatos and Brent Spiner could play a perfect Owen.

Personally, I'd like to see a Future Tense series. I think that of all the stories on the world tour, it was the most interesting (and well, I admit, confusing) and has a lot of promise. I mean, picture it: the world in chaos, the surviving Gargoyles and friends trying to save what's left from the maniacal clutches of one of their own...I just can't get into the whole New Olympian thing. I love Michael Dorn, but Taurus just doesn't do it...

Just a reminder, this is a comment room. We have discussed Elisa and Goliath's lovelife, the New Olympians, what's coming next season, all our fav ST
episodes, Invasion America, ect. We will probably
drift to many diverse topics, get off topic, come back and have a better understanding of each others
likes and dislikes.
By the way did anyone notice when Fox went to get the
information that helped rescue Xanatoes, the leader of Phoenix Rising called her by name, Janine? She was using a spell at the time to make herself appear
inconspicuous, but it seemed to me to be someone who
really knew her. That might also explain the going
after her husband bit.

And once, when it re-loaded, it displayed part of Station 8's comment room.
I hope this server dosn't crash!

Oh, BTW... the New Olympians were never THAT interesting enough to dedicate a whole week talking about them!

As for the Gargoyles parantage: It really doesn't matter, does it? If we were going to see Goliath's parents, then we would have to see EVERYONE's parents. I could understand if Brooklyn (TD) got goliaths parents together, but that would be corny. It does nothing to the story line, and it is of only mild interest.

Bi the BTW... (A little joke)

Airwalker- Great ideas on the TGS second season!
Which spinoff they should do next- Bad Guys, I think. Maybe it's just 'cause I'd like to see more of Dingo, Fang, and Yama, but I like the series idea. Maybe we could also find out more about that group that uses the seven-pointed star symbol through this series. New Olympians would also be excellent. I too look forward to Margo meeting Taurus. And Proteus, and all the others. And Proteus would not be the only villian, either. That Helios guy in the last "New Olympians" ep seemed like good villian material. And then there could be a terrorist group or two that sees New Olympus as the perfect secret base.
Arthur's Love Interests: My vote goes for Jennifer. I liked her better as a character, there's no obvious competition for Arthur to get her (Elaine's married), she's a fighter and smart girl as well as a lover, she's more in touch with the modern world and Arthur needs someone like that, etc. Plus "Queen Jennifer" has a much nicer ring to it.
That's all for now.

Cassandra and Jackal> Is the connection between the cast in ST:TNG and Gargoyles cool, or what? Pretty much the only reason I continued to watch Gargoyles after the first show (btw, the first one I ever saw was "Temptations") was because of Frakes and Sirtis. Also, Cass, Brent is my hero. I just absolutely *love* the guy. Did you know that, as a result of him starting his career out on Broadway (not the gargoyle *smirks*), he was later nicknamed "Ol' Yellow Eyes"? *grins*

Hey, everyone, is the rumor of a Gargoyles live-action movie just a rumor, or is that really gonna happen? I heard stuff about it a while back, and then the information just sort of deteriorated. What's up wi' that? What does Master Greg say about this issue?

What do I think will happen in the second season of TGS?

Gargoyles - Ragnarok will be an on-going event during the season. Lexington and his adjustment to life after having his trust betrayed for a second time. Fox and the development of her magical skills, that might play a role in the war. Clifford and his "crusade" against the Gargoyles will probably reappear. Angela will explore if she is becoming more like her mother (although the reaction she had in Reprisals 3 could be due to the temper she inherited from her father. Wonder if she'll ever think of that), and her relationship with Broadway will develop. I can imagine them getting engaged, with a wedding in the second season finale. George Harrison and Richard will probably reach a final showdown. Demona and her Valkyrie robots could become a major force in the war, fighting against the advanced technology of the Unseelie. Further developments among the Mutates. And since Coyote gave Beth the postion as Guardian of Tradition, I somehow get a feeling she will play a role in the war, perhaps chronicling it.

Pendragon - More involvment with the Scottish clan. Fighting in Ragnarok, maybe forming a human army to fight the Unseelie if the war spreads into the normal world. Rory will reappear and perhaps join the new round table. Somehow, I also believe that Macbeth will appear in this series more than in Gargoyles.

Dark Ages - I am sure Asrial will be killed by one of her experiments but it is possible that something will happen to Demona's love that will bring her and Goliath together. Asrial will hide her feelings of lost love over Goliath by burying herself in her inventions. I am also sure that in this season Goliath will become the second. (I don't think we have seen the last of Brother Edmund. Even if he doesn't return, I'm sure that he will become involved with the London Clan somehow. If he did, then perhaps his journal is still there and will somehow appear in Pendragon).

Timedancer - Brooklyn and Sata will spend alot of time trying to get rid of Kali. I just have a feeling that they will run into Macbeth. Also there is that shard of crystal that Brooklyn got in Egypt that will play a role in this season. Perhaps we will see Meyrt, and Sata's reaction to her. Toward the end of this season, I believe that the timedancing couple will get stranded in 2158, where Sata will give birth to the egg that will become the twins. I think that Future Tense (the master plan proposed spin-off) will be incorporated into this series.

There you have it, my thought that might happen in the second season of TGS.

I think that what irked Fox far more about her mother's actions in "The Gathering" was that Titania tried to kidnap Alex and got her hubby to steal him, endangering her husband, her father, and herself in the process (not to mention the gargoyles and the whole city).

According to Greg, Xanatos's appearance was designed before Jonathan Frakes was cast in the role - it was just an odd coincidence. (Elisa's appearance, on the other hand, really was modelled after Salli Richardson).

Taurus for the first, second, third et-al time. She
is so wonderful at the put down and in general screaming. She must really believe that the Gargoyles have it in for her. After all, they follow her everywhere, don't they?

I think Bad Guyes could be woven into the main Gargoyles story line with an occassional drop in on
Pendragon.

Servarius Jr. brought up the Gargoyles casting call. I think Brent Spiner should play Puck/Owen. He already did the voice for Puck, and in the second half of "The Gathering" (Second season televisied episodes) we see Puck tranform into Owen. Both halfs share some facial features. Bad Guys> I've said before that this is the one thing that could motivate me to join the TGS staff. Ever since I read about it in the Master Plan and Ask Greg, and interrogated IRC Goliath about the leica reel I missed because I wasn't at the Gathering last year, I've been bubbling with ideas for it, although developments in TGS kinda nix a lot of the ideas I've had (about how the group gets together, for instance). If I wasn't so caught up in writing my current fanfic series I'd probably start writing my own series based on Bad Guys, directly drawn from Ask Greg. (Heck, I'm already working in a time dancing Brooklyn based directly on Ask Greg rather than on TGS' version of TD, an idea I'd discarded when I found out TGS was doing it but resurrected after I'd read the first few eps of TD and post-OoJ TGS gargs.)

Am I wrong, or isn't it that Fox can only use her powers as a defense mechanism? I mean, in the Gathering 2, the only time she used them was when she was trying to protect Alexander. And I even think Oberon or Titania said that she could never be that powerful cause she's too old to learn how to use them properly.

And I got a question. If Broadway is Hudson's son, who's the parents of Brooklyn and Lexington?

*Merlin swings in hanging by her knees from a trapeeze, sprinkling leaflets behind her. At the end of the arc, she has a sudden encounter with a wall. *THUD* She slides down the wall and forms a puddle on the floor.*

The leaflet says: "Mandi: That wasn't me. That was me quoting "Bad Guys." That was also me annoyed after seeing the leica reel at G'97, because ever since then Robyn and Dingo have taken up permanent residence in my head. Personally, I can't wait until/if TGS starts making "BG," if just to evict these Creativity Demons. It won't be next season, obviously, but I hope it's soon. Now there's a thought: if you the TGS fans had your say, what would you choose for the next series released, *if* a new series gets made: Bad Guys, New Olympians, or Future Tense?"

*The puddle reforms into Merlin, who talks to the people in her head as she limps out: "No, we can't go for ice cream. You two stop fighting. *You* two stop ... doing that. No, I already told you, no ice cream ... "*

X-7: Considering that Fox views Titania's pretense as Anastasia for all those years without telling her as a betrayal, it's doubtful that she's willing to embrace that part of her heritage. It took her a while in TGS to warm up to the prospect of sharpening her abilities at all.

*A rip in the fabric of space, time, and continuity suddenly opens from the ceiling and dumps Mandi into the room before closing neatly back up again. Mandi resolves that this is the last time she's taking coach.*

On the fate of Robyn: I brought the prospect of her running into Dingo up because Merlin Missy came up with the premise in an e-mail a long time ago. (points the big glowing credit arrow at Merlin for that idea) I suppose it depends on what she plans to accomplish by disappearing; will she continue the Hunter's crusade, or will she just play it safe and get the he** out of Dodge? If she decides on the former, there's another threat the Manhattan clan may have to deal with besides the Unseelie Court. If she goes for the latter option, she might just end up in Australia....oh, forget it. I'm really pushing the envelope here.

Question about which pics work and which don't: I notice that the page with all working pictures hasn't been updated as quickly as the pics have appeared. I'm assuming that follows with the difficulty of pulling updates to two different servers. Would it be easier just to update it as a running list of working pics? They don't necessarily have to be linked, just there for scatterbrained people like moi who can't remember if that pic is working or not. :)

As for who Griff and Arthur will pick up next season: Taurus is plausible if they ever managed to run into him. Nokkar--I don't know. They might run into him, but even so, he might not be willing to leave his post. I can't see Nokkar or the Golem joining their little band, either. Dingo would probably agree to come along, but like Taurus, he's not as readily accessible.

Arthur's love interest--Let's open the polls! Who's the best fleeting love interest we've seen in Pendragon for Arthur? And why? I think Elaine was fairly intriguing, especially with the subplot about her husband that was never heavily explored. What sort of "organized crime" would Hector have been involved with--perhaps he could turn out to be involved with the Illuminati.

That's all...

*Mandi pulls a paintbrush out of her bag, and paints a doorway. She opens it and steps back into the real world. Wile E. Coyote comes out of nowhere and tries to follow, smashing into the wall instead.*

He waves his hand and they set it before the TGS lawyer. Doug inquires if that's enough to pay for damages caused by Jim's car, the lawyer says yes, and starts going through it, humming "I'm in the money..." Doug waves at the paramedics and they get Jim off to the ambulance after Tricia wakes him with a slap to the face and he curses at seeing what he's done. A tow truck pulls up to remove the crashed car.)
Just had to come in and fix the damage Jim did. This is the last time I pay for his bad driving!!
Felicia- I think you have Bull (the Ultra-Pack's pit bull) mixed up with Taurus (the New Olympian minotaur cop). Remember, one is bad, the other good. Taurus is the good guy, and yes, he'd make a great knight. But Bull? No way, that dog is too vicious and dumb. Also, you might want to know that Broadway is Hudson's son (confirmed by Garg Wiseman himself). I guess that makes Deborah his mother. I don't really know who the other two young gargs' members are. In Dark Ages, all hatchlings belonged to the whole clan, though, so I guess it doesn't matter that much.
That's all for now. See y'all.
(Doug walks out through the hole in the wall, accompanied by his entourage. The tow truck pulls Jim's car away, and the paramedics load an arguing Jim and Tricia into the ambulance, which pulls away. Doug shakes his head slowly, then gets in his copter and follows behind.)

In answer Ragnarok is the working title for TGS season two. It means Twilight of the Gods. Norse
mythology. Like the term Avalon tour means stick Elisa, Goliath, Bronx and add Angela and see where we
can send them next.

Forgive me, but who is Bull? The reference escapes.

I hope in the next season of TGS we get to see Fox use her powers more. I'm tired of seeing her reduced to arm candy for David. Maybe a Fox/Merlin team up? It's obvious that Queen Tatania is protective of Merlin . I like to know what she whisper in her ear at the end of "The Gathering" I shocked Fox , I've guessed everything from the key to immortallity, the ability to return Puck/Owen back , but maybe it has something to do with Alexander being the key to the rising. She Also seems to have her own plans when it comes to "The Rising" I really would like to see her kick the collective butts of the weird sisters. They seem jealous of her and alittle to eager to keep Oberon happy. I've tired with no success to disover the parents of Brooklyn, Lex, and Broadway from any clues in Dark ages. They are to old to come from Goliath's brothers and sisters but they seem to young to come from Hudson's generation, any idea? Finally I must say farewell to Arisial I Know she's going to die next season. She has to. Although her character was interesting "History is immune and can not be changed.....more's the pity" Demona and Goliath are destined to be together and that mean she must bite the dust. After "The Rising" I would like to see Griff and Author meet the New Olympians, Bull would make and execellent Knight and Proteous an wounderful villian, maybe pick up Dingo along the way. Well t.t.f.n. (ta-tat for now).

What exactly is Ragnarok? I know I sound like an idiot, and trust me, it happens all the time, but is that the name of the season or a new show or what? Help me on this one!

Um...I don't know if it means squat but for a TGS Timedancer idea:
Two years before Pearl Harbor was bombed in Owensville, Indiana, a cryptic message reading REMEMBER PEARL HARBOR! was found painted in huge letters on the sidewalk in front of the local grade school. It was never found who or why it had been put there at that time....perhaps Sata and Brooklyn and their Timedancing again?

In reference to Robyn Canmore I thought she turned up
missing in the last three part episode. At least that's what Elisa tells Jason.
Dingo/Matrix > I'm interested in learning more about

Yama > Is he redeeming his honor or why would he be on the Redemption Squad?
Timedance> Let's see How did those twins come about?
Hehehehehe! and how much of the current crisis does
Brooklyn and Sata really know about?
Pendragon > Major crossover with Gargoyles on the Seelie Wars.
Gargoyles> Seelie wars, more about Sharon and her
problems and the mutates, more about Phoenix Rising
(of course), and few more muggings in the park.
Dark Ages > Sever antigargoyles feelings with a possible marrage for Prince Malcom in the wings.

See I didn't mention Elisa and Goliath once.

The great evil that is SUMMER COLLEGE CLASSES has prevented me from getting to far in the reading of TGS, but here are my predictions as to how the 2nd season will be.

Gargoyles: People get their asses kicked.
Timedancer: Buncha time travel and people get their asses kicked.
Pendragon: Yep, more of peopld gettin their asses kicked.
and Dark Ages: Tough one, but the magic 8 ball says...ass kickin all around.

And of course, the good guys win. Hey! When do us bad guys get a chance?! C'mon! We like to win one every now and again! Villains are people too.

(Doug's friend Jim's car crashes through the room wall, alarms going off everywhere as it comes to a stop. Sensing a huge lawsuit, the TGS lawyer dashes up and begins a long one-sided argument with a now-unconscious Jim, who was driving. Doug gets out of the passenger seat, free of injuries thanks to seatbelt and airbag, and shakes his head.)
God, is he going to get what's coming to him this time!! I keep telling Jim and telling him, don't drive after you've had so much caffeine!! Oh wait, you guys probably aren't interested in that.
Here's how I think the second season might go:
Gargoyles: They deal with the Rising, more bad Unseelie are introduced. Many fay battles, many fay get killed. Thailog returns, so does Clifford, they do more bad stuff. Umbriel gets more mixed feelings, maybe even defects. The Illuminati stand by the whole time, trying to twist Ragnarok so it suits their ends. The good guys do all the things good guys do.
TimeDancer: Our questions, raised by the first season, answered. We get to see what the deal was with Meryt, the Sorcerer, the scroll, etc. We also have the whole Guinevere-Sata-Brooklyn business handled, and get to see an ep where Cord is sheriff in that Western town Brooklyn visited. They also deal with Kali, the bad entity trapped in the Phoenix Gate.
Dark Ages- Asrial or Diomedes bites the bullet, Goliath and Demona fall in love, more Iago and Archmage plotting, maybe the Archbishop will send a group of Templars to Wyvern to take out the gargs or try to stir up opinion against them like he did in "News from the South" and fail this time, possible season finale the events we saw in "Vows."
Pendragon- Arthur and the gang recruit Rory, Max, the Golem, Nokkar, Jennifer (from "The Watching Eye," she's a much better love interest for him than Elaine, I thought!), and a few others as knights. They team up with all the other good guys to handle the Rising and Ragnarok. In the process, maybe they hook up with Dakota Jones (if Christine Morgan will import her into TGS, of course) to find the Holy Grail. I know at least one female Arthurian knight would be a good idea. Merlin will also get more of his powers back as time goes on. I also would like to see the return and slaying of a certain pair of dragons!!
On the story behind Colin Marter, I found that out myself through I forget what. The two WW2 pilots Goliath and Griff aided in "MIA" were Colin Marter and Douglas Bader. Bader was the one with the mustache who got shot down, and Marter was the other one who gave Griff the thumbs-up and said "They're real, and they're on our side!!" (I love that line)
That's all for now.
(Doug waves goodbye and walks outside, leaving Jim to handle the car crash. Seconds later, a blue Kawasaki motorbike ridden by a beautiful brunette girl pulls up near the building. Doug gets on behind her and they glide away.)

*A bright greenish light appears in the center of the room. Soon it expands into a full-length mirror, the glass glowing green. Cassandra steps through and clasps her wings around her shoulders.*

What would we like to see happen next season? I'd like to see the Illuminate take a role in Ragnarok twisting the battles to suit their needs. Truth be told, the only side the Illuminate would be on would be their own.

Time Dancer's second season should answer some questions raised about the first, some of which people have raised here. The perfect place to start would be with the characters introduced in "For Old Times Sake": The Sorcerer, Isfet, Myert.

Why would Dingo team-up with Robyn? I like both characters, but it seems unlikely. The last we saw of Robyn she was a catatonic mess. And she is the last of the Hunters; if she took up the mantle to hunt Demona again, would he go along? I don't think so, Dingo and the clan made peace and he's never met Demona so why should he hunt her?

Dark Ages: I'm having trouble remembering my dates, but shouldn't Prince Malcom be getting married soon? I remember a few comments about his martial status in a few episodes.

Pendragon: They found Merlin, now what? Obviously, they're going to help with Ragnarok. I'd like to see Eliane come back, the character that Aurther was becoming romantically interested in in "The Ill-Made Knight" episodes. How about a female knight? It is the 90's for a little while longer.

DELILAH-- She may be a hybrid but she still has lots of Gargoyle traits in her. She turns to stone like the rest of the clones do.

WHITE PAGES-- Actually, thats the pages with listings for business and residential numbers. The Yellow pages are for businesses only.

Truth to tell, of the different MasterPlan spin-off notions, "Bad Guys" generally interested me the least, maybe because it was the one most geared to conventional high-tech action-adventure. I was always more interested in the fantasy elements of "Gargoyles", and it didn't look as if that many of them would have made it into "Bad Guys". (Ironically enough, "Bad Guys" was also the spin-off, according to Greg, that came closest to being made).

Something has been bugging me for awhile. Now that the gargoyles are back with Xanatos, why don't they get armour and equipment? If they are going to have to handle George Harrison, the Ultra-Pack, Pheonix Rising and everything else, shouldn't they get some additional protection? They can't keep dodging the bullet forever. Follow the example of Brooklyn or Thailog and put some armour on. (I personally can see goliath wearing a shimmering silvery-white plate mail)

Todd> Well...

Gargoyles> After a huge magical battle in which many of the immortals are killed, there will be a breif period of calm in which Goliath and Elisa end their relationship for awhile. Thailog will make his re-appearance, and George Harrison will emerge as the Hunter's heir. (Though without that always cool mask).

Pendragon> The characters of this series will get pulled into Rangarok as well, then also after a breif period of calm decide to go find the Holy Grail. Other than that I have no idea.

Darkages> Either Domacles or Astrial will take a dirt nap.

TimeDancer> Since I have inside information it wouldn't be fair to reveal what I think is going to happen.

Cassandra: I have to agree about Elisa. We did get to see some angst in "Perchance to Dream," but the dreams in question didn't come from her own psyche, really.

So y'all want to get oféf the Goliath/Elisa debate? Fine. I'll just go back to whining about Dingo and the Matrix. <evil grin>

I read Greg's Master Plan finally, and while I like the idea of bringing back Dingo, I don't think I would have been all that interested in "Bad Guys." It would have been fun to see Robyn Canmore teaming up with Dingo and Matrix, but to me, Fang was always the most one-dimensional member of the Pack. And since we didn't see Yama any time after "Bushido" (I think), to me he remains in the category of one-shot Avalon Tour baddies. Besides, I don't think Dingo would be all that thrilled to be working with Fang, considering his discomfort with the genetic and cybernetic enhancements his comrades got in "Upgrade." Robyn and Dingo is an interesting combo, however....

There! Someone respond to this, tell me what a dope I am so we can change the subject adequately! :)

Well, I read over the comment room, and the current Goliath and Elisa discussion got started when somebody asked the TGStaff to let them have kids. Personally, I agree with many of the other posters that the topic's quickly gotten old, and I wouldn't mind seeing something else.

How about this for a topic: Based on what you've seen of TGS's first season, what would you expect to see in the second season for each cycle? By that, I don't mean "What do you want to see", but "What do you think would most likely happen in Season Two?"

I always thought it would be cool if Elisa makes a video for The Real World or Road Rules and she gets picked !
I'm thinking of making a story. Or what if Angela does by ending in a picture of herself has a human in "Equality" and she gets picked and she asked Puck to ask ask Alex to turn her into a human !

(Doug skates in on rollerblades, loses control of the skates, crashes into the fountain, and pulls himself out soaking wet.)
Whoops!! Still getting used to these, I guess. Here's what I have to say:
"Goliath and Elisa can't raise a child. Just think- a gargoyle and human raising a kid in New York. It would be terrible for the kid."
- That's subject to interpretation. I think they'd do a great job raising a kid together. Being parents would solve the lack of character development problems for those two right off! And surely the kid could get used to it over time, and be okay with it. I mean, what kid doesn't argue with their parents half the time? What kid is ever fully used to to them? I know I wasn't, and still ain't. For Goliath and Elisa's kid, it would be the same, but that wouldn't make the kid's childhood terrible, just normal! Of course, some people (we all know who) might try to make it terrible, but I trust any kid with Goliath and Elisa as parents and the rest of the good guys as uncles and aunts could handle all that! Let's have a little faith, okay? Anyway, I never said Goliath and Elisa should have children, only that it might be interesting to see what they'd be like as parents, and what the kids might be like, too. I also said if they want to raise their own kids, it's their biz, not ours! Okay? So can we please drop the subject and get on to something else? This debate is getting so old!!
(Doug takes a bow and skates away, looking worse on rollerblades than anyone else who's ridden them before but smiling all the way, even as he crashes into the TGS lawyer and papers scatter everywhere. "Sorry!!" Doug calls out, and jets out of the room before he can be sued.)

Well, about interspecies relationships. I think it's fine for Goliath and Elisa to have sex. If they want to, they should. About raising a child though... That's a big problem. I don't think that they could raise a child properly in NY. A gargoyle and human trying to raise a child would be near to impossible. It would be terrible for the kid.

Well, before I go I'd like to say that reading today's comment room was pretty darn funny. I still wonder how in the world the subject came up, but it was still pretty amusing to me. Time to say bye.

I've read it, but wasn't much impressed by Angela's "rage". I'd love to see her go totally "Mommy", Just once! Someone make her really, really mad, Lord knows I'm not gonna do it.
About Goialth and Elisa- I'm not saying a cross bred child is disgusting, I'm saying it's not right, not yet, not in this time. My views are sorta complex on this..., Goliath and Elisa should not be together, but a gargoyle/human relationship is no problem with me....

Elisa/Goliath> No, I don't find it disgusting. I don't find the idea of children disgusting. My objections to interspecies relationships are based on issues of communication and sentience, a nonissue as far as Elisa and Goliath are concerned.

As for sexual compatibility issues, again, I don't think there's much of one; Goliath is physically powerful, but he's fully capable of restraining himself, and he's aware that Elisa isn't as tough as a gargoyle female. (Why am I reminded of Larry Niven's "Man of Steel, Woman of Kleenex"?)

The children issue... I imagine that magical intervention would be the method, since Goliath and Elisa would not trust any genetic or medical intervention, given their prior history with it (the mutates, the clones, etc.). On a related topic, it's been implied onscreen that the only hybrids are those of genetically compatible species (in the episode where Worf's son was introduced, and it's revealed that the mother was half-human, half-Klingon, Troi comments that she hadn't realized the two species were compatible, and someone says something about that not being the issue; rather, the violence of Klingon mating was the reason humans rarely had children with them); explanations given in books are NOT canon in the Trek universe. (If they were, continuity would be even more of a mess than it is normally.)

As for Demona and Macbeth - I feel certain that they never did you-know-what. Let's face it: can you seriously imagine Demona doing that sort of thing with a human? No matter how desperate she was for her plan to work? Just going through the marriage ceremony must have been something of a strain for her.

As much as I love Elisa I have to agree with AotN, she's too perfect. The two problems she had to deal with--keeping the Gargoyles a secret and her obsession with Xanatos's dirty dealings--have been jerked away by making Xanatos a good guy and letting her friends and family know about the Gargoyles. Boy, that was a long sentence. She's becoming too static.

To close the Goliath-Elisa debate: They look great together and what they do is their business, not ours. Let's stop making it ours!! They wanna have kids, kiss, whatever, they can do it. They have that freedom. Of course, like someone said, the Rising must be dealt with first. And Jackal, you're right. Okay, I gotta take the blame for stirring up a lot of this, but can we get off (no pun intended) of Goliath/Elisa's sex life? It's not that I don't like the gargoyles, I wouldn't be here if I didn't. And I don't care about Goliath and Elisa together romantically,(although, like I said earlier, I think that the tension between them is much better than the romance itself, ie. Mulder and Scully in the XFiles). It's just that the idea of them together in THAT way (and you know what I mean) kind of freaked me out. But never mind, that's it. The subject is dead to me.

But while we're on the subject of gargoyle/human relationships...you guys think anything ever happened between Demona and Macbeth? I mean, they were pretty buddy-buddy there for a while...Naw, better off not knowin.

One thing I did notice on the Avalon Tour, was all the heros left in other lands. It's as if Avalon knew they would be needed. It also tied up loose ends for Goliath with his being able to forgive the
Captain, Angela finding out who her parents are and the conflicts that separated them, and Elisa having
to confront her true feelings for Goliath (even if it
took Hunter's Moon to bring them to a head).
Dingo may not necessarily be a wanted man. He could be on probation or any of a dozen different reasons
for him not to be wanted. Fox did say he was hired
in Walkabout. Part of his parole may be to have a
steady job. Who knows?
When is Disney kicking off the Disney Toon channel and does anyone know if it will be a premium channel?

Oops. Forgot to note a few things. Forgive my many typos in the last post.

About Elisa and Goliath getting married: I'd say Brooklyn or Hudson as best man. As for the inter-species debate, I'm only going to go so far as to say that if they want to have children, there's no way Elisa or Goliath would agree to gene-splicing a la Sevarius, whether or not he had anything to do with the process or not.

But I think their biggest problem with actually doing it the "natural" way (I'm hedging because I don't know how young the age range of comment room visitors gets--Gargoyles is a cartoon, albeit an extremely sophisticated one!) would be safety reasons. With their relative sizes, Goliath could easily hurt Elisa if it got out of hand, and he would probably remain chaste than risk that happening.

Adam: On the Dingo bit, you ever read my fics? I did I few with Dingo and the Matrix. <evil grin>

< / SHAMELESS PLUG >

Anyway, this opens up a topic not related to you-know-what ep! Yay! That's a good question, though, regarding TGS. Are we going to see Dingo and the Matrix again? Maybe instead of having Dingo show up in Gargoyles, what if Brooklyn and Sata ran into him in TimeDancer. As we've seen, they can go into the recent past; what if they landed in Australia a week or two after "Walkabout?" Considering that a) Dingo is still a wanted man in the States, b) the Matrix may or may not decide that law and order is its cup of tea, and c) is just starting out as a "real hero," he might need some help (whether or not he wants it, of course).

I think it would be more plausible for TimeDancer than the other three series: why Arthur, Griff, and Merlin would go to Australia is beyond me, Dingo wouldn't be likely to take a trip back to NYC if he's still wanted there(not without good reason), and naturally there's no way you could put Dingo in Dark Age

BTW, I'm only using Brianna now because I finally got around to reading "Into the Woods" last night while trying to catch up on that big chunk of eps in the middle of Pendragon I missed for some reason.

"I don't image this would be such an issue if Elisa fell in love with a "normal" sized gargoyle such as Brooklyn."
The issue I was talking about in my last post was gargoylian size. (No, not "that" size.) Family room, I agree, but if I offend someone please tell me. Sex is a natural thing, and I feel more people are curious about gargoyle sexuality than would like to admit. If gargoyles aren't gonna be treated the same as humans then they should be put on the Endangered Speices list..., So in saying that, let's just treat this like.. ummmm, National Geographic Explorer or somethin. People are curious, just like we watch the mating habits of lions, then so be it with gargoyles.
<<Xanatos... I can actually see him now, big grin on his face, one eyebrow arched up. "You did WHAT? Fascinating.">>
Sevarius Jr., I'm more than sure that some people would go ballistic over a human and gargoyle {expressing love for one another}, but some people also went and go ballistic over same sex relationships. Chosing to have intercourse with a gargoyle is a sexual preference and should be viewed as the right a particular human has, (if we're not gonna acknowledge gargoyles as an intelligent creature). Are we moving to fast by talking about this sort of thing? It did take 2 whole seasons for Goliath and Elisa to kiss... or for Elisa to kiss Goilath, but if they choose to follow thur this relationship, it's gonna come up. I'm just sayin the sex.., I don't have a problem with, I would love to have a chance like that! I kinda wish my girlfriend had wings, heh, heh, wait. Hey there! Just a few things:
Mandi Ohlin - Since Oberon's children are immortal, I'm guessing that the muzzle will be on the Banshee for a few hundred years at least. :)
All - I also don't think that any of the Seelie will turn on Oberon. He may suspect a few, but they are the chosen. I also believe that Puck will get a chance to redeem himself to Oberon.
As for Goliath and Elisa, why are all of you people jumping straight to the sexual part of their relationship. There is more than that to a partership. And the kids issue too, just chill, it isn't like spending time together and dating means popping out children right and left. Besides, in the middle of the Rising? Don't you think more important things might just come up?(Sorry if I sound too preachy, Long day)

Not at all, then again it would depend on the woman, and what she wants..., I don't image this would be such an issue if Elisa fell in love with a "normal" sized gargoyle such as Brooklyn. To me the issue isn't the..., how do I say it..., (don't take it out of context), isn't the size of a gargoyle..., Hell the way I see it if you wanna have sex with a gargoyle, then by all means do it. That's not the problem, the problem is the issue raising a child with gargoyle and human parents. I don't even accept it with adoption or scientific/magical influence. Not in this time, maybe one day, in say.., 2255. I would be open minded to a gargoyle and human rasing a child.., But now? Uh-huh. I'm sure Elisa wants kids one day, but sweetie, the only thing besides love that you're gonna get from Goliath.., is physical pleasure, no child. Sorry sugar, have ta look to a human for that!

Am I still the only voice of reason here? C'mon, this ain't like two people from different races getting together. These are two completely different species. And some pretty substantial evidence that they're not biologically compatible. I personally can't vouch for all New Yorkers, but acceptance be damned, if they new that Elisa and Goliath were doing the horizontal hokey-poke (yes I'm actually calling it that, this is a family comment room!) they would be pretty grossed out. Right before they got the torches and pitchforks. I mean, most humans at best tolerate them, but how would they honestly feel about one of them mating with a human? Bloody anarchy my friend.

Sorry, it's me again. I wanted to bring up a topic that I don't know if you guys have approached before or not (I'm new to the comment room)

One of the things I love to do is a Casting Call. If any of you are familiar with Wizard: A Guide to Comics magazine, you know they do this all the time with comic books.

So basically, I wanta know, who would you cast if Disney was making a live action movie of the Gargoyles? [please try and be creative. I know that Disney made the characters of the show look like their counterparts in real life, ie. Frakes really does look like Xanatos and Marina Sirtis looks like the human Demona. But what about the other characters? Who would you have play Elisa? Macbeth? Oberon? Puck? Of course the 'goyles would have to be CGI with the usual voices. Hell, you can include the TGS characters too, and who you would like to play their parts. But give me the 411. Or if you thind this blows, go ahead and tell me, I won't be to offended...I hope.]

But if any of you decide to get silly and choose Jeff Bennett for the part of, lets say, Macbeth, then I will strangle you.

The Gargoyles are humanoid, but no one is gonna mistake someone with wings, talons, a tail (and, in Brooklyn's case, a beak) as your average Jon Q. Public. I don't know, this subject just seems real weird to me. Besides, even though I'm more of the typical neanderthal man (you know, more action less romance) I gotta admit that Gargoyles is so much better with the sexual tension between Goliath and Elisa. They can't get together because they aren't even of the same species. It's kind of like the whole Mulder/Scully thing. Even though lots of people would probably like them to get together, that would ruin things.

Still, who knows? Maybe my dad will mutate Elisa into a Gargoyle just for the hell of it.

[Oh, and Batya...I just gotta say, you are one hell of a good writer. Keep it up.]

BATYA: Well said! *applauds*
Jalapena, I've even seriously considered creating a webpage dedicated soley to interspecies relationships, with fanfic, histories of the couples, etc, including couples like Goliath and Elisa, of course, both Natalie and Nick _and_ Tracy and Vachon from _Forever Knight_, and several _Star Trek_ couples where species was especially an issue, like Kira and Odo. I might still do it someday, if I ever get the time and motivation.

ED: I agree with you completely topic-wise -- I'd have preferred for all canon discussion to take place at Station 8, and TGS discussion here. There's no way to keep it that way, I suppose. But I do think that a link to the S8 room at the top of this page would be a good idea.

Goliath and Elisa: Ah, one of my favorite topics. As far as children, Greg has said that it's impossible for them to have children naturally (not surprising, considering how wildly divergent gargoyles would have to be genetically from humans). When he made the comment "I'm sure Servarius would love to try", I assumed there'd be some type of story where Servarius gets ahold of some of their DNA, or maybe uses "leftover" from Thailog and Delilah, and genetically engineers a child . . . maybe for use as a servant/protector/drone/what-have-you, a la "Little Anton", or as a "favor" to Goliath and Elisa. I even entertained the notion that they'd actually ASK him, but that's rather ridiculous. Then Greg posted this in answer to one person's question:

"Eventually, way, way down the line, I see Goliath and Elisa addressing the issue of children. All sorts of options are available, except natural procreation between two widely and wildly divergent species. Elisa could never be pregnant with Goliath's child without assistance from science or magic. I've
already stated that I don't see them going that way. But I do see them raising a child together. But not without serendipity (and some tragedy) playing a role. I don't want to say anymore right now."

My guess is that Elisa gets involved with some young human child on a case, who is orphaned during the course of the story, and Elisa convinces Goliath that they (or legally, she, as a single parent) should adopt him/her. I know there are a billion things wrong with that theory (like cops not getting emotionally involved in their cases), but it's just my guess.

Gotta glide. Clear skies, everyone.

**Before leaving, Tanika walks over to DOUG and hands him a stack of business cards from the Save the Dragons campaign, the Adopt a Dragon Foundation, the Friends of the Dragon webring, the Alt.Fan.Dragons newsgroup, and several others, and whispers, "I've given them all your business card, too. Sevarius Jr., Jackal, and anyone else who thinks Goliath and Elisa mating is wrong -- do you also object to the cross-species marriages and crossbreed children in Star Trek? Deanna Troi's parents, Worf's marriage to Dax (and his quarter-human son Alexander)? Or for that matter everybody's favorite Vulcan/human halfbreed, Spock?
I mean, heck, at least Elisa and Goliath are from the same _planet_....

I agree with ED that some of the conversation here really belongs in the original comment room, but it's difficult to restrict that sort of thing. On to one or two comments of my own:

I think that gargoyles actually predated humans, myself. My main reason for suspecting this is that gargoyles seem better adapted, biologically speaking, to a world where humans and other sentient beings that are active in the daytime don't exist. Let's face it, stone sleep is a dangerous liability with the humans around - in fact, without it, the mass extinctions might not have been possible. But on its own terms, it's very useful; the gargoyle stores up enough solar energy to allow him or her to glide around at night, undergoes rest, and wounds are healed. If there were no humans around, stone sleep wouldn't be a liability at all. (Not that this is intended as an argument in defense of Demona's genocidal campaigns, mind you :)

Am I the only one who thinks that the idea of Goliath and Elisa having kids is perverted? I mean Jesus, regardless of the romance between them (which I, being a callous, lonely man, never really thought necessary), they aren't even of the same species! I mean, the gene-splicing thing with Delilah I can buy, but them...together? Ugh. Not a nice image.

Shauntell: Goliath and Elisa having children. Interesting idea that I've wonder about too. My theory is that either magic would have to be involved or Dr. Sevarius. But Deliah is prove that human and gargoyle genes can be combined.

Deliah turning to stone at sunrise, hum. I think she would. Sevarius explained that the stone sleep allows gargoyles to collect solar energy so they wouldn't have to spend all their time eating--what was it--the equivlant of a whole cow a day? Deliah's metabolism would require that she either sleeps as a statue or spends all her time eating. But regardless, I think the clan should make more of an effort to make her part of the clan. Out of all the clones, she probably has the best chance of intergrating.

I haven't made a proper post in here for ages, have I?

Well, answering last week's Star Trek q, I'm the curious opposite. I became interested in ST because of 2 reasons.
1)Because one of my friends is a Borg freak and I was curious to see what he was talking about.
2)Because of the Gargoyles actors.
So Al's currently lending me some of his taped Voyager eps and his First Contact videos. It's quite good actually. But I came to ST (in part) through Gargs, not vica versa. :)

DumlaoX: The 'white' pages? *laughs* Is that the American version of Yellow Pages or something?

Doug: yeah, but unless the Banshee can have Madoc remove the clamp over her mouth, her best bet is major sucking up to Oberon, not rebellion. As for the sisters, I'm not sure they'd trust Madoc.

Todd: Hmm. Interesting name origin.

Felicia: Hmm. I think that Greg said that most of the stuff with Elisa's genes went on the looks. The mechanics of her is probably more taken from Demona. :| But she might be up and about at sunrise, I suppose.

You know, a lot of these discussions really belong at S8. This was my fear originally with separate CRs. *sigh* Still, you get all the piccies here :)

Lady Mystic: I think the first race is referring to them being the most important race to themselves. But I hadn't really considered that they gained those customs independently. But since most of the stuff they might require would probably come from humans anyway, I assume they'd need to get it from the humans even if it isn't strictly 'permission'. Hmm… interesting though.

Got to go... Bye!

Hello everyone! Long time, no see! :)

I haven't been on the computer at all since like Friday. Real Life stuff. Just went to my family's family-gathering. I haven't been around in days so bare with me while I catch up.

<<ED: As for shaving, why would the humans give gargoyles, or beasts as many would see them, the opportunity to shave? Perhaps Malcolm and a few others would be OK with it, but many wouldn't. And as for gargs adopting human customs, yeah. You're right, methinks.>> First of all, let me say thanks for agreeing with me on the idea of gargoyles adopting human customs. But to clarify on the rest of your comment: Who said anything about the gargoyles having to get permission from the humans to do anything? How do we know (or not know) that they shaved (and did other things) before the humans entered into their lives? We automatically assume that their "human" qualities came from us. What if they (meaning their "human" qualities) were around before there was ever even an "US".

It seems like they had a unique, civilized (as in evolved) culture of their own way before humans were around. A unique blend of human and animalistic qualities. And like every culture, it picks up things from other cultures. So they may have gotten some customs from humans, while their other "human-like" qualities may have come from a gargoyles origin.

So I think gargoyles are not void from the concept of having their own unique culture. They are clasified as "The First Race", a race older than ours. So let's start treating them like we treat the Second and Third Races, as a species with it's own origin and personality. We've got to stop thinking of them as pets that humans tamed, but as a race that was "civilized" before humans probably were. (Sorry if I sounded angry - didn't mean to.)

I don't think that we'll ever meet Goliath's biological parents in TGS; let's face it, after all, biological parents were just not part of the Gargoyle Way at Castle Wyvern. Remember how long it took Angela to get Goliath to acknowledge her as his daughter.

The name "Madoc Morfryn" comes from some old Welsh texts where he was named as Merlin's father, but no further information was given. We combined the name with the medieval tradition that Merlin's father was the Devil (though changing it to a powerful and evil renegade fay to avoid religious controversy issues - although a trace of this is found in Maddox's first name, Nicholas - as in "Old Nick").

Hi again.
I argee with Amber girl there. I been thinking about Goliath & Elisa's relationship and so for...
I had this vision that Goliath's parents would be not from Scotland orinogally(sp). But like the time of Greek mythology.
Gods, like Zeus and Aries.
I made this picture in my head that Goliath's mother would have his colors(lavendar skin , blank/brown hair..etc.) but have the taloned wings.
And she'll be like a gargoyle version of Xena ! Sounds weird but it's matches perfectly. And in my own way gargoyles in that time didn't turn to stone. But Aries fought agains Zeus and Aries won a battle he made all gargoyles in Greece and everywhere that he saw turn to stone by day. But when it hit Goliath's mother and father.....somehow they were turned immortal.

Cool idea , huh ?

See ya !

Hi, it's me again. I was just wondering about Goliaths parents. I think it would be really cool if we had a chance to see them, and let Goliath get to know them. I think it would be even better to have them whisked into the future and revealed to him. I would love to see them, because I have been curious about them for the longest time.. I was also wondering if you would do a picture of them just to let us see what they look like. Did you allready have something like that in mind? If not it would be cool!
I was also wondering if you have any intentions of bringing Thailog back into the story. He was my favorite villian and I was also wanting to know if he will one day turn good or something? And... ( too many questions, but you're the only ones doing something about the gargoyles, so.... ), will you have Goliath and Elisa find a way to have children? I know that in the response page for Greg, he was saying something along the lines of Goliath and Elisa coming to a decision of some kind of matrimony, and they would some how have children. Will you guys put that in, or is is too.. I don't know, messy? Either way I think it would be sweet for them. Anyway I think that's all for now. Thanks.

(Doug sticks his head in the door, breathes a sigh of relief at seeing no dragons present, then walks in)
Mandi: Hmm, that idea you have about the Banshee joining Maeve's side and then having mixed feelings about Maeve's trying to take action against Rory sounds intriguing. I would like to see it in an ep. Maybe Molly and Rory will get together again, even. Hehehe. We already know one Unseelie has mixed feelings about the whole mess of them being bad guys (Umbriel). It would be good to see more.
On another note, I don't think Oberon knows about the Archmage-Sisters alliance, there was no reference to him knowing in the original series. And, yeah, he might be able to forgive them for it if he did know. Besides, in my mind, they're still a vengeful trio of witches. Sure they might not defy Oberon because they were worried about him, but in every ep they've previously been in, the Sisters have been trying to manipulate people to do their own ends. Even in "Ill Met by Moonlight," they were trying to get Oberon and Titania to kick the Avalon Clan out, thus getting their revenge on the Magus even though he was dead. At least it seemed that way to me. I also think the Sisters don't like being under Oberon that much, maybe they enjoyed it more when Avalon was their domain alone. And they don't seem to see humans or gargoyles as anything but tools to be subjugated. Just like Madoc. So, yeah, I can see them joining up. Perhaps all the brown-nosing the Sisters are doing is just to keep Oberon's favor so they can later manipulate him into doing something for them again. When he sees through the manipulation, as he well might, or they tire of toying with him (like they ever could), they'll switch sides and join Madoc. That's what I think might happen at least. Y'all's thoughts on this would be appreciated.
Where did the TGS staff get the name Madoc Morfyn anyway? I haven't been able to find any references to it in Celtic or Gaelic myth websites and that's what it sounds like it's from. Oh well, see y'all later.

Have the Weird Sisters *really* defied Oberon? We've no evidence that he knows for certain about their alliance with the Archmage, and even if he did know of it, he might have seen it as a "desperate measures" affair to rid Avalon of the human trespassers that he himself objected to. Oberon doesn't really seem to pay that much attention to what his Children are doing, unless it involves direct disobedience to his express will.

Doug: The Banshee defecting is plausible, unless time with that muzzle actually taught her humility instead of fanning her hatred for Oberon. I don39;t know how long Oberon intended to keep that muzzle on her, but it would certainly give her time to think things over. The Weird Sisters, I think, might be a different matter. They've already tried defying Oberon, which didn't necessarily go as planned. Considering they spent a lot of time afterwards brown-nosing like mad, they might think twice before trying abject mutiny again, even with Maeve and Madoc at full power. I don't know.

Amber: I was thinking that if the Banshee's punishment was over a long period of time, she would have no choice but to think about what she had done, and unless she otherwise got even angrier with Oberon and Cu Chullain, she might actually regret losing Rory and her excuse to take a human guise. Seems that Oberon's children in general, not just the tricksters, seem to take a pleasure in play-acting.

Cassandra: That's quite true, but she also had to stifle his curiosity and desire to find out the truth. From the little bit we saw of Molly, she seemed more spontaneous and adventurous, and more likely to spark those qualities than quash them.

I'm not saying with the Banshee/Molly dilemma that we should ever see Molly again. Far from it; but if the Banshee does decide to switch sides and join Maeve, she might have mixed feelings should Maeve try to get revenge on Cu Chullain with her full power restored.

All right. I promise I will try to broach a topic that doesn't involve that ep next time. Really. I mean it this time. Yeah. :)

CASSANDRA - No, actually, Garlon was based on the invisible guy in "Generations", but in a very roundabout sort of way. The two are not actually the same person - Garlon is just based on him the way that the ColdTrio were based on Shakespeare's Othello, Desdemona, and Iago. Garlon himself, as we did him, is our own invention.

Mandi Ohlin: Maybe Banshee/Molly couldn't stop Rory's going after he had the vision of the tomb. Predestination or something. But it seems to me everything she did before that point was to keep him confused or encourage him to leave Ireland.

Here's a question that's been bothering me for a while. Where did Capt. Colin Mater come from in Pendragon? He was there from the beginning, friend of Arthur and the London clan, but with no back story. Or maybe he had one and I just missed it.

There was mention of Garlon as being "the invisible man" from the series. Does that mean he was shown (no pun intended) on the televised episodes? Like one of those background faces you see over and over again. (Like Margot and Brenden only with no story).

Weeelll....I guess I'm number eight! If you count Wavelength's two posts as one...oh, thanks, now I'm all confused!

Anyway, thanks to my obsession with "The Tain" (Stop laughing, Jen, I know you're gonna read this!) I went and taped "The Hound of Ulster" to watch again, and something made me wonder: Why on earth would the Banshee be so foolish as to just let Rory go to Cu Chullain's tomb, although she did come along too as Molly? Is it because she was itching for a fight, or did "Molly" actually start to develop some feelings for Rory?

Numerous fanfics have postulated that the identities that the Fae adopt, if worn long enough, are more than guises, but develop into separate personalities of their own. The Owen/Puck scenario is frequently treated in such a way that Owen and Puck are not precisely the same person, but two different personalities, Owen having become more than just a disguise in the amount of time Puck posed in mortal form.

Now take into consideration the Banshee's similar means of deception. True, she pretended to be Molly in order to keep an eye on her old enemy, but from Rory and his father's reactions to her, it seems that Molly was in Rory's life for quite a while. If Molly developed in much the same way as Owen has appeared to, would she perhaps have a few regrets about Rory that might have been transferred to the Banshee?

Note: I said regrets, nothing else. I really have nowhere to take this thought, it just popped into my head.

Still working on the mess that "Relatively Speaking" has become,
