Watching the Oscars now, they're on screenplay. So if they are the reason we're waiting, the competition is winding down. :) Oh, btw, I'm just watching the Oscars because of what Coyote said. I usually find them boring, especially since when they snub a really good movie like they did this year (Truman Show). The paper tomorrow will tell me who wins, I don't care. I just hope they're over shortly.

**Coyote enters, snuffing the now nearly-exhausted candle and putting up a new one, a green and white one reading "73-66." He lights the candle with his Zippo, placing a small stuffed Sparty next to the holder.**
*sigh* Well, I have to be at least somewhat happy, since MSU got into the Final Four, y'know.
Thanks to everyone for your comments on "The Army of the Night." Now I consider this an extremely long hiatus prime writing time for me to get WCC written.
Kitainia: My thanks for your continued support. You have no idea how much it means to me. And I'll send you the screenplay as soon as I finish this.
Robby: There are two versions of "Demolition Man," one by Grace Jones and the other by Sting (the movie remake).
Oh, and you remember that special request I gave ya this last week? Better cue it up. I've been feeling way too maudlin these last couple of days.

*DEATH* (Robby, I hope you don't mind, but you're in this one.)
It's a quiet moment in the CR, until the main door of the CR slowly opens and Fleur strides in. On the other side of the CR, Sli Sludge looks up, then moves to face her. They glare at each other for a long moment, and Robby, sensing the mood, puts on a appropriate song - the one uses in countless 'showdown' scenes in old westerns. The music slowly builds as Fleur and SS circle each other. Claws are nervously bitten, the alligators sink to the bottom of the moat, and the Tree tries to look as inconspicious as possible.
Fleur leaps at SS. He leaps at her. There is a long, painfully one-sided battle. Finally, when SS is little more than a green and red liquid, Fleur stops pounding him.
And there was much rejoicing by all. :)
*END UNEXPECTEDLY LONG DEATH*
Hi all!
Yes, I am finally feeling better! I crawled into bed on Friday night and didn't emerge until Monday morning - andI think that, combined with the get well vibes everyone has been sending me (THANK YOU SO MUCH!) have worked!! THE MONSTERS ARE RETREATING!! WE WIN!! WE WIN!!
SOROW> I'm sorry, but I forgot to say this before - GET WELL SOON! Whatever it is, I hope it's not as bad as it feels. And I really really hope you don't have to go to this drill team camp.
Something else I forgot> Welcome to Lady Melisander
Jaden> >I thought that swearing at the machine was the one true computer language.< Oh yeah. Forgot about that one. But you have to admit, physical violence gets a better response. Especially my version of 'reboot', which requires my father's steel-toed boots. :)
Coyote> *Fleur watches Coyote pining and sighs. Then she pulls out her cell phone, and a few minutes later, the delivery guys enter the CR again, carrying a large, very comfy-looking chair, which they place carefully by the candle.* I have a feeling you'll be spending a lot of time here, so I thought you might as well be comfortable.
Robby/Heather> congrats on your three month anniversary.
Demona Tania> The macarana/gargoyles song was great!! I was laughing my butt off! (not a good thing to do in the Physics computer labs- although it is a good way to mess with people's heads >:) )
Welcome Joey! Add me to the list.
Lexy> hehehe loved the 'What I'd like to see' list.
Welcome Tom!
Since the room's going to be cleared soon, I'll save the RP for later.

Tom> It's been pared down from 4 series, and check out last season's Gargs for Demona's life highlights.

Let me just say that everybody is doing a great job with this web site and I hope it goes into a 3rd series.
O.k. read the stories in this site but one thing still bothers me, how come there hasn't been anything about Demona's life on this earth for 1000 years because we ought to know something about that.
Gotto go!

Jaden- Ooh, rotten luck! I know how that feels. I'm a Vinnie clone after all.
Kitainia- Looking for the Demolition Man theme, but without an actual song title or artist or composer name, its not getting very far on my normal searches... If I can't find it before the room wipe, I probably ain't going to without more info.
Lexy- Your top ten list was fun! I especially liked numbers 3 and 8! But number 6 would be even more fun, if it was cut the same way Riker's was in Star Trek 9... And it gets even more twisted if Marina Sirtis' gargoyle character does the same thing she did in the movie as her ST character...
Also Lexy, its a little of all three things. The room is always slow on Sunday, but this week its been particularly slow a lot of the week for some reason, perhaps because of Spring Break.

We're at 75% out of 643,196 votes. (And Animaniacs only has 24%.) So far the highest tally at the end of a week was between Underdog and Daria, and that had 643,273 votes. We're less than a hundred away from record setting!

Coyote> I just finished "The Army of the Night". What can I say? I LOVED it! It's the best you've done yet. But Faeries? *Seri makes a pained face and pulls her arm almost out of Wavers' grasp* Just wait. We're going to get you iron and silver next. *Seri calms down, a little* But at least now I see why some of Alex's recruits are on the Rokkan side. :)

I got overruled on the castle thing. :( It's not a bit like Wyvern, except the turrets. But it still looks good.
Joey> I'm an actress as well as a set designer. We should talk. *wonders how much internal structure it would take for a modern building to hold garg statues*
*Seri pokes Wavers, eager to get going* Later, guys! Got RPing and work to do, then more set work this afternoon. *Seri pulls Wavers from the room*

Hello, CR!!!
Did you like the song? I just came in here and thought: "What about a little song to motivate people to vote"? And that's when the song came to my head. (Me and my imagination!) To tell you the truth, I made the filks in less than ten minutes. I just wrote, and it rhymed! And I'm not kidding! It's the whole truth! [looks around] Don't tell this to anybody... but I sing in the bathroom. [blushes] Well, who doesn't!

Yes, I am still alive. I have my post ready, but since it's less than 24 hours until the room is wiped, I'm posting after the room wipe. As for you two (Doug and Kitainia), see I have my spring break starting the 31st, so that means I've been quite busy and shall continue to be quite busy for some time to come....As for today, I had alot of running around to do and I *JUST* got home from a 5 1/2 hour long StarCraft game. (5 computer against me and a friend. Oh yes we crazy.>:)) We won if anyone's interested. The combined death toll was over something like 5,000 units. Anyway, I appreciate the pokeing and prodding from you two but lately I just don't have the time for any posting except for possibily the weekend. One thing before I go, I wouldn't get *TOO* close to NORAD if I were you...>:))

$ Traveler: Okay, fine, post whenever you want. We'll go on without you. Just so you know, though, Doug and I would like for you to handle your character's interrogation. Please do it as soon as you can, we will take the action ahead while we wait. $
**RP HERE**
The Ravens have arrived back at the hotel, and Doug and Kitainia are in their room. Doug is on the phone with DumlaoX, arranging for him to become their supplier now that Gubio has checked DumlaoX out and found him to be more trustworthy than the demon lord Gothemenes was. An invisible pink imp watches from the shadows of the room, looking very worried. "The master won't like this," it whispers to itself. "The master won't like this at all." Kitainia hears the whispers and wonders if she's hearing things, then shrugs and turns to make a post.
**PAUSE RP**
Robby: Thanks for posting all the great pictures. I like the Brooklyn and Demona one, too, and the Elisa-goyle one is very cute. In answer to your question about who types when we both post, it's whoever's name comes first at the bottom. Sometimes Doug and I have things we both want to say, mutual feelings, you know. A post from both of us lets us say them and saves space while making the statements more profound. That's why we do it. Thanks also for posting the recent great songs (T2 and Taking Care of Business); I have a request. Can you find the theme from Demolition Man? Thanks for trying, no matter the result. :)
Kaioto: Yeah, but a lot of the Republicans want to mold the world to their own image. At least that's the idea I get from some of them. Like Pat Buchanan or Starr. Others are willing to sell out to special interests just to get ahead in the polls, like Trent Lott. Others, like Bob Smith, are to me REALLY annoying. Overall the party seems too critical of humanity, too unable to accept that in this world you have to take the bad with the good if you want to survive without going completely insane. That's why I don't like the GOP, to me they seem too selfish, too controlling, too intolerant. The Dems have their bad points, yeah, but they're more in line with my way of thinking. That's why I usually vote for them. No offense to any Republicans in here, of course.
**BEGIN COMMENTS ON AND SPOILERS FOR THE NEW TIMEDANCER EP**
This latest episode was really neat. Good job on it, TGS Staff! I liked all the development on Brooklyn and Sata, and I could really feel the emotions coming off Morgana and Glyndwyr. Excellent plot, terrific pics, superb imagery. Thanks so much for the entertainment. I would say more, but it's all already been said. Hope that on future fics you continue to do such a good job.
**SPOILERS/COMMENTS ON THIS OVER NOW**
$ Wilek: I don't think we need help with Borgzilla anymore, thanks for offering. For answers to your other RP questions, see the bit at the end of this post. $
Mandi: Doug and I have finished our papers now, thanks for the wishes of good luck!
JEB: Sounds like you made some great stuff. I'll check it out shortly, now that I have the time again. :)
Ravyn: If you're reading this, I just want you to know we still miss you and are continuing our prayers. Hope your parents are paying attention to the e-mails we've been sending and that you can soon come back. <sniff>
**BEGIN SPOILER/REVIEW OF FORCES OF NATURE**
Forces of Nature: Just saw this movie a couple days ago, and thought it was okay. I didn't like a lot of the plot or the jokes, and it was a little too anti-marriage. But the development on the three leads was good, and the end was really beautiful, so that made up for it. Ben's wedding vows went into my quote book. But other than the great charecterization and the ending, this movie got a BLEAH from me. Would have been better if when that guy Steve was coming on to Bridget, she would have thrown her drink in his face and kicked him in the you-know-where. That's what I would have done. The movie also needed a good fight, too bad there wasn't one. Oh well, it had its moments. Parts of it were good. Now I'm looking forward to seeing "The Matrix" next week, that movie looks really cool.
**THIS REVIEW/SPOILERS END, BEGIN ONES FOR COYOTE'S LATEST**
Coyote: Hey man, don't let your loss get you down. If she loves you half as much as you love her (and we all know Ravyn's the kind of person who does), she will come back to you. You'll survive this crisis, I know you will. So will your love. Doug and I pray for it. <grin> Now about your latest fic, thanks for the entertainment. It's good to see you can still do a great job on writing even with all the emotional hardship you're going through right now. Great character development on Rosanna, Puck, Demona, and especially Alex. I liked the scenes with him learning and casting the summoning spell. Cool plot in this story, too, and I'm glad you still have Thorn in action. The Sisters are also good new bad guys. As for Samson, it looks like his condition's worsening. I hope he turns out okay. And of course I can't wait for WCC. Keep up the good work, Coyote, I will be anticipating the next fics you put out (and my part in them). Congrats on your taxes and the new scanner, hope you soon put it to good use. Oh, btw, I also read and enjoyed your bando script.
**THESE SPOILERS/COMMENTS END**
DumlaoX: $ You're welcome. Don't worry, Doug and I will be using your character as much as we can in bits to come. BTW, if you want to come in and do some RP at any time, feel free. You don't need our permission to do it, the only reason we're harassing Traveler is we're going nuts with anticipation over what he's going to do next. <grin> Really, you're a part of the RP story as much as we are, even more considering that you provide the CR. Feel free to come in anytime you wish, friend. We'll be happy to welcome you. :) $
Joey: Thanks again for sharing your plans, good luck with them. Glad at least one person at Dinsey is on our side. I may also be going to see your movie, can you share what it's about?
The Crow: I've watched a few eps of that show. It's kinda interesting. There are better supernatural shows on TV, though, IMO. Buffy, X-Files, and Brimstone come to mind.
Okay, I'm too tired to say more now. Be back later, after the room's cleared. Hopefully Traveler will have posted by then. <fingers crossed> Later!
**BACK TO RP**
Doug hangs up the phone and smiles. "We have a new supplier," he says. "Good," Kitainia nods as Gubio rushes in, a shocked and worried expression on his face. "Doug!" he calls. "Kitainia! We just got this message from Wilek, you better read it!" Doug takes the sheet of paper Gubio hands him and looks at it, Kitainia glancing over his shoulder. They both soon get similar expressions to the one Gubio has. "Thailog is planning to attack NORAD?" Doug asks, looking at the message. "This is not good," says Kitainia. "Not good at all. With NORAD's missiles, and its technology, he could start World War 3." "We have to stop him," Doug vows. "It looks like Wilek is already putting his forces in place to help, that's good. Gubio, send Wilek a reply. Tell him we're heading back to Colorado Springs to counter this planned offensive. We'll meet him in the city, at a resturant called Red Robin. Okay?" "Yeah, fine," Gubio nods. "We'll do that. What about his offer to upgrade the Onslaught?" "Tell him we'll think about it. I'm not sure Borg technology will work as well against Thailog and the Phalanx as Wilek's hoping, and right now I think our truck-mech may be powerful enough." Gubio nods, then turns and leaves. Kitainia picks up the room's phone and calls Janice, telling her what's just happened. "You're still talking to Traveler?" she asks, Janice responding in the affirmative. "Okay," Kitainia tells her, "you better hurry up. We're gonna start packing for the trip to NORAD. If necessary, we'll bring Traveler along as a prisoner, but if you can, please get through with him before we have to leave. Okay, Janice, thanks. Later." She hangs up and looks at Doug, who is taking out their suitcases and putting stuff inside. "I hope we get there in time." "Me too," Doug agrees with her. "We can't let Thailog win this, Kit. No way, no how. We have to stop him." Kitania nods. "Don't worry, Doug. I'm sure we will."

MIRROR! MIRROR ON THE WALL! IS THE TRAVELER NEAR OR FAR?
Joey-That sounds soooooo cool!
Has anyone seen that TV show "The Crow" it's very good in my opinion, but for some unknown reason something is always trying to keep me from seeing it. Like today for example the security officers who was going to relieve me never showed up so I had to wait for a replacement and do you know what? He arrived right around the time that the show ended. The has been happening to me all month! And it is really beginning to tick me OFF!!!!

Robby: Yeah, but we kinda wanted to react to his whole relationship with the Marsh corporation, the interrogation, you know. When a guy tells you he's gonna do something, and then you wait and wait and wait and he still hasn't done it...well, you kinda lose trust in the guy, know what I mean? We're worried about Traveler, and we're having trouble thinking up what to do besides react to his revelations. But you have a point. It's his problem, not ours. If the guy can't post or he's not doing it for whatever reason, we shouldn't have to be held up by him. So we'll give Traveler till midnight by the CR clock. By then hopefully he will have posted. If not, we'll be moving on without him. <sigh> Thanks for your support.

Tom Petty's The Waiting doesn't seem to have a Midi in any of the 12 sites I use. Free Falling, Last Dance With Mary Jane, Learning to Fly, Into the Great Wide Open, Dont Come Around Here No More, Won't Back Down... Those are on most of them, but the Waiting? No go, sorry. But here's a reasonable substitute I think. "Taking care Of Buisness"...

**RP TOMORROW, PERHAPS. ANOTHER SLOW DAY...**
Robby> <<Not bad for immoral bots who cheat and make the contest worthless except to determine enthusiasm...>> Determining enthusiasm is the real purpose for the contest anyhow--the best show is the one with the most devoted fandom. And guess who that is. :) <<This is almost an all time lull...>> Maybe it's because everyone's on spring break. Besides, most of the Internet seems to be on a similar lull; a lot of my favorite sites haven't been updated in a *long* time.
Christine> <<my condolences...>> And what made you think I didn't enjoy it? :P And I agree--why didn't they ever let the rabbit have the blasted cereal anyhow?
Gabriel> Hm...I've never been in a chat room myself, so I'm not of much help here...
Demona Taina> Kewl filks! How long did it take you to write those anyhow? I'm really bad at songs and such...
Just a thought> I happened to see an ep of Dr. Katz, mostly because it came on at a time when I had little else to do. I couldn't watch the whole thing; it's the most brain-damaged nonsense I've ever been exposed to. Ecch.
Coyote> 'Army Of The Night' was *excellent*; quite possibly your best work yet! :D

Spring ... when a young man's fancy is supposed to turn to affairs of the heart ... *sigh* **replaces candle, lights the new one**
Mary Flanders: Actually, I've had thoughts about clanmembers being musicians.
Blue Caeru: From one college withrawee to another ... I feel your pain, my friend. Nobody could have told me when I started college in '93 that I wouldn't graduate after four and a half years, and would in the meantime run out of money, become disillusioned with my chosen field of study, not to mention have my heart ripped out of my ribcage and stomped into a bloody pulp ... and no, this does *not* refer to Ravyn. So believe me when I say, Blue, that I've been where you are ... in fact I'm still there ... and if you *do* manage to get back in, I'll be behind ya all the way. **hugs**
Demona Taina: Nice songs. But I think I have a better one ...
New fic: Please indulge me ...
"So sign up all you raw recruits
Throw away those designer suits
You've got your weapons cocked, your targets in your sights
"There's a party raging somewhere in the world
You've got to serve your country, gotta service your girl
You're all enlisted in *The Army of the Night!*"
Yep, Volume #35 is up, the last one I'll post until WCC in June. Click on my name link to see the Army of the Night assembled at last! (and check out the surprise WCC cameo)

Gargs are at 72%, from a total of 475,545 votes. This is gonna be a record setter if it keeps up at this rate, and will probably hit millions range...
In other news, Cartoon Network picked the three greatest cartoon shorts of all time to include "What's Opera, Doc?" (Kill the wabbit!) the one with Michigan J. Frog, and the one where Daffy is dealing with a screwy animator. (Namely Bugs.) Good choices, and I was fairly surprised. only one Cartoon Network original made it to the top 50. (And it was one of their best ones.) So they weren't biased in their decisions... Nice. Of course, none of their top 50 were Disney, because of legalities... Ah well...

Now which room seems to be dying? Only 4 or so posts since my last one 7 hours ago... And only about 30 in the last day... This is almost an all time lull... ***SPOILER THAT RELATES TO "IMMORTAL BELOVED" BY DYLAN BLACQUIERE!***
Coyote> Thank you very much for the info. I read in one of those two eps that Brooklyn tried to commit suicide and I wanted to know how and why. I finally found it, read it, and I must admit afterwards I was shaking! Just the whole scene with Brooklyn lying in his own blood is so disturbing. And poor Lex, I almost wanted to cry. But thanks again for the help!

I get rerun commercials as well. Its the lack of new ones that disturb me. Outside of Michael Jordan and the Looney Tunes gang for a certain phone company, we just aren't getting any here.
Why are we talking about this? We're really, really bored and no one else has brought a new topic to front.

Hey everyone. Well, things are _almost_ fixed... I'm going to withdraw completely this semester, then re-enter during the summer. I might have to pay back part of my loan, and I'll probably lose that state scholarhsip, but I can get it again the following academic year if my GPA is high enough. Once the details are cleared up, I'll be free to just chill out for a little over a month. *sigh* I guess that's a good thing, having time to build up my strength and stuff, but I had this strange dream last night where it took me like 7 years to graduate with my BA. Gee, I hope it's not a sign! But really, I don't know what I'm going to major in yet. I just hope it doesn't take me _too_ long to figure out what I want to do. Thanks again for all your help.
Hmm, things have been kinda slow here lately... anyway, I hope the new TGS ep will be up on time this week. I happen to like reading it in the middle of the night, just freshly posted. :-)

Guess what I'm doing right now. Designing a castle set for our school's production of 'Cinderella'. I want to put up Castle Wyvern, but it would be hard fitting a cliff and the ocean or the Aerie building into the auditorium. So I'm settling for the parapets' design with girly flags. Wish me luck, and if any of you are near Dallas, PA, come see our show!

Hello everyone. Anyone here remember Christine's Night Of The Nut People? I think I had something vaguely like that today. It all started when, inspired by our recent Dr. Who discussion, I happened to type 'Daleks' into a search engine. Soon enough, I tripped over a site that happened to be showcasing a fan-created Dalek variant, the Spider Dalek. Needless to say, I was more than a little intrigued, and I began browsing Dr. Who links pages. I eventually came upon...the Dalek Resource WebHome (click my name). Apparently, Daleks are well-loved by those who are into 3D modeling and rendering; not only have rendering enthusiasts taken to creating normal Daleks, but all manner of variants. Now...the madness began. I began hunting down and downloading pics of every type of Dalek I could get my claws on. Crawling Daleks, swimming Daleks, tank Daleks, angel Daleks, I just couldn't stop; I even had to make a whole new folder on my hard disk to make room for the darn things! It would appear that I am now the room's resident Dalek stalker. <g> Christine had her Night Of The Nut Ppl...and I have my DAY OF THE DALEKS! <maniacal laughter> EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE! <thwap> Ow! Thanks, I needed that...
Deuce> Hm, if it's such a pain, perhaps I'd better steer clear...But thanks anyhow. :) Oh, and great poem. I'm trying to do one myself, but I'm stuck on the third line...
DumlaoX> Hm...does this Radio function work like Shoutcast (I think that's what it's called) or MP3Spy? If it does, I have a *great* station for it...
Aaron> You mean, Fox made new eps of Dr. Who...?
The Voting> <sigh> It was hard...but I have my loyalties. Fun as they are, the Animaniacs must fall before the Greater Glory of Gargs! EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE! <thwap> Ow! Thanks.
Robby> Hm...your mascot worries may be more serious than you seem to think; something tells me this bodes ill for conventional animation...
Mary> <<Does anyone have any fantasies of what members of the clan could do?>> Um...Get abducted by aliens (Daleks?). Broadway would deplete their food reserves, Lex would hijack the UFO and fly it himself, and Brook...<zzt> Ow. <zzt> Ow. <zzt> Ow. <zzt> Ow...

Maybe someone can help me. When I first found sites about gargs on the Internet, I did a lot of exploring. I came across one series and saved two of the stories to my computer. I forgot about them and finally read them last night, but I erased them before I could read the author's name. I know that the titles were "A Gargoyle Went A Courtin' " and "Brooklyn's Wedding." He got married to some chick named Carb. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, please tell me or recommend a search site for gargs where I could find it. Thanks!

Just saw something disturbing. Sonny, the bird who's cucoo for Cocoa Puffs has been replaces by a live chimp named Cocoa. That is not right. In fact, all the cereal mascots seem to have disappeared. The Sugar Bear of Golden Crisp fame dissapeared years ago, as did Count Chocula and his group. Lucky the Frosted Lucky Charms Leprechan? He may still be around, but I haven't seen him in a while. Snap, Crackle, and Pop were actually in a commercial the other day, like their first in six months, with new voices. Again. The three bakers for cinamon toast crunch were parred down to one years ago, and now even he seems to be gone. Pebbles still have Fred and Barney, unfortunatley... Cookie Crisp lost the criminal when the dog Chip became more popular, and the police office shortly after when they tried to give Chip a good guy image. Tucan Sam of Froot Loops, (I remember when the logo only had three different colors in it, and now they've added an exclamation mark to include all five flavors...) still seems to be going, but his commercials are few and far between, and they've been rather surreal lately. Captain Crunch now only makes cameos, and Tony the Tiger... Well, Tony's always been the coolest mascot, and he's still around, but not as often as he should be. What has happened to all the cereal mascots? Is it just a decline in the popularity of animation? Are the many years old mascots starting not to sell anymore? Or is just the matter of a live action chiwawa speaking Spanish sells more than they ever did? In any case, its bad tidings for animated characters...
Dang, am I stuck for something to talk about or what?

Please pardon this shameless plugging, but I keep forgetting ...
As I'm sure I've mentioned in here numerous times, I'm aspiring to be a screenwriter.
**loud yells of "Yeah, Coyote, we've heard it before."**
Well, okay. Anyway, if you're interested (and I mean *really* interested) to see what kind of screenplay I can write ... I happened today to find one on a disk entitled "The Summer Bugles" that I wrote based on a short story I wrote for a class in college. It's not fantasy, nor sci-fi in any aspect ... but if anyone's interested in seeing what the secret lives of bandos are like, let me know and I'll send ya a copy. One of these days, I'm planning on registering it with the Writer's Guild (East, more than likely, since they offer screenplay registration over the Web.).
Okay, I'll leave now. **looks at candle** Or maybe not. **sits back down, chin in hand, gaze on the flame, and ... you guessed it ... pines more for Ravyn.**

Gargs is ahead by 60%, with a grand (meaningless) total of 171,367 votes cast in less than one day. Already we've passed the grand total we had against Ren and Stimpy after a week, and the grand total Animaniacs had against Doug after a whole week. Of course, Tick and Underdog had grand totals of 359,330 and 643,273 by the end of their week. Whats this mean? If we win this round we'll be up against some stiff cheating in two weeks. At least with Doug against Superfriends, and it's meager 1560 votes, or Speed Racer vs. Fat Albert with 1369 votes, you know there was probably actual voting going on...
What was the point of recapping this? None really, but the room hasn't said much at all today so I had nothing better to talk about.

Yeah, the daleks are cool. But I'm gonna have to disagree with them having inspired the borg. I think the Cybermen inspired the borg.
The Master was always a great character, whatever Doctor he went up against. My favorite was Survival, when he was morphing into a werecheetah.
I really wish Fox hadn't acquired the rights to Dr. Who. Did anyone watch that travesty they put on. It was worse then the Goliath Chronicals.

Hey, who in here said they were working on a Pokemon story a couple of weeks ago?
And now, for your reading pleasure:
SLI SLUDGES 1st OFFICIAL PUNISHMENT!
(Argent puts on one of those protective radioactive suits, [which has also been modified with ice and fire proofing.] then sneaks up to where Mr. DC and SS are conversing in suspicious sounding tones. Mr. DC turns an interesting shade of white when he spots the vengeful draco trainer.)
"I didn't do it!"
(Argent arches an eyebrow.)
"Well, someone's suffering from a guilty conscience. While YOU have been behaving yourself, your buddy here's in trouble."
(Sli Sludge looks at Argent.)
"And you are?"
"Argent. The one you seem to take such a delight in by making me sick on holidays. The one you gave pnemonia to on Thanksgiving TWICE?"
(SS is starting to look noticably uncomfortable. Argent smirks.)
"I thought that would refresh your memory." (Quick as a flash, he finds himself in a bone lock.) Oh, allow me to introduce you to my friend." (Jewel*D strides in at half her full size.)
"And now that I'm feeling better, and on behalf of all the other sick posters: Jewel*D! Scorch 'im!"
(Waves of flame temporarily block the screen. When they clear, SS is charcoal.)
NOW I feel MUCH better!
Gotta Jet!
(And until I hear otherwise, it's STILL six months 'till the new 'Dark Ages' eps.)

Latest TD ep- Still haven't had a chance to read this weeks. Instead I've been proofing one that comes about 9 weeks from now. Oii.
Role Playing games- Ah geez, the TMNT one! I'd forgotten all about that! that sucker is up in my attic someplace... I may have to go off and drag it out this weekend...
Relationships from fandom- Oh gee, I gotta agree here. It would be immpossible to have a relationship with someone who wasn't a fan of the stuff I like, or at least a fan of something. I have several friends who don't get it, but my closest buddies that I make it a point to stay in contact with do. And Heather is another matter entirely... Lucky me, we enjoy many of the same things... (For the record, we just finished off month number three yesterday...)
Daleks- Face it, those guys inspired the Borg. Personally, they scared the spit out of me when I was younger, because they weren't a guy in a costume. Well, they were, but you couldn't tell because they had no arms or legs... Personally, I always liked the Master, especially against Doctor number 3. (Jon Pertwee)
You know you're suffering from Gargoyle withdrawl when... Um, I usually only suffer side effects after an overdose... When it happens, I get all sorts of funky dreams. Whats really bad, is playing an video game so much in one day, you can still see it when you close your eyes. Its happened to me with Secret of Mana, and Tetris. Scary game, Tetris.
What do non-fan people do with their time- Um,sports I think.
Wavelength- "You know about the hatching? But Sata isn't even pregnant yet!" I said it before, but to be more accurate, I have a vauge idea of the hatching, I was thinking of the laying. Won't be a pleasant experiance for Brooklyn. (Insert evil laugh reminiscent of something Lonny would do.) And as far as Sata not being pregnant yet... How do you know she isn't?
People wanting feedback- I read your stories, but to be honest, I only skim them... I just don't have time to read every piece of fanfic like I used to! I'd gotten up to past 300, well on my way to reading every piece of garg fanfic on the net, and now I have writing obligations to four different series! Ah well... In short, I don't send mail, because I only skimm. Usually pretty good stuff though...
Now, this time around I've linked a pic that EVERYONE likes... And next time around, I'm going to link one of my absolute favorite stills... Anyone care to take a guess at what it is?

**Coyote enters the room. Dis Connect backs away from him slowly.**
Don't worry, Dis, I have something for ya. Sorry about last night.
**Dis nods slowly as Coyote hands him his peace offering ... a nine inch long Cuban cigar. Dis grins greedily, biting off the end and securely sticking it in his mouth as Coyote reaches for his Zippo.**
Here ... have a light.
**Coyote lights the cigar, ducking behind the table quickly. Dis takes a couple puffs off the cigar ... which suddenly EXPLODES, leaving Dis minus the entire top half of his body. Coyote cautiously stands up by the table, performing his nightly ritual of changing the candle.**
And THAT'S for driving that damn backhoe into my ISP's T1 connection and keeping 'em down for SIX HOURS!!
**composes self**
Sorry. But it's aggravating when an errant piece of heavy construction machinery knocks out yer entire ISP for half a day. **sigh** Oh well.
Kitainia: Thanks for the answers. You're right about the last one, luck has to have played a *huge* role in getting you two together ... **sighs, plants chin in hand and pines for Ravyn some more**
SOROW: You're quite welcome.
Stormy: I don't need mind-altering drugs, either. I've got genetic weirdness from my mother's side. :)
Seriously, though, the heaviest stuff I've ever been on was a prescription for codeine I had once. Didn't do much to me, though ... then again, this is the same guy who gets put to sleep by caffeine.
Lady Mel: As you should feel welcome. We always make everyone feel welcome!
Kaioto: Which CCG's? Any INWO in there? (Please say yes ...)
JEB: Closest I ever got to an RPG was *one* game of Paranoia I tried. Too strange for my taste ... though I do have one of the original D&D sets around here somewhere ... probably in the same netherrealm
