Kitania> :::Blink!::: What?!? Me??? Autographs??? Ohmigod it's started! It's like Christine told me once when I started writing fanfic... When they start asking for autographs, you're halfway to being famous. :) Now, if someone comes up to me at the hotel at the Gathering and offers to carry my bags... <chuckles>.
Kit, I'll be more than happy to autograph your print-outs. Although I feel there are more deserving writers out there than I that need the attention.
Other news> My wife and daughter and I went out to see "Prince Of Egypt" this afternoon. One word: Abso-fantastic! Loved all the visuals, music (and I thought the songs were well paced), and the changes made from what had been done in "The Ten Commandments" and from even the scripture were great IMO. Disney better watch out! Dreamworks just might snatch the Animated Movie Crown out from their hands!
Speaking of Disney, I also saw the trailer for "Tarzan" in the previews. Now, I know Edgar Burrows must be displeased with it, but I'm looking forward to this one! I personally didn't like a lot of the L/A versions of Tarzan (including the Johny Weismuler serials, and the Chris Lambert "Greystoke" movie), but this one looks to be one I could enjoy. I know my wife will like it, strictly for one of the
songs, sung (and perhaps written) by Phil Collins.
Will be talking to you all later! Maintain and Check Six!

Coyote the only thing weather like this is good for is the knitting in front of the fireplace with the cats. I don't have the fireplace, but two out of three ain't bad. PS bring the hot chocholate.
In reference to the more "adult" sites, I prefer Christine's works. They have class. If she ever wanted to make a living writing "bodice rippers", she'd do quite well IMHO. I'm glad I haven't found any of the really adult sites. I do have limits as to what I consider good taste and raunchy isn't it.
Robby you could always count down to the Gathering if you're bored.

Frodo: Ehh ... Wilek may have to help me out on this one, but he's either referring to my character Slash or $he's referring to a time during the summer when I had 25 categorized clones (of which Coyote the Gearhead is the only survivor), inspiring him to get 25 categorized clones of himself, one of which was a weregarg.$

As the group drives on to the Airport, Frodo shifts into human form, revailing himself to be a human male around 20, waring a leather jacket and jeans, with black hair and taned skin...he still has the gargoyle wings on his back. After changing form he reaches out with his hand, creading ripples in the air, as if dipping the hand into a pool of water...and pulls out an Ice chest...wich he opens and passes cold beer out to everybody.....then turns to Kitania and Doug. "Ok Id like to know who old 'corpsy' back there is and also who you people are...by the way Im Frodo...a wandering Garou......pleased to meet you.....

Kitania- Actually, give him glasses, and Vinnie and I look a LOT alike. Same haircut, same hair color, same basic wardrobe, I some times go into the John Travolta accent (sorta)... And I have been known to trip up over my own feet on occassion... I have far too much in common with Vinnie...
Costumes for gathering- I've been considering setting one up, but I'm not sure as who yet... I actually made a Brooklyn costume for Halloween like 2 years ago, but the beak kept falling off, the wings are hard to keep on, and I did not enjoy covering myself in red paint or dying my hair white. Probably won't be Brooklyn at the Gathering. Possibly I'll go as Vinnie...
Coyote- Bad luck on the weather... Sorry dude.
Argent- The CR Lawyer was here when I arrived. I think Doug created him, I don't know... Basically, he is here to defend all things legal in the CR. (So if anyone is going to get sued, or something dangerous is happening, he's there to help out. He also keeps the room from being harrased by Disney copyright people, if they cared) He can be killed in any way you can imagine, but he always comes back, like Kenny from South Park. (Kenny is his name BTW) Anyone can do whatever they want, but we try to kill him only on special occassions. (Like certain events, holidays, or when you're in a really bad mood) There was a week when everyone killed him like every post, (I was a major culprit of this as I actually took the identity of the Lawyer and posted as him AND myself)and it lost its specialness. So you can do whatever you want to him, just don't kill him repeatedly without reason. And remember, sometimes a simple death is just as good as a really elaborate one, or unexpected is often good. However, elaborate can be REALLY funny sometimes... Also, we discovered the other day we can exdplode Deuce's head and it'll come back together, but we haven't really tested that yet, so try not to do so.
Heather- **smile** All episodes this season are Gargoyles/Pendragon, regardless of if they have any of the other story or not.
Ordell- Earth 2... Cool show, but they had no ending, so don't expect one.

**The screen lights up to reveal Coyote still grinning at Ravyn's suggestion of needing the Fairlane from his fics. However, he's grinning now because he's got an idea.**
Hey, Gearhead! Cover for me!!
<"What? Why?">
Just get up here!
**The Gearhead pops the hatch on the tank, looking up at Coyote, who is now climbing out of the Commander's Seat, angling his body toward the rear of the tank.**
<"What are you ...?">
Just jump in the seat, willya? I got an idea!
<"Uh oh ...">
HEY!
**PAUSE RP!!**
Starsinger: Want some of my snow? I'll gladly let you have it, provided you scoop it yourself from around my car! (j/k!!)
Hey, your water table might be coming from Michigan this year, ya never know ... especially if you guys don't get enough of the white stuff.
Christine: "Deep guacamole?" That's a new one on me ... the food product I'm used to hearing about being in deep is kim chee. And if anyone else in here knows what kim chee is, you are very well traveled (or else, really like world foods).
Oh, BTW, did you get my AvMists submission?
Kitainia: Dolls of Rosanna, Liberty and Rain? TOO KEWL!!!
**composes self**
Sorry ... but I'd love to see them!! Just one thing, though ... if you are doing it yourself, to get Liberty's coloring right, you have to refer to Cyrway's picture of her.
ravyn: Thanks. :)
Gathering costumes: I'm only dressing up for the Masquerade ... I was planning on either Broadway or Samson (my version), though I am open to suggestions, especially if anyone can pick out a different character from my fics that a 300 lb. man can dress up as convincingly.
Porno-Gargs: I've stumbled across a similar concept that someone attached to an entire page of pre-Crisis Supergirl fics (mostly erotica). Lame doesn't even begin to describe it.
Wilek: Good job on the fic, especially the stuff I learned about myself ... didn't know I belonged to a cadre of monks! (j/k)
Seriously, I liked it.
Deuce: The crappiest bands tend to do that kind of music. Bands that I've been in have done mostly well-known musicals, classical works or popular music that people actually *like* (f/e, the SMB performing "Love Shack" during a pregame one time.).
**RESUME RP!!**
**Coyote slides up to the edge of the tank, knees bent, looking like he's preparing to jump.**

<"What're you doing?!">
You gave me an idea, Rav. **hands her the shotgun.** You shoot ... I'll drive.
**Ravyn cocks the gun, as Coyote slips into the driver's seat she just vacated, floors the gas and speeds alongside the tank, on its other flank. Ravyn aims the shotgun and fires toward a large bunching of Spaarti troops as the screen winks off.**

**RP ACTION**
On the way to the airport, the Ravens are intercepted by a familiar foe, the Masked Lich, who is calmly standing in the middle of the street waiting. "Let's run over him," Jammer suggests. "Wait," says Lathrop. "That's just a programmed illusion. He isn't really where we think he is." "That's right!!" the illusion cackles as it splits into four more. "And you'll never find me! I'll let my new minions take it from here." He gestures, and nine walking dinosaur skeletons (a brontosaur, stegosaur, triceratops, ankylosaur, three pterodactyls, a T-Rex, and something that looks like a bunch of bones from different dinos assembled into one complete skeleton) come crashing out of nearby buildings and roar at the Ravens and their allies. "Oh boy," Doug sighs as he and Kitainia power up their jet belts and take off to battle the dactyls. The others stay on the ground and split up to take care of the land-based dinos. As she lifts off and catches an air-current, Kitainia switches off her jet-belt and begins gliding. She then pulls out her gun and tries to take aim. As she does so, and avoids the undead dactyls swooping and diving at her (as well as the bronto's neck), the half-garg turns to face the Comment Room.
**END RP 1ST HALF**
Just a few questions to answer before the new ep gets posted tonight, I'll get them done now.
Coyote: Sorry, didn't mean to offend you with my band and football riot remarks last post. I won't let it happen again. Forgiven?
StephenRS: If we come (and don't worry, the chances are that we will but there's always the possibility of something bad happening), we'll definitely let lots of people take shots of us. That would include you of course. I'll also want you to autograph a printed-out story or two for me. Thanks for your Elektra comments, she's one of my favorite Christine characters, too. I also like what you've done with her. However, I don't think I can get Doug to dress up as Matt, because he likes Christine's Elektra more. Oh well, either way, my costume doesn't have to change.
CR Lawyer: Doug brought him in in one of his first postings way back in July '98. I don't think he was here before that. Or was he? I don't know.
Deuce: You didn't depress me. I was just offering ways for you to get out of your own depression, because it sounded like you were experiencing it. Glad you're out of it now.
Heather: Gargoyles and Pendragon are crossed together comic-book style this season. We'll be getting lots of stories set just in Manhattan, others just in Britain, some with the two in combination, the setting switching back and forth. Hope this answers your question. If it doesn't, I'll let the TGS Staff try.
Wilek: Yes, there is a law against discrimination, but that doesn't stop people from breaking it. Oh well, the Oscar discrimination thing is really just a rumor I heard that sounds like it could be true. So I don't know if they really passed Kate over or not for that reason.
On my figures, I usually make my gargs out of old Gargoyles figures I picked up from way back when they were still out. My supply is currently running low, so I may be purchasing a few more at the Gathering this summer. But I have enough to make the gargs on the resolution list. As for horns, pointed ears, beaks, wings, etc, I use a knife, clay, and glue to make those and put them on a figure that looks similar to who I'm trying to build. It ends up looking a lot like the character, usually. For you, I think I'll be using an altered Goliath figure (yes, I know you aren't that big but it's as close as my figures come) painted a different color and with hair dyed blonde. For the horns I can use the above clay and glue method. Miriam I'll probably make out of a Barbie doll, hope she isn't offended by that.
Earth 2: Sorry. I don't remember that show.
Okay, that's all for now. See y'all again after the posting of the new episode and X-Files.
**MORE RP ACTION**
Kitainia and Doug manage to shoot down two of the three dactyls with their guns. Frodo soars up beside them and takes out the third one. Meanwhile, on the ground Jammer crashes his truck into the bronto and combination dinosaur's legs, breaking their bones apart and sending them to the ground and into pieces. Gubio uses his Mech's gyros to jump over the triceratops as it charges at him, then blows it up with a heavy missile blast. The stego and ankylo swing their tails at the Onslaught, but are blasted with a pair of extremely explosive fireballs from Lathrop and Elena. Only T-Rex is left, and he is soon downed by Orion, who uses a turn undead spell. The Masked Lich looks angry. "We will meet again, fools!" he shouts, disappearing in a flash of black light. The good guys regroup and drive on for the airport as the screen fades out. To be continued next time.

Marching Bands > hey, I'm in band. Of course, we haven't marched since October and I hate marching with all my heart, but I'm more of a concert season type person. I play the tuba, so all our parts are bass lines, which means quarter notes through the whole thing. It sucks, but after marching ends, you sometimes get some cooler things to play. I can play the trumpet too, but only jazz stuff.

Anyone else in here remember a show that came on NBC a few years back called Earth 2? I saw the pilot when it first aired, thought it looked like a cool show, but never saw any of the other ones. NUDE GARG PICS> To be honest, I've seen one site where someone did do some of their own (rather good renderings of Angela, Demona, Elisa, Fox - albeit they drew a star-tattoo over her eye - and Hyena) along with some obvious pics that were either VERY badly done screen-capture edits, or original drawings where someone had done the "redrawn Adult pics" route. I won't go into detail, but on a couple of the original pics, Demona DEFINETLY has an attitude change towards others! :)
(and yes, I did save most of the original pics, but I think I left most of them on a disk back with my stuff in Florida, so no requests please!)
KITANIA> Dispite the fact I don't have a job, I will be at the Gathering in Dallas, and yes I will be in costume. If anyone has any instructions or experience in making wings (preferably of the Glider Type like Brooklyn's) I would be much appreciative since the person that was helping me make wings bowed out. I have three costume choices now: Broadway, Mike McCoy the Anti-Quarryman (from my fics) and a third idea that I'm keeping secret until the night of the masquerade.
Doug and you as Broadway and Elektra? COOL! Elektra is one of my personal favorites from Christine's stories (She and I both share her in our stories). Christine would have never used her as much as she had if I hadn't shown enough interest to develop her character for my stories: the main difference between her Elektra and my version is that mine married Matt Bluestone, and adopted a orphaned gargoyle girl named Deliah.
Hope you let me get a pic of you two before the Gathering is over! I doubt I'll win so I'll be snapping pictures of the other attendees.

Kitainia and the others see Frodo appear out of nowhere, and step back in surprise. The enemy are also shocked by the new arrival, long enough for Frodo to slice Dibble in half and then go to work on the others. The Ravens quickly come out of their suprise, and help him finish this group of soldiers off. "That should be all of them in the city," says Gubio, checking his Mech's radar. "The others are at the airport, I guess we're headed that way next." "Wait," says Doug, turning to Frodo. "Who are you?" "Name's Frodo," says the giant winged werewolf. "I hunt for evil, so that I may combat it wherever it may lurk." "Interesting," Doug nods. "Perhaps I should explain what we are doing here to you." He proceeds to do so, while Kitainia turns to face the CR.
**RP PAUSE**
Sorry I haven't been here in a while. Doug and I had to beat Xenogears last night (VERY cool RPG with great plot and character), and tonight we've been working on Metal Gear Solid. That is also a very very cool game. Great plot, characters, action, and information on military operations and techniques. We just beat the first boss, and will continue this evening after X-Files. So far, the heroine is my favorite character, even if she should have a better name.
Thanks to everyone for their congratulations and warm welcomes back to the Comment Room. May you all have a very happy new year.
Primus: I too am curious about whether he will ever be seen again. I also would like to know if he was around during the assassination of Julius Caesar. I've always been curious as to how a gargoyle would react to that event.
SJ, Jaden: Glad you'll both be sticking around. And SJ, LA Confidential wasn't the only flick that should have but didn't get an Oscar. Kate Winslet deserved Best Actress for her preformance way more than Helen Hunt! Darn commitee discriminated against her and the others because she was British. Hopefully, that will not happen again. <fingers crossed>
Coyote: Great new fic, I liked it a lot. Especially the ending. Keep up the good work, I look forward to WCC. By the way, do you have any more pics done for that? :)
Bands: I hold the same opinion about sports Doug does, even though I was once a cheerleader and JV women's basketball player. They are fun, and can be inspiring and good exercise, but one should not get too so obsessed with them that they start riots or do any other crime just because their team won or they want/ed it to.
Heather: Everyone wears glasses these days. Or contacts (or they've had corrective laser vision surgery, like me). My mom says it's the computer and TV screens damaging our eyes. I don't know if I believe her. Oh well, there's no way I'm taking TVs and computers out of my life even if she's right. :) BTW, I too was not laughing.
**BEGIN SPOILERS FOR WILEK'S FANFIC**
Wilek: Nice fic from you, too. Thanks for including me, and the other Ravens. I liked what you did with Sata, Arianna (both of them), Arawn, yourself, Miriam, and Cocytus. Keep up the good work, I look forward to seeing more of your fanfiction.
**SPOILERS END**
Deuce: Come on, surely your year wasn't all bad. You did find this CR and start posting in here, thus making friends with all of us. Isn't that a good thing? And I'm sure you had other good things happen, too. Just think back on what happened to you last year, and its results, and I am sure you will discover them. Also, remember, nothing is impossible. You just have to want it badly enough, and have the skill to attain it, then use that skill. That's one of the most important lessons of life.
Timedancer's been delayed? Darn it!! I really wanted to see more than one TGS ep a week, and read more Brooklyn and Sata stories. Oh well, as long as it comes up soon, I won't throw a temper tantrum.
DumlaoX: Thanks for the new staff offers. I'll have to pass, though, not being that great a writer. (Doug dictates most of my RP posts.) And he'll pass as well, he's got enough things that take up his time. But don't worru, I'm sure you'll find enough people. Thanks for showing us all the pretty pictures.
Robby: Your quest for a Vinnie pic makes me wonder something. How much do you look like him IRL? Just curious, good luck in finding a pic.
Resolutions: 1. Keep the grades up and rising. 2. Have fun and enjoy myself. 3. Get promoted to supervisor at the coffee shop where I work now (I have a year to do it). 4. Get dolls of Birdie and Aiden from Christine's fic, Miriam and Wilek from Wilek's; Rosanna, Liberty, and Rain from Coyote's; Nikki, Gary, Page, and Jadriel from Doug's, and any other characters I find myself wanting made and added to my collection. 5. Get to Gathering '99. 6. Try to form a good relationship with Doug's folks if he introduces me to them, even if his mother is a real b*^*h. 7. Deal with every conflict that comes when it does, with a clear head, open mind, and my friends beside me.
Ego Boosts: I too enjoy getting them. Thanks go out to all who have provided such in this Comment Room.
One-Eyed Squid: Welcome Back!
Estra: Welcome to the Comment Room. Glad you've already said goodbye to your sanity.
TRC: I completely agree with you about rough times. They also help a person change and develop, and learn to deal with hardships as well as good things. That, in my honest opinion, is one of the main things necessary to succeed at life.
Photos: I too will stay out of this topic, it is clearly not appropriate for the Comment Room. To see why we should stop talking about it, read Christine's feelings.
Frodo: $Welcome to the RP, glad you could join us. I liked your opening. Please remember two things, though. One, your posts need to have the warnings set off from them, that's a rule in here. Two, I ask that you please do not bore us with postings starring someone who's an ultimate ass-kicking Fixer Gary Stu character and little more. I'm sure you're not gonna do that, right? Sorry I have to say this, it's just my job as the RP Ref. $
Question for everyone: Is anybody else here planning to attend the Gathering in costume this year? Doug and I are, we're going as Broadway and Elektra from Christine's fanfic. We shall begin work on our disguises soon, that's resolution number eight. Just curious if others are also dressing up, and if so as who. If you know, please tell me.
That's all for now, I must sleep. Before the ungodly hour starts affecting my alertness and judgement (thanks for the warning, Master Miller). Later all!
**MORE RP**
Doug finishes explaining the situation and Frodo nods. "It sounds as if you need all the help you can get, and our goals are the same," he says. "Therefore I shall travel with you." Doug nods, as does Kitainia. "Let's hurry on then," says the latter. The team all get into the truck and drive for the airport.
Meanwhile, in the secret base of the enemy, General Zale has acquired a new recruit to his army and is debriefing him. "I am Vapor Serpent," the stranger introduces himself. "Expert in stealth and commando tactics." "Excellent," Zale grins. "And I hear you have a small team of other commandos with you, also experts in those things among other skills. I have a mission for you." He hands him a folder detailing Wilek and his team. "These people should return to Earth soon. When they do, you are to eliminate them." (Note: These guys were inspired by Metal Gear Solid, of course. Vapor Serpent is a Liquid Snake type. His team members may be whatever sort of characters we RPers decide, everyone feel free to develop them.) The commando takes the folder and looks over it. "I accept. This assignment sounds easy. Given the proper transportation, I could even infiltrate that space station and kill them without being noticed thanks to my training."
"Too dangerous," Zale says. "Though I wish you could do it. You'll just have to wait till they come back down." Vapor Serpent nods, suppressing a sigh of regret. The screen fades out. To be continued.

Wilek- I was only making a joke about the fact if you had to put up a warning, you should put up the space as well. Not that funny I know, but keep in mind what my sleeping habits have been for the last few days... And my odd sense of humor normally...
Nude gargoyle pics- Um... I'm gonna follow room policy and stay away from this one. But since I don't believe I've seen the site in question, nor do I really want to, I have nothing to add to the matter anyhow...
Hey, does anybody know where a Vinnie pic exists? It's my mission to try and get a Vinnie pic into the Station 8 CR before the end of this year, but I haven't been able to find one anywhere! I'm thinking it needs to be an actual screenshot from the show though...

Um.... noooooo......Christine, I've seen the site in question and your adult section is pretty tame in comparision. I laughed hysterically when I saw it because 1) it was clearly garged up pics of 'adult magazine' photos and 2) the mechanics were unrealistic.
This just proves I have an odd sense of humor.

Sorry for the 2nd post, but ... on the subject of nudie pics -- I have seen some sites and sights that are quite startling; I'm betting mine wasn't the offender in this case! ; )
But -- let us not speak of such things, because pretty soon someone would start giving detailed descriptions of said pics, someone else would object strenuously, and we'd all be in deep guacamole.

We have normality ... anything you can't deal with is therefore your own problem (or something like that; too lazy to get up and look up the proper quote).
The in-laws are on their way back to California. One more night of work will end my 9 shifts in 10 days. And I think I'm finally starting to get over this cold. Hooray!
Fanfic update -- "The Scottish Rogue" is looking like it's going to run long, as all of them seem to be doing lately, so I'll need another week at least.
Reunions -- good to see the Cold trio again! And Gabriel too. Nice job, guys!

"Um....You're sure they won't kill us? ME especially?"
"Don't be stupid. I was hired to bring you here for safety, remember?"

Spinach: How can anyone eat that stuff??? My sister forced me to eat some when I was a kid. I thought, hey sure, if it's good enough for Popeye....I'm still traumatized. It didn't tast NEAR as appetizing as it looked.
Princess Estra: Yep, the Madness begins for you now. Unless you're already crazy, in which case, welcome to the family!!! :]
TRC: Being the Bruce Campbell stalker that I am, I knew all about his X-File appearance tomorrow night (which means that maybe this episode of the season WON'T suck). Bruce plays a demon with "a heart of gold." (oxymoron? ) in this eps by the way.
Snow, re. Robby: Hey buddy, count yourself lucky. They're predicting ice hear in Washington D.C. You haven't lived until you're out in 10 degree weather trying to break through an inch of the stuff with a piece of crap snow shovel made of fiberglass. And don't even start me on the horrors of getting last minute provisions from the grocery store...can you say battle royale?
Ugly gargs: Well....nobody tell him, but I always thought Bronx looked a little funky. Ugliest damn dog I've ever seen!
Nude Photos: I don't know about Laura James, but I once saw a Gargoyle site that was....well, the letter "X" was appropriate. Elisa was a very, very, bad girl.;)
Garg Comic: Only one man could have the job of pencilling it: Joe Madureira. He's the creator/artist for "Battle Chasers", a truly great comic (too bad it comes out at the rate of 1 issue a century :[ ). He has a great style. It's reminiscient of Manga or anime, and it's just too freakin' cool! Plus he's real "hot" right now, so if he was attached to the project, it'd definitely sell out.

The two unlikely travelers enter a turbolift. "Where are we going now," SJ 2 asks.
"To deliver you to my employer," Boba answered. "The one who hired me to find you and bring you here, safe and sound."
The turbolift came to a soft stop. As the doors opened, SJ 2 peered out into the enormous room before him. That's when he saw a familiar face.
"YOU??" the clone said in surprise. "You brought me here??"

The screen comes on, revealing that the Masked Lich has entered Albuquerque. "Those fools who put me in this state are here," he muses. "I must kill them. But how? I am outnumbered, outclassed in fighting and magic skill, and their clerics are powerful enough to turn me away." Then he spots the local Natural History Museum and remembers a spell in his Necromonicon. "Hmm..." he says as he goes inside. About five minutes later, the roars of undead dinosaurs echo out onto the street.
Meanwhile, the Ravens have been fighting their way through Albuquerque's streets, taking out lots of enemy vehicles and Spaarti clones. They have been joined by Theresa, who is using spells and thrown cats to take out her enemies. All of a sudden, a large group of soldiers confronts the gang, led by a blonde pasty-faced fat man in a colonel's uniform. "Well, well, if it isn't the hate-Jove gang!" the now grown-up bully laughs. "Time to die at the hands of my like-Jovers!!" Doug sighs, "Hello, Jove." "Dougie!! You switch sides again? Better get on my side if you don't want to get beat up!!" "Sorry, Jove. You're doing the wrong thing again. I can't abide that, let alone participate in it." "Oh, you gonna try and stop me? Fat chance! You never could take me down before, and you won't now. Ha ha!!" Doug draws his gun and blows the nasty grin off Jove's face with it. "I don't have to beat you up anymore, man," he says. "My fists aren't my only, or my most powerful weapon. That would be this." He taps his head and shoots the bully again. Jove falls down, bleeding from several wounds. "Kill them!!" he screams at the soldiers. The two sides get into a huge battle, and when it is over, most of the Ravens are unconscious and/or heavily wounded. But all the soldiers, including Jove, are dead. Shap and Orion begin to distribute healing spells, while Doug grimaces in pain and turns to face the CR.

**BEGIN SPOILERS FOR WILEK'S FANFIC**
Wilek: Nice job on "The Ascension." I liked what you did with Tachi/Arianna's name, the bad guy, and all the characters. Good plot as well and I liked that my girlfriend got some of the best lines. I can hardly wait for your next story to come out.
**SPOILERS FOR WILEK'S FANFIC END, BEGIN MY OWN FANFIC-RELATED DISCUSSION WITH POSSIBLE SPOILERS INSIDE**
TRC: You have nude photos of that girl? Or of one of my fanfic's four original heroines? (The others being Changeling, Kara, and Nikki of course.) I think a certain crow-faced pilot would like to see them very much. But be careful. Any reader of my work should know what Laura did to the last bunch of perverts who treated her how those photos treat women, IMO. (I'd say more, but I have the sneaking suspicion this topic might make Dumlao angry if we continue it.) Hope you're still enjoying my fics. Oh, btw, the fact that my character and that girl (whoever she is) look so much alike is complete bizzare coincidence. Forsaken came out a while after I thought Laura's looks up. And the girl on there is probably taller than her, too, in addition to the differences already mentioned. For me, thinking of a character usually starts with a premise for who they are, then a name, personality, what her relationship with other characters will be, and finally looks. That's how it went for Laura. Of course, all my characters will contine to evolve in the last three of those attributes as time and the saga's plot go on.
Fanfic-Writing Pace: I try to do a scene a day, whenever I can make time. Right now, I have almost all the preliminary scenes done for "Inheritance." Just have to do the clan's introduction, and the main action can begin. :)
Old Soldiers: Thanks for your comments on them, Coyote. I totally agree with everything you said. I too have at least two old soldiers in my fic. Hudson is one, Colonel Tomlinson is the other. The reasons why Hudson can still fight despite his age are obvious. As for Tommy, well, he was originally based on my grandfather, who at the age of 74 can still rope and hogtie a steer, shoot a gun, and fistfight like nobody's business. Grandaddy was kept out of World War 2 due to an illness, and I guess I created Tommy as who Grandaddy might have become had he entered the war. Since he's been able to stay in shape both physically and mentally, and because he believes in himself, Tommy still fights. Of course, he may not for much longer.
I guess guys like Seth, Agony, and Connor could also count as old soldiers. So could Demona and Macbeth. But they're all still in shape, and still have reasons to battle, so they all go on fighting, too.
Argent: I too would like to see the clans you mentioned in TGS. I of course will have them in my fanfic too, eventually. After all, who better to take out Taro and Paco Cruz (Guatemala's biggest drug cartel leader) than the gargs who live close to their places of residence? (But don't worry, that's not the only thing I'll be doing with the two clans.)
**MY FANFIC SPOILERS AND RELATED DISCUSSION OVER**
Robby: No scanner? Oh well. I'm sure Heather is lucky to have you no matter how you look. You're certainly lucky to have her. <smile>
One-Eyed Squid: Welcome back, man! Ain't seen you in a while. Hope you won't stay away for long.
Princess Estra: Welcome to our CR. About posting stories in here, you can do an RP and write story action there if you like. That's what Kitainia, Coyote, Wilek, me, and several others have been doing practically since we found this place.
Coyote: School spirit is good, but not too much of it. When a bunch of crazed Longhorn fans block traffic and trash the Drag just to celebrate UT winning a game (as happened last year), you just know there's got to be something not right in their heads. Oh well, at least I was safely at the gaming table when that event occurred and they didn't hurt anyone.
Ugly Gargs: I'm not exactly sure how one would have to look to be unattractive. Some gargs have both attractive and unattractive physical features (e.g. Zephiro, Ophelia). To be completely physically ugly, though, that would take some doing. Roland is the closest I've ever seen a writer come to doing a garg that looks that way. It really comes down to all a gargoyle's looks that make it physically ugly. Because there's so much genetic variance in the species, I really can't say how a particular ugly garg would look. Hope that's a good answer.
Okay, that's all for now. I'm off to play some RPG!
**RP AGAIN**
Suddenly Doug is interrupted by a shot echoing off the wall two inches from his face. He and the others turn to see that Jove's little pal, Major Micheal Dibble, has shown up with a whole bunch of Zale's Spaarti clone soldiers. Dibble sees Jove's corpse and looks very angry. The two sides begin to exchange fire as the screen fades out. To be continued next time.

Steve- I got you beat. I was up until 6 AM last night, and it wasn't an after effect of New Years. I'd BEEN staying up that late... Ah well, school in a few days, gotta stop that now...
One Eyed Squid, Princess Estra- I used to have a tape recorded message for newcomers to the CR, but I lost it... So I'll just say welcome, and enjoy your stay! If you had any sanity when you first came in, prepare to lose it. Almost everyone else here has. My sanity is still intact, but its slipping...
Estra again- I suppose your questions about submitting a fanfic were already answered by Kathy... Look to her earlier post if you missed it...
SOROW, Ravyn- Heh. I got the gargoyles comics when they first came out for about a dollar a piece. Pays to be friends with the comic store manager... Heh heh heh...
Coyote- At least you GET snow. I haven't seen the substance since I was two. And that WAS one of the better Trek lines, but my favorite still falls to the exchange between Data and Worf...

TRC: Hmm ... I'm actually glad you asked, seeings as how you're the first one to ask about this.
The way I see it is like this. If you knew you were in the middle of a worldwide war zone, where your very right to *existence* is what you're fighting for, wouldn't you want to fight despite your age or infirmity? Besides that, we're talking about three people, all former police officers, all (seemingly, in the show) shown as prime physical specimens ... even Peter Maza.
Besides that, you consider this on two of them:
Chavez is a general for the human resistance forces. Generals don't usually go out on the front lines ... it's more along the lines of what she did as the 23rd Precinct captain.
Morgan had only *just* retired from the force just prior to "The Midnight Visitor." As I've written him, Morgan stayed a beat cop for his entire time in the NYPD ... which I set at 38 years. That's a lot of toil on the body ... but at the same time, for him to keep up at that rate, he has to be in pretty good shape.
And as for Peter Maza ... well, there you're talking about a man who has an overriding sense of duty.
Hope that answers your questions.

Greetings Ladies , Gentlemen , Gargoyle and whatever species you may be .
Doug : You're telling me that I have a calendar of nude shots of Laura James . . . . HOT DAMN . It takes so little effort to envision the slight alterations necessary for the woman on the cover of Forsaken to be LJ .
Teasers - I am now beyond doubt that you TGS staff thoroughly enjoy the torture you so callously inflict on us . The pain that they cause me approaches unbearable at times .
Jackal : Farewell and God Speed my friend . stop in every now and again .
Heather : You are a lovely one are'nt you .
Robby : You are a very , VERY lucky man .
Robby + Heather : Remember you two , the rough times make the good ones all the sweeter .
Dumlao X : Why did you wait a week before the due date to tell us that Time Dancer would'nt be out for another month . And once again excellent job on Reunions . All those CR pictures that you showed us , we are going to be able to use them soon right . I really miss using the phoenix gate .
Small suvey :
1. If there were a new Gags comic in development , who would you want to pencil it ?
2. What would a Gagoyle have to look like for you to consider it ugly . (Personally I've seen people who could make any Gagoyle look attractive .
SJ : You had some Very funny RP's last week man . And in case you did'nt know Bruce Campbell (I believe) is in tomorrow's X-files . (You are the resident Bruce Campbell fan right ) . How could you forget THE most annoying activity on a long trip . Singing (badly) .
I once decided to be as irritating as I could be on a long trip , and I sung songs I was listening to on earphones , tried to see how long I cold make a high pitched hum and made sure that they could'nt stop me . I am now banned from all long car trips but it was worth it .
Coyote : Somethings been nagging at me , Given there ages would'nt certain people like Chavez , Morgan and Peter Maza be less than battle worthy 27 years in the future ?
My New Year Resolutions :
1. Save up for the Gathering 2000 .
2. Obey the Golden Rule in all my actions .
3. Watch my eating habits .
4. Hide my anger until I'm at Karate and can work it off .

Hi Estra and Welcome. This isn't a fanfic archive go to www.gargoyles-fans.org for that, but an organized fan based continuation of the Gargoyles series including some of the proposed spin offs. We don't take outside submissions. We do welcome people to write fanfics based on our continuity and post them to the fanfic archive. We will also be accepting applications for new staff shortly, stay tooned for details.

**The screen lights up to reveal Coyote's tank speeding toward the Albuquerque airport, with Ravyn's white convertible speedily following behind and Kyryn's motorbike riding flank alongside. Coyote's in the Commander's Seat, looking at all sides while speaking on his headset to his companions. Buick is still driving.**
Hey, all! We're hastily making our way toward the airport, to give everyone there some support. Here's hoping that it won't get too ugly. **turns below him** How's Jason doing, guys?
<"He's gonna be okay, I think." "Yeah, just stay away from his breath for a while.">
Oh ... kay ... I'll beg some more breath mints off of Ravyn when this is all over. **turns behind him** That okay with you, Rav?

Good. Final weapons check, everybody! And while we're doing that, make some replies, why don't I?

Well, IRL we're in the middle of whiteout conditions here in the middle of nowhere. There's a huge snowstorm passing through, coming from Chicago and passing over our heads, burying us in a nice cold shell. Right now, I wish I was somewhere around the southwest for real. :P
SOROW, OneEyedSquid: Welcome back, dude! Didn't miss too much around here, save everybody's boredom and/or holiday cheer/doldrums/depression. :)
Bleckeyed peas and boiled spinach: No thanks. Spinach and me don't agree, and I won't even tell you my old obscene Ohio State joke about buckeyes (okay, it's not mine per se, it's just really bad and obscene.).
Doug: From what I heard of your band, they're not bad. It's just ... ugh, those '50s cowboy costume uniforms have got to go! Not to disparage the band itself, I'm not, it's just whoever designed those uniforms should be drug out into the street and shot.
But it's good to have that kind of school spirit with you.
Ravyn: Like I told ya before, everybody needs their ego inflated every once in a while ... just happy to oblige, is all! :)
SOROW again: Quite personally, the funniest exchange is this one (everyone knows the visuals that go with this, don't blab!!):
"Bridge to Riker."
"This *really* isn't a good time!"
I was nearly ROTFLMAO at that scene!!
Argent, Ravyn again: Hmm ... if I recall right it was Jade and Turqueza who went to Avalon. And if you follow my fics (I know you do, Rav) ... you've probably figured out by now that my character Rain has some relation to the two Guatemalan clanmembers on Avalon ...
Just giving something to chew on there! :)
Princess Estra: Bienvenido a la casa de los locos! (roughly translated: WELCOME TO THE MADHOUSE!!)

FIRE!!
**The turret launches a 12-incher, deflecting debris away from Ravyn's car. Ravyn suddenly starts pointing forward frantically.**
What ... ?
**Coyote turns to see a troop of Spaarti clones jogging toward the tank, weapons raised. Coyote pulls out two weapons from underneath him ... a crossbow and a 12-gauge.**

Greetings. Haven't been in here in monthes. I don't like to come in unless I'm all caught up. But now I am. Maybe this time I'll stay caught up for more then a week.
Double Take: I liked this episode. Yes I think Puck and Demona were a little out of charicter. Puck wasn't as nearly off his rocker as he should have been, in my opinion. And, Alex or no alex, as soon as she got her into her house Demona should have decapitated her in seconds. I don't care how much she's reformed latley the Hunters have been her enimies for nearly 1000 years. She would have killed Robyn. But I still liked the ep. The scenes with Jackyl and Hayena were just so funny. Two Thumbs Up!
Reunions: Another great episode. Althoug I do agree with someone, can't remember who, that the Broadway Angala relationship is moving a bit too quickley. I loved the knew design for the Steel Clan and the Valkyrie looks even cooler. Coldsteel makes a great villian. It would be nice to see him come back more often. It's nice to see Xanatos hasn't gone completly good. Now that he's no longer sending the steelclan out to wreak havoc, he's selling them to the military so they can wreak havoc for him. Two Thumbs Up!
Demona: Is just me or does it seem like it was just yesterday she making a deadly virus capable of eradicating the entire human race. I think she's been taking one to many steps forward. I'd like to see her take one or two backwards. Not because, let's face it, she deserves it, but just to keep things more interesting.

Steve Gooch> First of all, I'd liked to say that you do have a cool looking name. Second, I do recall reading a couple of articles in Popular Mechanics talking about the new space probes ion engine. It can accelerate only about 60 m.p.h. in a day, however, after a few weeks, it will reach the top speed of over 22,000 m.p.h. Finally, I believe you are incorrect about the Army not being allowed to use fixed wing aircraft. I believe that the F-15E Eagle is used as an intercepter. And the A-10 II Warthog is a popular tank killer.

**RP ALERT**
The screen comes back on. The Onslaught is roaring into Albuquerque, and has just confronted the vanguard of Colonel Henson's troops. "They're all just a bunch of soldiers, tanks, jeeps, planes, copters, and other assault vehicles," says Keith, looking at the data readouts on the enemy attack (obtained through Lathrop's scrying crystal and Gubio's computer scanning the area). "No Borg, no giant Godzilla monsters, no Fundamentalist Extreme, just the soldiers and their vehicles. We may be in luck." "How many are there?" Cobra asks. "About five thousand, except for the two commanders all are Spaarti military clones," says Keith. "We may have a difficult time after all." Doug nods, "Great. Okay, everyone grab your weapons and get ready. We go out soon as I make some replies." He turns to face the CR.
**PAUSE RP**
Jeff Rovin: He also wrote the Encyclopedias of Monsters, Superheroes, and Supervillains. All have been valuable references for a fanfic writer like me. :)
Robby: You did get away with it, it's okay. BTW, how about posting a pic of yourself on the Web now that Heather's done one? Kitainia and I want to know if Heather's been lucky to get a guy with the looks as well as the personality (even if the latter is a lot more important).
Timedancer's being delayed? Darn it!! I was looking forward to the series so much! Oh well, I've been waiting all this time, I suppose I can wait a little more.
DumlaoX, Coyote: Thanks for your congratulations.
DumlaoX: Thanks for posting all those pics. I can hardly wait to use some with my CR postings.
Coyote: I don't know, I'm not really too interested on Texas football. Or football, or sports in general. I do follow the Houston Astros' baseball scores, and when my family or friends watches games I always observe the scores when I come in now and then. But you will not catch me watching a full football game. So I don't know about our band. I suppose they are pretty good, but not as good as the Aggies'. Oh well, at least we generally have better attitudes (IMO), academics, and sports teams in general. I think that counts more. <grin>
Theresa: Okay, am I spelling it right this time? Thanks for correcting me.
Vinnie: He hasn't shown up in TGS so far, but maybe he will eventually. I certainly hope so.
Background Characters: I like Goliath and Elisa, too, and would like to see more of them. However, one thing I've always liked about and thought central to Gargoyles is the fact that no characters are really just background. All get some attention and are developed to some degree. Some more than others, yes. But all the characters get concentrated on sometime, whether in the show or in fanfiction. Eps concentrating on characters, and character development, as well as action, have been my favorite ones and I think everyone else's as well. I agree that Goliath and Elisa are very important characters, but let's not forget everyone else is important to the saga, too. In the end, no one is insignificant.
Chinese New Year: I used to live in Taipei, where they celebrated that every year. Very very cool event. If anyone wants to celebrate it in here, please feel free to contact me. I still remember most of the practices.
Welcome back SOROW!!
That's all for now. Later!
**RP AGAIN**
Doug waves to his team and they all hop out of the truck fully armed and begin to engage Zale's forces. Using their guns, swords, bombs, magic, etc., the Ravens and their friends fight back against the Spaarti clone soldiers, who die as easily as normal humans even if they are made to be smarter, stronger, and with quicker reflexes. The first part of the army is soon eliminated and a path is cleared to the Albuquerque citizens also fighting them. The city police chief steps forward and asks Doug and his friends who they are. "Government Special Forces sent in to help," Janice says, flashing her ID card. "Where are the rest of the enemy?" "Half the force is attacking the airport," the chief replies. "Most of our forces are engaging them there, and in trouble. The other half is split into two groups. One you just destroyed. The other is spread out all over town, shooting our citizens and looting their property." "Okay," Doug nods. "Coyote, take Ravyn, Kyryn, and all your friends and theirs. Matthew, Ellie, you and my old Santa Fe pals go with them. You free the airport, we Ravens will drive our vehicles through town and handle the rest. Okay?" Coyote nods. "Let's move out." They do so as the screen goes blank. To be continued next time.

I kind of miss the 'we never leave the parade coverage' that the LA based stations use. They just superimpose images and a light voiceover. I intend to write a letter to ABC about the quality of their coverage. Not that I figure it'll do much good, but one never knows.

Happy New Year all! Whoo. Glad that's out of the system. Here we go.
Fave Eps: Season One - "Captive Pursuit"; Season Two - dunno yet, but "Offers" sticks out.
Resolutions: Just one I can think of, finish off all the stories I've been working on, or die trying.
Kitainia RE Jeff Rovin > Hmm, methinks I have that "Ultimate Guide to Nintendo Games Volume III" on the shelf somewhere... :)
Wilek > "Interesting name"? Which, mine or the newsgroup's? :) I considered the steel clan/ion engine idea a while ago, but rejected it mainly because the device NASA is developing works too slowly to be effective in atmosphere. It builds up tremendous speed, but has miniscule aceleration. There were a couple articles in Popular Science/Mechanincs a few months ago on this topic. Tim, you read it too much, right :) This sound familiar?
Tim > Homework? I wouldn't call it homework. I *like* it too much to consider it homework. Let's just say I've always been an enthusiast.
As for the infrared signiture of a SCR, I'd think it would be pretty sizeable; it would take quite a bit of thrust to lift, hover, and propel such a large, heavy robot. It would be helpful if somebody could come up with specifications for them (i.e. weight, construction, size (where's "Ask Greg" when ya need it:)) Any takers?
With that information we could probably figure out the likely method of propulsion. Personally I'd say some kind of rocket engine because I can't pick out intakes for a jet engine (eg turbojet/fan, ramjet, etc) and a jet engine wouldn't provide the kind of split-second vertical takeoffs portrayed so vividly in "Awakening Part 5." Perhaps the rocket fuel is also what causes those oh-so-spectacular explosions whenever a SCR flies into a wall :)
In that case, heat baffles may not be enough to significantly reduce the IR signiture anyway. Anybody know their effectiveness on rocket engines?
SJ RE Steel Clan/Iraq > Well, even though the US has a strict policy against assassination, what's to stop a couple of robots from going berserk and strafing some Baghdad bunker? Completely by accident, of course... :)
Coyote RE Key West > I think you're confusing branches here. The US Air Force operates B-1/B-2, and the Navy flies A-6 (well, not anymore). The Army doesn't operate fixed-wing attack aircraft, in accordance with the accords (does THAT sound redundant). Would Steel Clan robots violate that accord? Probably not. They're pilotless (do drones count?), they fire lasers instead of bullets (well, particle beams, but who's keeping track?), and the Army would probably get away with classing them as "Airmobile Automated Drones" or something.
Whew. That seems like enough for today.
(Btw, Tim, good luck w/ the USMC. Semper Fi!)

Shanuell (sp) - I TOTALLY agree with you ! Elisa and Goliath have been my favorite character since the beginning. I think we should another story with them as the main plot characters.
Wilek(sp) > I sure will tell you. The story alone is a like....4 or 5 pages.

When the next season of Dark Ages finally starts up, will it be called season 2, because it's the second season of that particular spin-off, or will it be called season 3 along woth the rest of the spin-offs, because it is the third season of TGS in general?

**RP!!**
**The screen lights up to reveal the tank, none the worse for wear, zooming down the highway behind the Onslaught. Coyote once again is in the Commander's Seat, with Buick driving.**
Hey, all! Boy, we had to rush to catch up with the guys, they left so abruptly, but we're up with them now, gaining fast.
<"Hey boss, better slow it down. Jason's about to lose his lunch down here!">
Well, that'll teach him to imbibe on Mexican tequila!
<"Yeah, but ... you don't have to sit in this tank with him, either.">
True ... Okay, Buick, we caught up with 'em, slow it down a bit so we can save our stomachs. And while you're powering down a bit, let's make some replies.
**END 1ST HALF RP!!**
Bands: Grrr ... Fox showed exactly thirty seconds of Texas' band, none of Mississippi State's, and some woman was gabbing over the music. Picture this ... Coyote stands before his TV, screaming "SHUT YER PIE HOLE!!!" at the stupid woman talking about football when they're supposed to be showing the band!!!
Well at least ABC was showing the bands at the Rose Bowl. Whether they do at the Sugar or not remains to be seen. Hopefully they do ... no offense to our resident U of T students, but I really like A&M's band (one of the last military college bands in the country; in order to join the band, you have to sign up for ROTC.).
Doug and Kitiania: I don't know why I didn't say this before *slaps forehead*, but congrats on the grades for the semester. Hopefully you'll match or improve them this coming semester.
Robby: Give me about a couple of months, and I might let ya start a WCC countdown ... barring any more RL crises.
DumlaoX: New blood? Coolies. **wrings hands mad-scientist style.**
Ravyn: Don't be jealous. Really. I'm sure your writing ability is up to the task ... can't wait to see *your* fics around these parts. :)
Heather: Kewl ... you will let us know their location when they're posted, right? (i.e. GFW, personal site, etc.)
Blue Moon: Only one thing to say about this topic ...
Arh!
Arh!
AAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
**composes self**
Well, what can I say? I *am* a coyote, after all.
**RESUME RP!!**
<"Boss, he's turning green!!">
Well, don't just sit there, bring him up so he doesn't mess up the tank!!
**The Gearhead pops open the hatch of the tank, hanging Jason out of it, head down toward the ground.**
Ohhh boy ... he doesn't look too good, does he?
<"Nope, he doesn't. That must have been some nasty tequila he got.">
Hmm ... **strokes chin** Hey, I've got an idea! **picks up radio* Hey, Charlie! When you get a chance, can you come over and take a look at Jason?
<"BZZT ... sure, Coyote. I'm coming over right now.">
Thanks. **turns to Jason** Hang in there, dude. The doc's coming.
**The rear doors of the Onslaught swing wide open as Charlie, the water buffalo man from the circus, leaps out and lands on the leading edge of the tank, clamping his meaty hands on any handhold he can find. He climbs up on the tank, coming over to where Jason is hanging as the screen winks off.**

Patrick in S8 said the last time there was no full moon in February was 1961 and the next time won't be til 2018. There are 13 full moon's a year due to a 29.5 day orbit of Luna around the earth. The date of Easter is based on the first full moon after the Spring Equinox. That's why that hanges so often. Also, at on point in the middle ages,
Easter was the start of the new year so some years were longer than others.

Hey everybody!! Boy, I've been gone for a while. Hmm..
Anyway, I just wanted to commend the writers on this weeks story. It was very cute. But I have to agree with the comment of another in this comment room. Goliath and Elisa are begining to seem to much like back ground chrarcters, and honestly they are two of the most important characters of the entire show. Anyway, I liked their scene. It was cute.
Bye now!

Happy NEW YEAR !
You guys like my picture ? Wow. ** blushes ** I'm in such a good mood. Robby and me have finished our first story together . It took us 3 days to write it !
I have to say it's around...50K maybe. I have just finished editting it and put it in HTML form.
** smiles at Robby and gives him a big hug ** I can't help it !
** she blushes in RL **
Right now I'm listening to the Backstreet Boys 'I'll Never Break Your Heart' . I don't know why I'm listening to it.
** sighs **
The story is going to be posted when after like after the new Gargoyles and TimeDancer stories are up and everyone has read them.
** gives an evily grin to Robby ** Maybe.

**Robby walks in, goes up to the Timedancer clock, lifts it off the wall, and pulls out the batteries, stopping the time traveling clock. He sighs. "Ah well, I can always resort to a Mulan video release countdown..."**
JALAPENA EVERYONE!!!
Lets see... Resolutions? Hmm, pretty much the same as what I posted in the other room...
1)Say "jalapena" every day.
2)Meet Heather in real life.
3)Attend Gathering 99
4)Get a Vinnie pic up in the other CR. (I'm not so determined about the cause in here, as Vinnie doesn't show up in the TGS, so having a picture of him in this CR would be kinda odd...)
5)Get all 20 or so of my fics up and to finish at least 30K of writing every week...

FYI January has two full moons. February has none. March has two full moons. When there are two full moons in a month, the second moon is known as a Blue Moon.
See you learned something new today. The day was not a total loss. (ducks)

Greetings World. May your New Year be all you wish it to be.
Doug it's spelled A-L-B-U-Q-U-E-R-Q-U-E. Please.
DulaoX I was on a friends computer and could see Elisa's name was missing the A. No big deal. I do so want a computer this year. On my list of things to do after Gathering 99.
Resolutions: Gathering 99. Find homes for the strays that keep gracing me with their presence. Loss a few pounds (the baclava did me in). Gathering 99 (opps I'm repeating myself). Finish some of my craft projects and not take on anymore til some are finished.

Want to see how pathetic the next round is? Check out my name link.
Y'know how our poll last week had over 1000 votes by the first day? This week's poll has been up for a full day, and they haven't hit 300 votes yet. Makes you wonder exacly the kind of person viewed either show, doesn't it? :)
Not to sound cocky, but methinks we have not much to worry about in the next round with either one, if their own fans care that little for them.

**Ravyn is sitting in front of a TV, vegging out and watching the Rose Parade. Suddenly, the parade broadcast is interrupted by a CNN special news update. Ravyn sits up straight and listens to the announcer.
<"...Currently, the city of Albuquerque is under attack by the forces of General Zale and a gargoyle known as Thailog...">
Ravyn jumps up and shouts, "Albuquerque? Under attack?!? I'd better go help!!!" She grabs the keys to her white convertible and takes off from Arizona on a road trip to Albuquerque.** **END RP FOR NOW**
Deuce> Sorry '98 was so rough for ya. Here's hoping that in '99 all your wishes will come true! :)
Coyote> Wonderful job on "Birthday!" You're so talented. I'm jealous. ;)
Firestorm & LM> Congratulations, you two! May everything be wonderful for you both in '99! :)
Hmm...New Year's Resolutions...Okay, here's some of mine:
---Finish up all those half-written fanfics I have lying around so that maybe you all could read 'em someday.
---Get a better idea of what I'm gonna do in life, like what college I'm going to and all that.
---Be nice to everyone. (hard, but I'm gonna try.) ;)
---Meet Shawn Michaels!
---Spend some more time with my cousin and all his wonderful friends. (especially Josh Pastner...mmm...) ;)
Whoa! I'm _really_ getting weird. ;)
**MORE RP!**

My most sincere apologies for last night's post. I was tired, depressed, and not thinking clearly (and no, I wasn't drunk... although maybe that would have helped).
DUMLAOX> Cool pics! You are aware that there are two pics of Future Tense Brooklyn (ftbrook.gif & brooklynft.gif)? And a TimeDancer delay? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO(etc.)OO!
OK, since we're posting our resolutions, I'll put mine up, too.
- I will no longer wish for impossible things (i.e., a plane ticket to Iowa, a girlfriend, an active social life).
- I will try to restrain myself from extreme emotional outbursts.
- I will finish my first long fanfic.
- I will finish my web site.
That's all I have for now, and I have a feeling I'll be plenty busy with just those. Seeya!

Sorry ... but it's great, they're showing the bands! Don't know how good they are ... Say Doug, how good is the Texas band? (I'm watching the Cotton Bowl)
A couple of quick things ...
Doug, Wilek: Glad ya liked the story. I wanted something great to end the year with, and I guess I delivered. Believe me, she'll be wanting to go back to that moment in about a month ...
Fire Storm/Lady Mystic: Just need to get our respective schedules straight, and then it might work out ... ;)
