Happy birthday Revel.
Imzadi - Did you get the card I sent you from Dilbert.com? <Okay time to crash. I may now consume alcohol.> *Makes note if attending gathering to always personally watch every glass poured to himself to ensure safety* While I was on a trip once, I heard about someone tampering with someone else's drink before to make the person throw up and visit the restroom frequently.
ghost of Reverend Attila - Please come by more often.
Silverbolt - <*waits for next part of time dancer*> It will come.
Fire Storm - You inspired me: PPV Border Patrol with Mexico. Let's see if the illegals can cross the border and surive.
Sorry, but I believe in Americans first.
Fire Storm - <Well, Sci-Fi complained that not enough people were watching their other programs, so I say when Farscape ends, boycott the channel.> Wait a minute: I thought Sci-Fi Channel surived because it was niche marketing for advertisers in the same manner as the Food Network surives because of niche marketing.
Renee - <How do you people keep your responses to one another straight?? Is it some special super power that I don't know about? I'm so confused.> My answer: Scroll the CR and remember who I have replied to and keep tacking things to that section.
Spacebabie - <Well now you just gave me that Idea BEG> Go ahead and make my day. I'm fair game for that because I know some of the responses.
Ravyn - <Ah, how I miss the old silly RP's> So do I.

Had a nice birthday, I went home and got to relax for a bit. I didn't want a cake, because I knew my brother would end up getting most of it so I had birthday donuts instead.
Got a book I had wanted and some neat little nick nacks, mostly money that will go to buying canvas and stuff. Thank you everyone for the birthday well wishes.
Spacebabie- *blinks and smiles like a dope* I'll have to admit I like the kiss better than the dancing girls, thanks ^_^
I have a biology test tomorrow so study time is in order.

Back again! Anyone going to the gathering in June? My friend and I (she's a garg fan, but she doesn't have toon disney. I was the one that hooked her) are going for the 1st time! Can any of you give me a little overview at one goes on? It'll help prepare me so I won't be so darn nervous when I meet you all (WARNING: I AM A BIG TALKER IF YOU GET ME GOING). I've never been to NYC before. Is it scary? The only real big city I've been through (not driving, anyway) is Boston, and that's a great city. Let's go there for 2004! (just a suggestion, but it would be fun!)
Anyway, my cheetah image is about to chase me at top speeds if I don't cease this post immediatly.

I'm back! I've been updating my site and got a new layout (and updated the rest of my sites). That new layout took forever. But it's beautiful! (Yeah, I'm full of myself, I know. I'm half French, and I got the arrogance to boot. Blame my parents. They are the ones responible for my genetic make-up)
Anyhoo, how do you all feel about getting maried at 18? One of my good friends did just yesterday. Her man is 22. Even though they are really in love, and everyone truely thinks they are soulmates, I'm worried. I don't want her to get hurt by breaking up later. And whatever happened to the line is weddings? You know, the "speak now or forever hold your peace"? they didn't say it at hers. It was a gorgeous wedding though. A lot of people sang (her mom has a wonderfull voice!). And she was soo pretty!
Anyway, I'm going to step off the soapbox now. And (please) go to my site before I taunt you!

Silverbolt:<<the third Monkey Island>> There's a third? I remember playing the first one when they still made games for AMIGA. I could never figure out how to get past the "voyage" chapter where my "crew" is out sunbathing on the deck.
Spacebabie:<<there is going to be a diet version of Vanilla coke coming out in October>>I don't have high expectations<<a little brother of a friend of his who some how got the stuff on his balls>>WARNING: ICY-HOT is NOT like Vasteline! But is it REALLY a bad idea?

The only thing that peeved me last night was that the guys running the Battletech software couldn't get my callsign right. Its "IMZADI" not "IM ZADI" or "INZADI". Don't these dorks read star trek books? Everyone at Virtual World knew what it was.
I came in 4th out of the 5 of us most matches except one race where I got first...playing conservatively is your friend.
Managed to remain mildly productive today and get a bunch of work done. Sadly, none of that work is due early in the week.
Barracuda: <<with yet another tower added to the Skynet of all Macintosh computers>>: If I could have afforded one, I would have bought that shiny new 23" flat panel instead. Now THAT would have been sweet. <<destined to someday betray its master and take over the continental United States>>: doubtful. There are far more powerful and organized Mac systems out there than mine. <<Grow a beard and they won't bother you at the door>>: Yeah, I shaved the night before...I had 6th days worth of very scraggly growth. <<Did they have to carry you home afterwards>>: No...in fact nothing appeared the least bit blurry. <<Too bad you didn't live in Canada, you could have drinking since the tender age of 19>>: When I was there last summer I drank a bit. Some of that stuff you guys serve up there is pretty good. <<Maybe this is why my country has twice the number of underage automobile accidents with one half the population>>: Or maybe Canadians just can't drive?
Mooncat: <<he said they were Porportional -- translation, well equipped>>: Actually, that's not what that necessarily means. Proportional to what? The David? The average male human? A flea? Also, what looks "proportional" may be subject to the artists limited experience/imagination/porn viewing. <<I like the kind that are pretty and come in exotic cups>>: Eh, its a drink. <<They appreciate humans with built in shelfs>>: Its hard for them to stay on when you walk around ;-)
Spacebabie: <<There are a lot of Bulimic Americans>>: Yes I know that. The point was that its being incredibly wasteful of what you have when there are millions who long for it.
Melissa: DIE. No one wants to chat with you. Ever. You smell.
Fire Storm: <<Pay-per-view Lifer Death Match>>: Methinks this idea was stolen from George Carlin.
Heather: <<I"ll let Imzadi handle them>>: Much obliged.
Sevarius: You will be sorely missed. I read your LJ and I will be in touch. <<Except that I never got to meet SOROW or JackaL, because I figure if I couldn’t have gotten any sex off the former, I probably could off the latter>>: Perhaps, but why would you want to? You could still come to Gathering, she may show up. <<It’s not gay if you don’t make eye contact>>: Well then Jimmy Norton isn't very bright. <<with a closing that some of you didn’t understand last time>>: You lost them with the spelling.
Gunjack: <<I can't decide whether to light a candle, or sing "ding dong the witch is dead">>: Well, since he isn't dead (and I'd wager he'll be lurking from time to time), I wouldn't say anything too nice or too mean ;-)
Gside: <<Happy birthday Imzadi>>: Thanks. <<you could always move to cooler climes. Like, say, Jersey>>: Yeah, but why would she want to? <<You didn't have a screaming orgasm>>: Not yesterday, no.
Leo: <<who will take your place, IMPFAC>>: That's not funny.
Lynati: <<I'll have to start thinking up my own insults now, and they'll nver be half as great as yours>>: We can try to one-up each other on insulting other people if you wish...at some point we'll reach Dennis Miller-ness.
Rev Attila: <<I was a bad kitty so I'm in Hell. I'm actually in the lowest plane of Hell, Detroit. It's even lower than Cleveland>>: Ah, yes. Unbaptized Children, Sinners of Love/Lust, Betrayers of Jesus...Detroit. <<Take a trip to Austin to visit SOROW and look for Doug and Kit>>: The first I'd agree with. The second may be impossible. <<I figured words like k---, n-----, s---, and f-- were unnaceptable, but not towel head, raghead, or camel lover>>: Camel lover could describe many, many groups of people ;-)
You’re going to die very badly.

SJ> Ah, I'm sorry to see you go. You make teh CR lively, but well I guess you have better things to do. Take a trip to Austin to visit SOROW and look for Doug and Kit. Jackal is in suburban Atlanta, which is even closer. Sneak off from your next family reunion.
Spacebabie> I post, but the interent time I get in Kitty Hell is not long.
Happy Birthday to Imzadi and Revel.
Mooncat> I am glad you like Tuxedo Bob. Down in Hell, I an't hit on any women, since they turn into Janet Reno if I get too close.
Aaron> <<Not so. I would ban anybody if they did something egregious enough, even you.>> Even me?
Aris> I never thought of towel head as that harsh an insult, compared to sand n-----. Plus I guess limey, kraut, frog, squarehead, and redneck are also insulting. I figured words like k---, n-----, s---, and f-- were unnaceptable, but not towel head, raghead, or camel lover.
Spacebabie> I'll apply some talcum powder, but I can't because I'm in cat hell :(
Now I'm off as the internet will not be shut off in Detroit, the lowest plane of Hell. In Cleveland you get another half hour.

Renée> <<How do you people keep your responses to one another straight?>>: Start from my last post, work up. Or you could always to a search for string.
Aaron> <<that's not what I was going for>>: Exactly. I was quoting Something Positive. http://www.somethingpositive.net/sp04022002.html
Fire Storm> <<maybe 'Thou shall have tea and cake with a vicar once a week' isn't a REAL commandment either>>: What if it's a dirty vicar?
<<Well, happy birthday, Trisha!>>: I hope you like the double barrel, I think it goes with your apparel.
<<Went there... lots of re-mixes, but NOTHING beats the original!>>: Sure it wasn't there? I thought that's where I found it. Maybe it was his own site.
Imzadi> <<First was a gin and tonic (something I've picked up from my parents), second was a tequila sunrise>>: You didn't have a screaming orgasm?
<<Which idiot did that?>>: It seemed like a good idea at the time.
Barracuda> <<Grow a beard and they won't bother you at the door>>: Advice I follow, if I actually drank. That, and I read too much Shakespeare ("beardless youth").
Mooncat> <<"Kingdom Hearts" is so cool>>: Aeris lives.

Probably should wait until after the wipe before I post this, but oh well. Might as well get it over with, so I can wash my hands and be done. Pontius Pilate said something like that, didn’t he?
******
“I will remember you…”
Yes, I will. Honest.
“Will you remember me….”
Oh, some of you probably will. Perhaps fondly. Others….
“Don’t let your life pass you by….”
I won’t, by gawd.
“Weep not for the memory….”
Thank you, Sarah. Nothing left but the memories now.
And so, we come to an end. You and I, that is. It’s been….well, something short of fun, actually, but even all semi-good things must come to a close. So this is it for me. I’ve decided to post a longer farewell, plus reasoning, on my Live Journal, so if you want to check that out, go to:
http://www.livejournal.com/~sevariusjr
and check it out, or click on my name.
And that’ll be that. I will bid you adieu.
Before I leave, though, I have just two things to say:
1. I regret nothing.
2. Except that I never got to meet SOROW or JackaL, because I figure if I couldn’t have gotten any sex off the former, I probably could off the latter. [Remember what Lil’ Jimmy Norton always says: “It’s not gay if you don’t make eye contact!”]
I leave you, for good this time, with a closing that some of you didn’t understand last time. It’s an inside joke, and I’ve always loved inside humor. I think it makes a fitting parting to my five years here. I think it just so speaks of me. So, goodbye to you all, and always remember me when you think of:
Your Mom’s Box.

Imzadi: <What's that?>
My solution for bored TV viewers, the growing prison population, AND the money pit that the prison population is:
Pay-per-view Lifer Death Match!
Here is what you do: Make it voluntary ('Suggest' it is better) and offer a prize of a really nice place to spend the rest of your life if you win 10 rounds (no way in hell I would free these people!)
The battles would either be 1 on 1, 2 on 2, or 8 on 8 (prison riots would be melee battles, everyone for themselves. Weapon caches would open from the walls and they would be allowed to do what they want. When they start settling down, flood the prison with knockout gas (from a system installed in the prison) and throw the survivors back in their cells. The event would be taped and shown as a special PPV event)
Weapons are provided around the battle arena (Ala Thunderdome. Melee weapons ONLY.)
Show several sets of battles a night (3 hours), and make the battles to the death.
If two contestants do not kill each other, it is the judges decision if both should live (they did try to kill each other) or they both die (they just stood around).
In 1 on 1 and 2 on 2, one complete team must die. For 8 on 8, over half of the team must be dead.
The standard events would play once every 2 weeks for $29.99, special events would be $39.99. A season pass, which includes Riot special events, would be available for $775. Final Event special events (the battles of those that have won 9 rounds) are NOT included in the package! All proceeds would go to the prison system, which will be a lot cheaper since most of the guards have been pulled out. (The reason there will be more riots).
Think people wouldn't watch it? People love wrestling and police chases. I mean, who doesn't enjoy watching the criminals getting killed in police videos?
A real life running man!

Thanks to all who wished me a happy birthday. To those who didn't, well...I'm sure SJ can think of a colorful insult.
A few friends and I went to Dave & Busters. I had a great time. Got carded twice and proudly said "neener neener its my birthday". I set a personal record by finishing two drinks. First was a gin and tonic (something I've picked up from my parents), second was a tequila sunrise. Okay, I admit it, not the hardest things I could drink. I wasn't trying to get smashed, I was just drinking whatever people were suggesting. I also tried a screaming banshee. I'll admit it, I'm a wuss when it comes to alcohol. I detest the taste and will gladly drink anything that successfully masks it.
We played a lot of pool and several games of red planet and battletech on the old virtual world Tesla pods (if you don't know what that is, its a big expensive mechwarrior-style video game). We had a great time.
And I got lots of good presents too.
Silverbolt: <<national run around in your underwear day>>: Cool!
Aris: <<every single time I peek in here, I get the distinct impression that this room should be demolished and paved over with cement>>: Then where would we go to bitch? <<this room was past saving>>: Very true.
Niamhgold: <<chocolate demolition cake...complete with DLD>>: You are too good to me.
Spacebabie: <<Do NOT put icy hot on your balls>>: Um...that would be stupid. Which idiot did that? <<What is she 13 years old>>: Sometimes I wonder about Lain's ability to judge character. <<I’ll strap them down with an ace bandage>>: Kinky. <<That’s it! I’m getting a reduction>>: That should be a sin. Its like being a bulemic American. <<How do you keep them separated?>>: Very carefully. <<Anna Nichole has a bigger rack>>: Yeah, but she's a white trash whore.
Lee: <<How do you people keep your responses to one another straight?? Is it some special super power that I don't know about? I'm so confused>>: You use their name at the beginning of the paragraph. Not hard. <<either that or they were just really crabby because it was 99 degrees outside and I didn't have the air conditioner on>>: I get crabby when its hot too. No A/C in my apartment. <<Are there stories behind the pictures>>: Not all of them. <<Wouldn't gargoyle males be, um, more endowed? I mean, with the exception of Lexington, all of the male gargoyles are way bigger than human males and logic would follow that they'd be way bigger "down there" too?>>: BAD LOGIC! Gorillas have 2-inch penises. Besides, this is art created from fictional characters. They could be female under there for all we know...or they could have completely alien reproductive organs.
Taleweaver: <<Persephone comes from Angela's rookery on Avalon>>: Oh, I didn't realize that. That explains a lot. <<gargoyle genetics is a Chinese puzzle box as Todd eloquently puts it, you never know what will fall out>>: Incest will do that to a family.
Aaron: <<I would ban anybody if they did something egregious enough, even you>>: I'll believe it when I see it. Not that I'm gonna test it myself, mind you. <<so you're a butt-pirate, then>>: Quiet, assburglar. <<I thought it was Situation Normal>>: That too.
Ravyn: <<be sure to do an extra complicated, long, and involved integral by hand for fun in honor of the special day>>: I think I would have preferred alcohol poisoning. <<I know way too many people with September birthdays>>: People get busy on New Years. I don't get to claim that, since I was created in a lab.
Fire Storm: <<Make *MY* sports show a reality>>: What's that? <<for the odds that on this one day of the year THAT number would be chosen>>: Yes. But you only asked for the odds that 911 would be the number chosen 8-) <<comments on Iraq>>: I totally agree with you. <<when Farscape ends, boycott the channel>>: You do that. I want my SG-1.
Okay and now I'm finally going to sleep.

Green Baron: <I don't see St. Francis of Assissi writing that one :)>
You sure? Hmm... Well, maybe 'Thou shall have tea and cake with a vicar once a week' isn't a REAL commandment either...
Gside: <Moxy Früvous's Michigan Militia>
Ahh... Well, happy birthday, Trisha!
<And you expect me to do the same? And record it, no less?>
...
Point.
<No, Bjorn's mp3.com area>
Went there... lots of re-mixes, but NOTHING beats the original!
Imzadi: <Isn't that what we all do?>
Very true.
<Behold the glory of Costco>
NAY, SAY YOU! Sams club!
<I hear you. I watch one event every year. The superbowl...ads>
If there is a shot of people getting seriously hurt, I'll watch it. But really, what's the point of sports anyway? People getting paid to hurt each other but they are so padded that they don't REALLY get hurt!
DAMN IT! Make *MY* sports show a reality!
<That's "Composer" with a capital "C" ;-)>
Ah, there isn't a difference!
<Dude, you either have a huge pantry or a small house>
Yes to both. 805 Square foot house, the pantry in my basement has 150 square feet of shelf space
<Ironic, isn't it? We can't even tell REAL reality anymore>
That's the point! THe WTC is REALLY still there, but it's a government conspiracy covering it up!
<Take over the world>
Hey, look at what's going on in the middle east. IF (and maybe even when) Bush screws up, the public will HATE him. What better time would it be for a charismatic person to jump in and take over with total power?
<1/1000, according to the article and basic probability>
Wouldn't it be more like (1/1000)x(1/365) for the odds that on this one day of the year THAT number would be chosen?
Patrick Toman: <I'd wanted to hear it live, but I couldn't seem to find a radio station carrying it to listen to here at work>
Reminds me of Bush's first address after the attack. The only station to carry it locally was AM and AM does NOT penetrate into the building I work in, so we so desperately tried to get it on CNN video, but the servers were overloaded. :(
Iraq: When we do take military action (Who are we kidding. Justified or not, we ARE gonna attack), We have to go full throttle. NO turning back due to surrender. NO treaty. Death or capture. THAT must be the way the war would end.
THEN... SCREW IRAQ! NO independence. NO government of their own. Iraq is the 51st state (Or US protectorate, or something). WE TAKE OVER. COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY.
That's what we should have done with Afghanistan. The area has proven that they can't manage themselves, so either leave them alone or take them over.
We have the strongest military in the world, and we are letting people like THIS threaten us? CRUSH them, without mercy.
That TOTALLY goes against most of my views on government, but if we are gonna commit military forces, then make it all or nothing.
That's my opinion, I don't care if I am wrong.
Fanfiction.net: Hey, they want to kill their fanbase, let them.
Farscape: Well, Sci-Fi complained that not enough people were watching their other programs, so I say when Farscape ends, boycott the channel.
Aaron: <“make America less dependant of foreign oil.”>
That's why I propose a total take over of Iraq. MAKE IT domestic oil!
Mooncat: <Fanfiction.net gave me back my money. Balance is met>
I wonder how much money they are losing.
Andrea: <Webmanix>
What's the catch with them? It just seems WAY too good to be true.
Ravyn: <That's funny, but makes no sense either>
EXACTLY!
Heather: <Does anyone know of ANY dental insurance other than Mail Handlers?>
Delta Dental. Pay a total of $500 and they basically cover the procedure after that. And I only pay $10 a month.

Aaron> Going just off of the little flyer that I got from the Disney Store after ordering the Beauty and the Beast DVD, it says that there are three versions of the film on the DVD, plus the behind the scenes footage and extras and stuff. So I'm hoping that they have the version of the movie as it was originally released on there. :) Although I did see that extra musical number they put in the film ... it really doesn't detract from the movie or anything, and it still keeps the movie flowing and all. It stands out if you've seen the movie a few times, because you're not used to seeing it there ... but it's not too bad. I think I still probably like the original version of the movie best, though. :)
Renee> <<How do you people keep your responses to one another straight?? Is it some special super power that I don't know about? I'm so confused>> It takes some getting used to at first, but after a while you'll get the hang of it. ;)
Heather> Ouch! Dental work! ;) Hope it goes well and stuff, whatever they end up doing with your tooth. As for dental insurance, I'm still on my parents' insurance plan through their employer, and I have Delta Dental. They're kind of a pain. But then again ... aren't all insurance companies? ;)
Happy Birthday, Josh!!!! :) Hope you have a good birthday, and be sure to do an extra complicated, long, and involved integral by hand for fun in honor of the special day! Okay, maybe don't do *that* ... but have fun. ;)
Wow, I know way too many people with September birthdays ... :)

Gside> <<Y'know, plunder is another word for pirate treasure.>> Yes, but that's not what I was going for.
Josh> <Certain people in this CR will NEVER be banned>> Not so. I would ban anybody if they did something egregious enough, even you. <<<<tell me what pirates call treasure again>>: BOOTY!>> Oh, so you're a butt-pirate, then? ;) <<TARFU/SNAFU (Things Are/Situation Now All F*cked Up)>> I thought it was Situation Normal. <<You will have to fight every other male in the fandom for the privilege.>> Most of them, anyway. And some of the females too.
Spacebabie> <<Another Texan with brains>> Me, brains? Nah. <<I bet you would love to see the naked Amidala.>> No, that's SJ. I actually don't think Natalie Portman is all that pretty. <<That would be fun seeing Obi wan getting wasted. Maybe he can chase a syringe down the toilet.>> Or watch Yoda crawl across the ceiling above him. <<<<<Always thought they were talking about testicles.>>>How do you keep them separated?>> http://www.sluggy.com/daily.php?date=020919

Hello all,
I want to wish everyone a good weekend.
Josh on Persephone> I think they're refering to the fact that Persephone comes from Angela's rookery on Avalon. By the time Angela and Broadway moved the family, Artus was about the same age as those on island. And she came back with him when they returned to Manhattan. It isn't impossible that Persephone is Asrial and Thersites kid, but gargoyle genetics is a Chinese puzzle box as Todd eloquently puts it, you never know what will fall out.
Surprisingly little else from me today. Hope everyone will be safe, take risks, but don't act stupidly.

AAAAHHHH! How do you people keep your responses to one another straight?? Is it some special super power that I don't know about? I'm so confused.
Josh (I think)-- Yeah, my kids are angels most of the time. Then there's yesterday. Methinks they were possessed by a demon spirit, either that or they were just really crabby because it was 99 degrees outside and I didn't have the air conditioner on.
Christine -- Followed your link to your gallery. Quite interesting. Are there stories behind the pictures? If so, I'd love to read the one behind the Godiva and Demona picture. Hell, I'd be interested in reading all the stories. Let's just say I like to read erotica. I do have a question about the pictures/drawings. Wouldn't gargoyle males be, um, more endowed? I mean, with the exception of Lexington, all of the male gargoyles are way bigger than human males and logic would follow that they'd be way bigger "down there" too. And now thanks to you, I have a Goliath fantasy. Thanks. lol!
Anyway I must be going. TTFN!

New heet vynal in the kitchen and laundey room. Our family room, the room with the the entertainment system and DVD player AND the only room besides my parents that has the digital cable hook-up, is packed wall to wall with a kitchen table, 4 chairs, a washer, dryer, AND a refrigerator (which thankfully they plugged in so it's still in use). No DVD or digital cable make Leo a dull boy.

Yes, I KNOW I should be in school today but I got a dentist appointment. I WAS suppose to get my mouth worked on but the dentist wants to save my tooth that has been trapped in my gum for nearly 4 years! Save it?! Are you kidding? My mom agrees wit him because she doesn't want to fork out 1400 dollars to give me a false tooth.

Hi, Aris. Nice to hear from you again (even if with the indication that it's likely to be only a brief temporary visit).

You know, every single time I peek in here, I get the distinct impression that this room should be demolished and paved over with cement.
I think it was a long time ago that I decided that this room was past saving. Two years ago when Jackal started insulting *Todd* of all people out of the blue, and nobody here cared to tell Jackal such behaviour is unacceptable. It was only I that ever held people here up to standards of common decency, instead of saying "Oh, they are not actually real people with the responsibility to be civil, they are just crazies and our pals. Anything's allowed if it comes from them."
(and then ofcourse there was insults by people against entire races. "towelheads" anyone? Anyone around to object to such statements? Nah, I didn't think so. Racial insults are okay as long as they come from angry people, right? And when someone is continuously angry, who is continuously "pissed-off", everything is allowed, no standards of human behaviour apply to him, right?)
I saw that attitude around for Jackal, now I'm seeing it for Pistoff. SJ, is there *anything* Pistoff might say that you would condemn? And what would that be? Because your argument seems to be that a threat is something quite different to an action. And given that Pistoff had written smut about 13-year olds named Otto Felatio, it's clear you don't object to hypocricy either. Would clear-cut *lies* be enough to make some sign of disapproval against him? I think I might be able to locate one or two in the archives for you.
SJ, I wouldn't want snuff fics written against my kid (if I had one) or my sister (if I had one) or my mother. Regardless of whether they'd be writing smut or not. Therefore I don't want them written against *anyone*, whether I think the threat is real or not. If you are to be a friend of Pistoff, then hold him up to standards of human behaviour. Or you are not treating him like a friend, you are treating him like a loan ornament, in my very arrogant opinion.
<sigh> I wouldn't say that all decent people have left. But I'd say that the only decent people who remain are the ones with extremely large tolerance levels - therefore don't be surprised to see great percentages of fans and writers of erotica (or porn or smut or etc) among them.
And then again there are the non-decent people.
I'm away again. Sorry for intruding. But I just wanted to make it clear again, that the people here had the choice of either accepting assholes or rejecting them - and they chose the former. Don't complain now, when you didn't object to them before they came after you or your friends directly.
Sorry for the interruption.

Arrrrrr! Aye be a pirate!
What the hell does that mean anyway?
God Thursday's suck. I can only hope that my sadistic geology professor does not stay this way and agrees to move this class around just a little. 5-8? Sick!
Aaron: <<Whatever the target demographic was>>: Rocky people. What other people would be entertained by stories of scary creatures with wings and fangs who are only out at night and STILL get the girl? <<We must be doin' somethin' right>>: I suspect that "something" is spending money. <<People think we're random, arbitrary, and uncaring>>: Actually I don't think you're any of those things. And that's the problem. You're biased. Predictably so. Certain people in this CR will NEVER be banned, no matter what they say/do, because they are either your friends or agree with you on a particular political stance or whatever. <<where did the money to buy the arms in the first place come from>>: S&L scandals 8-) <<wouldn't it have been nice for this to be true>>: Only the one about him directing. <<tell me what pirates call treasure again>>: BOOTY!
Patrick: <<Av any of ye scurvy dogs seen me mizzen mast?>>: If you're missing your mizzen mast, you've got trouble. <<tis still mizzen!>>: HAHA. <<what must I do to join with the Dark Side>>: www.apple.com/switch Oh, that wasn't what you meant, was it? <<now I'm gonna have that Indian Jones music in my head the rest of the day>>: Or Invader Zim's Doom song! <<I humbly offer my services for the judging committee>>: Somehow, I think they'll pick you to do it over me.
Crzy: <<I'm sad you don't prefer my bosom anymore... DAMN YOU SPACEBABIE!! You had to come in here with that RACK OF DOOOM>>: I wasn't aware the females of this fandom had a contest going on large breasts. Oh well, I'm not gonna argue against it! Let the wet t-shirt contest begin! <<with your charm and personality, I can see why you couldn't find a real one>>: I offer your stories of your ex as proof that truly evil men can still get laid occasionally. <<Excuse me? How did I get dragged into this>>: Probably by being the first victim and supporter. <<You will find this even more true when you start getting closer to the Gathering>>: I would like to point out that I haven't said ONE bad thing about G2k3 yet 8-) <<you will be completely discredited as a coward for not posting your name? sheesh>>: I'm sorry, you must have this room confused for one where we don't take cowards seriously. Plenty of cowards post in here. Like me.
Brooklyn: <<Is Persephone Asrial and Thersites daughter?>>: You're very confused. Asrial and Thersites died 1000 years before Persephone was born.
Spacebabie: <<We are all slime and cowards>>: A fair assessment. <<You gotta keep them seperated>>: Always thought they were talking about testicles. <<I love prons taste like lil shrimp they do>>: I don't think you'd give up your soul for them, though. <<I’m pretty much sure there is room for the both of you in there>>: I think there's room for the entire fandom. <<What the heck is FUBAR>>: F*cked Up Beyond All Recognition/Repair. Like TARFU/SNAFU (Things Are/Situation Now All F*cked Up). <<Good boy you get a chocolate bar>>: Woohoo! <<they talk about them when I’m not around>>: Most men won't talk about a woman's chest to her facce. <<No I’m just innocent>>: Therefore you have no talent. <<Do you realize how high much of a pain these are?>>: No, but I'm sure your Chiropractor does. <<I have to powder them a lot>>: Why?
Mooncat: <<Guess this would be a good time for that "what pirate are you>>: Link?
Kathy: <<I meant to say this before, well done on your test>>: Thank you. I'm rather happy about my scores. Not perfect...but certainly good enough to get into grad school.
Taleweaver: <<Dark Water>>: How many of the lost treasures did they wind up finding? <<Hawkins and Harthoth have been saying ‘the time is close at had’ for years. Judging from the title, I hope they’ll put up or shut up>>: "Close" for an immortal could be centuries. Its geologic time scale. <<15 weeks of knowledge crammed into 10 week.>>: In my experience its been 15 weeks of knowledge spread out over 20.
Green Baron: <<yoru claim to be the only true moralist does denote a certain pride, which is counter to our values, so you yourself are not a true moralist either>>: That's right! Its a sin to believe that you are without sin! <<Consider it a compliment that you can detect the flaws in my arguments.>>: Or an insult to yourself. <<he is the byproduct of an overactive imagination and C-Span>>: I don't think anyone has ever said that sentence. <<LSAT? I need to work on that, too>>: I recommend the class. So far its boosted my score a bit. <<I will gladly inspect your sand Spacebabie's at a bosom contest in G2003>>: You will have to fight every other male in the fandom for the privilege.
Lain: <<some people, apparently, arent getting the message>>: Well its not like you're a very good role model. <<im passwording EVERYTHING. too. freakin. bad>>: Welcome to the world of not being a welcome mat. <<you mean.. someone was ACTUALLY paying attention to the art!>>: Except they're both DEAD!
Ravyn: <<That's a little scary about the phone situation and the internet boyfriend>>: You're one to talk.
Christine: <<win the booby prize>>: Is there another prize in this contest?
Snafu: <<March 27, 2172 should be a Friday, not a Wednesday>>: I'm impressed. Do you have a program or something that you use?
Gside: <<many other places, too>>: Amen. <<I thought you might go for a perfect score>>: Since all scores are reported, I didn't think it was worth my time. <<part of the first verse>>: Second verse, same as the first (louder!). <<That statement is a bit of mystery to me>>: The statement isn't, but why confuses me.
Lynati: <<What IS the booby prize>>: free bra?
Okay time to crash. I may now consume alcohol.

Imzadi> <<Especially in the tub>>: And many other places, too.
<<Personally I think she's farting>>: I'd rather not think of that. Reminds mee too much of that Japanese video series.

Mariners > well, in reality, they aren't doing as well as they had been ... lost a bunch of games in a row, fell way behind in the race. And last night, Lou Pinella, the manager, had a major blowout over a botched call in the 9th inning. He got thrown out of the game, but before he left the field, he'd ripped first base out of the ground and chucked it around the outfield ... twice!

WAHOO!!!!!!!
Today is a happy day!!! Why, you ask? :) Well ... because I just found my precious Pepsi Blue in stores out here in Arizona!!!!!!!! After getting hooked on the stuff back in Michigan this summer, now I can finally taste the stuff again since it's made its way out here ... ahh, sweet blue bliss ... **grins and leaves tons of bottles of Pepsi Blue for everybody on the Tea Table of Peace** :)
Aaron> I like the list about Episode II, and I wish it had been true as well! ;) Just my random comment too ... I think you've done an okay job as admin, just because you've treated everyone equally, even if it was just leaving everyone alone at times. But at least you've given everyone the same treatment, admin-wise. <<The ban list is up and working, and it's damn near half a page long>> Wow, really? That many people have been banned from here? Wow. ;)
lain> Eep!!!! That's a little scary about the phone situation and the internet boyfriend ... yes, I would look into getting your number changed too. :( Glad you're enjoying the Star Trek class too, and beautiful art on the latest TGS story. :)
FS> Ummm ... Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs ... why? **scratches head, confused** oh, well ... ;) So White Castle seriously makes gourmet coffee, huh? That's funny, but makes no sense either ... ;)
DPH> They're cancelling "Win Ben Stein's Money???" NOOO!!!! Ben Stein is the only national celebrity I've ever met, they can't cancel his show!!! ;) Besides, I kinda liked it, though I thought it got a little dumber when they replaced Jimmy Kimmel with that annoying chick (I don't remember her name ...) Ah, well. I'm hooked on "Beat the Geeks" now. :)
Mooncat> Forgot to say it, but I'm glad fanfiction.net gave you a refund so soon. I thought for sure they'd stall and make it tough for ya. :)
GB> <<Needless to say, he is the byproduct of an overactive imagination and C-Span>> Ah, how I miss the old silly RP's ... :) Say hi to Tuxedo Bob for me, 'kay? :)
Christine> <<so, how about those Mariners?>> They're pretty good still, right? :) I haven't had a chance to follow the American League so much lately ... though I've gotten quite wrapped up in the National League West race. Go, Diamondbacks!!!!! :)
Finally got to see Monsters, Inc. for the first time this morning. Very cute movie. :) And I absolutely can't *wait* until Lilo and Stitch comes out on video ... soon!!! :) I've already pre-ordered the Beauty and the Beast DVD too. That movie is definitely one of my all-time favorites. :)
Off to finish up a few things on someone's birthday gift that I have to mail to him soon ... hee hee ... :) Later, all!

GB> <<I wish he'd make a sequel to Guns, but it would probably be too happy as the ending was very happy with little conflict or threads.>> Well, the future of a world where AK-47s and computers are lying around in the 1870s is probably a nuclear holocaust somewhere in the 1920s. So... Not much sequel potential. Have you read his World War series? <<I think it is also the CR and what we admit here. Imzadi - How many times have I mentioned "Why won't he listen to me?" Also, I distinctly recall sharing an incident a while back about my dad choking me and me being scared to death. By nature, I'm not a violent person and Gunjack could probably testify that I'm not in shape for fighting.
Green Baron - <And on another note, yoru claim to be the only true moralist does denote a certain pride, which is counter to our values, so you yourself are not a true moralist either, I fear.> I may concede that point because of the pride involved. < Keep up the good work on Timedancer.> Honestly, contributed much less that the others you named.
Spacebabie - <So far that’s three.> *feels releaved nobody is doing a search for "DPH" at yahoo.*
Imzadi - <And education comes before border patrol.> Hmm. National security comes first (with respect to maintaining citizen rights). Of course, I've been leaning towards believing that spending money on medical science falls into the category of national security.
Christine - I've heard they're cancelling "WIn Ben Stein's Money" despite the show getting 7 emmys out of comedy central's 8.
Heather - <Japanese clan section? What?> Internal TGS documentation. There is a page on the Japanese clan and a big chunk of information on that page about Bushido and Eastern Morality.

speculations on spoiler questions:
Taleweaver:<<Didn’t aliens become know back in 2158? Has the world been sitting on that info for 14 years? It sounded like they were still pondering ‘if’ there were aliens out there.>>
As Greg W would say, there's an "in story" answer to go with the "real" answer. I believe this may have something to do with the change in Greg's "Master Plan" to change "2158" to "2198". Same thing's basically gonna happen, just 40 years later. TGS Season1 was written before the "change" so in "Games Without Frontiers", a distant future Ray Bradburryesque episode, you have a character mentioning "the Incursion of 2158; the Great War; the first off-world conflict in history" and in "Return to Paradise", Sata tells Brooklyn "something about aliens entering the solar system" while he was gone.
So TGS is probably making a compromise. In "TGS 2158" the Space Spawn's presence is known but there is no invasion. They're just laying low in the background, watching, planning... etc.. for a 2198 invasion.
That's just my guess

Greetings and good cheer. While there is not too much to be cheerful about, let us reflect on better things in life.
Lynati> I hear many different versions of that joke, but that one is the cleanest. I have always found nun jokes amusing, but I guess it comes with the territory.
<<Dude, I got a livejournal for the express purpose of not flooding this room with my meaningless drivel.>> I wish I knew of it. I think you should feel free to post such drivel as you call it. Don't think yourself so insignificant. I post stuff no one gives a damn about, but I wil post it in the offchance someone does pay attention to me.
I also have an art piece in mind for the series a certain Pennsylvanian and I are working on. Have you ever done a coat of arms before?
Heather> Well, I bet you have names for all the Clans. Perhaps you can help me with names for my project.
Cherry> When do you leave for Israel? Perhaps I can send you some good Palestinian and Arafat jokes, well they aren't that good to be honest ;)
DPH> Keep up the good work on Timedancer. Same goes for Todd Jensen, Greg "Xanatos" Evil (I think he'll prefer that surname to his father's), Alan Coleman Waltrip and all the others.
And on another note, yoru claim to be the only true moralist does denote a certain pride, which is counter to our values, so you yourself are not a true moralist either, I fear.
Imzadi> <<What the !@#$ is a jizz krispie?>> Take a guess :D
<<Oy you're such a goy. Its matzoh.>> I stand corrected.
<<Excuse me?>> Consider it a compliment that you can detect the flaws in my arguments.
<<, we don't. Its illegal to be able to hear the music more than 50 feet from a car. >> You lucky bastard!! I wish I had that law on military posts, especially in barracks. I'd love to go Joe Pesci on the jerkoffs booming their bass boomboxes and prior to 10 pm, they have all rights to, as it is quiet time.
<<what is it with the eternal rivalry between mothers and grandmothers?>> I didn't have that in my family much. GRanted my grandmother had awful heart problems from before I was born until she died 8 years ago.
<<who killed kennedy>> Oliver Stone did :)
Mooncat> I am happy to hear about your refund. ::happy capitalistic hugs filled with greed:: Lady Capitalism shines upon you. May she shine upon my next paycheck :)
Regarding Pistoff, I still do not see him as a credible threat, but take precautions you feel necessary. I created Tuxedo Bob Dole back in 1998. During that time, I created the Catholic schoolgirl scouts soon after I put the Reverend Attila into the RPs of Doug and Kit. Essentially I ripped off Sailor Moon, though it was a hit with the antics of a perverted hentai kitty, five girls with magical rosaries, and loads of political, religious, and historical references, like OJ the genetically enhanced undying butcher who continued to search for the real killer, and the evil demon Ted Turner.
Tuxedo Bob Dole is roughly the same as your former Senator, except he has a laser pen attached to hsi hand and the laser itself is powered by viagra. He also became Obi Won Bob, an agent of the Capitalist Jedi and battled the evil Darth Clinton with his light sabre cigar :) He also battled evil militant Amish who planned to take over Pennsylvania during Y2K :)
Needless to say, he is the byproduct of an overactive imagination and C-Span. I woudl do more on the whole thing, but after Attila died, I just quit.
Hatred and Joyrides> I only know of one person here who has a legitimate right to despise him and all I can do is apologize for my behavior and wish to take it all back, but the damage is done.
Now, if Pistoff gave me a joyride, I would find it amusing at the very least, especially with my odd sense of humor. It means I am that important a part of someone's life to be the recipient of such hate mail and the most I did to him was make him feel victimized by my liberal bashing.
I have no quarrell with Jan or with Mooncat. I like both of them. In fact, I can't say there is anyone I truly despise in this CR. Then again, I am more into humor, especially the weird kind, like using Project 23 on Hillary Clinton :)
Heather> Speaking of David, he is in Florence so you can see him in the buff on your Italy trip :)
As for cleaning his privates, its not that odd if you don't dwell on it. Its Rennaisance art afterall.
Spacebabie> How far do you live from Campus? Three hours sounds awfully long though I've waited that long waiting for a streetcar from HS and from College never that long. It depends on hos busy it is and all. Besides, its only $30.00 a month to use LYNX. That is a good price to travel throughout Orlando.
Silvadel> I'm only 25. Not much happened for me. I still have a ways to go. I give myself another 50 years.
Foxfire> That sounds like Bob Jones. One of my fraternity brotehrs back at Loyola was from Charleston and he called Bob Jones U. the Salvation Army from Hell.
It's too bad Lindsery Graham has an honorary degree from there, but I'd vote for him in spite of that. Then again, Governor Hodges has that, too.
<<In their defense, their drama department and religious art collection are pretty good, but still...! My mind boggles. :-)>> I also hear their homeschooling aids are very good, though I dated a girl who was taught with their materials and she dumped me for being Catholic.
I am surprised about the religious art since I figured fundamentalists though religiosu art was blasphemous. Silly herectics :) They are good for a fun game of Inquisition, but that's about it :)
Kaioto> Well, quality bootlegged stuff is nice if cheap and good quality. I will probably have my opportunity for bootelegged stuff down in Kosovo though I was alreayd warned about the poor quality of DVDs and CDs down there.
Aaron> <<Harry Turtledove, right? I love his stuff, I just wish I had more time and money to pick up the things he's done lately.>> I am The Great War: American Front. I have read Guns of the South and How Few Remain. I really liekd Guns fo the South and his portrayal of Robert E. Lee was dead on. I wish he'd make a sequel to Guns, but it would probably be too happy as the ending was very happy with little conflict or threads.
I have already seen a bit about Featherston and I know he is bad news from some spoilers.
<<Well, he did kinda keep the country together so the Constitution would mean something afterward.>> But that doesn't change what he does, and it makes me less concerned about recent actions. Now, I am not too concerned about those civil liberties outside the Constitution and even inside them, I don't like all of them, especially the 8th Ammendment and the 16th Ammendment. It also makes me less fearful of what is being done now and if our rights are too trampled, well we have the right to rise up in rebellion and reclaim our Government, our I become a high ranking military Officer and lead a coup :)
<<I dunno, but I think we need to launch a tax-payer subsidized fact finding mission to find out.>> Though it would cost millions, when all we need is for a few soldiers or such to go there on Space A and give back results.
<<I happen to take great pride in that liberty, thank you. ;p >> Well, I get sick of my house shaking as some degenerate blasts drives by the house disturbing the peace. I wish Joe Peschi would track them down and take care of them.
<<Dude, how do you think they financed Iran-Contra?>> Weapons moreso, but drugs may have been used. Still, I consider Maxine Waters to be a real lowlife even by Congressional standards.
Siryn> <<Honestly. I guess his main means of doing this is just for attention. *sighs* :/>> And we gave him quite a bit.
Live Journal> You ahve the right to post what you wish, but others have the right to read it. Anyone could read my online diary (in bad need of an update) and paste whatever they want in here. That is a risk that people take.
Kathy> I think you present the best method to handle it. I wish I was so kindly.
Gunjack> Impulse control. Good way to put it. I really have offered all I can and care to. I think the CR will be less with Jan gone, but not much I can do about it.
I am sick of the petty bickering and office politics here, though I see enough good things about the CR. I do wonder who next will leave, though.
<<Mooncat writes about unspeakable brutality for amusement and titilation.>> You have now advertised her. Ask for residuals :)
Jan> <<Just thinking here… so I guess it would be all right if I snagged comments made by others from this CR from a different location and posted them here? Even if it was an intentional attempt to begin a flame war? Hmmmm….. >> You can go right ahead. I am curious about the outcome myself.
Mara> <<For the record- I'm too into war movies to have ever been a good hippie.>> That's the spirit :) ::takes out M16 and aims at hippies::
<<Clan, but many different clans>> I say factions not clans, though not everyone belongs to these said factions in the form of two rival gangs.
Lurker> Hmm...you remind me of the Watcher.
Patrick Toman> <<How many of you in this room who have critized Mooncat for mentioning something that obviously disturbed her would NOT react similarly if you were to see yourselves as the subject of violent murder fic?>> I owuld take joy that someone would take the effort to put me in their hate mail. Maybe that's why I don't see a major threat looming over Mooncat. To me, its a compliment of sorts.
Mooncat> I've only seen a possum once and that was at a retreat out in the countryside/suburbs.
Lain> <<i dont think i can actually grasp the level of hatred on this one. how can you people actually LIVE while THINKING like that?? oogie indeed :P >> You're quite lucky, then.
SJ> <<Although I suppose that I should be thankful that I haven't been lumped into this thing yet.>> For what, guilt by association? Well, it was Wilek having you kidnapped that created Tuxedo Bob Dole so you did get inidrectly dragged into this :)
Imzadi> LSAT? I need to work on that, too.
Aaron> <<Whatever the target demographic was, gargoyles seems to have resonated the most with people who were a bit, (or rather more then a bit) damaged. >> I think it is also the CR and what we admit here. No one is really that mundane or they'd be boring and woudl shy away from our insanity. It took me going to Confession to finally confront the guilt I had about losing my virginity...now Spacebabie and Wilek are a bigger minority here.
Jen Anderson> <<And I'm sad you don't prefer my bosom anymore... DAMN YOU SPACEBABIE!! You had to come in here with that RACK OF DOOOM! ;) ::smooches:: I love you all. Can I plan the orgy for G2003?>> I still find your breasts very lovely, though I will gladly inspect your sand Spacebabie's at a bosom contest in G2003 ;)
And a Happy Birthday to you.
Spacebabie> Powder? I never heard of that.
Now I depart and leave for slumber. 28 days until I'm in Kosovo :)

hello all,
Pirate Day, eh? Well, I was playing on dubbing all my episodes of Dark Water together. Guess today is as good a day as any.
Well Thursday is review day for me. I must say I'm pleased I'm keeping with it. I havent't always been the most reliable. But any who. Here's the review of this week's Timedancer.
Spoiler Alert!
<Warning! Incoming Review!> <Warning! Incoming Review!>
Timedancer Review: “Before the Storm”
Tagline: 2172 is the year of love. While villains scheme of world domination, heroes woo new lovers.
Plotline: Married heroes liven up their love lives. Single heroes meet new loves. Meanwhile every villain has plan and their time is ‘coming soon’.
Review line: Much like “Solstice”, this episode favors breadth over depth. It’s good that so many characters get screen time, but the downside is the lack of development on said characters. Persephone and Artus hooking up was the most interesting. Demona’s hook-up with Benedick was the least. I just don’t go in for lapdogs. Macbeth’s attraction to Anna was interesting. I’d like to see if their relationship takes any surprising twists.
The calm before the storm part was overdone. Hawkins and Harthoth have been saying ‘the time is close at had’ for years. Judging from the title, I hope they’ll put up or shut up.
The big question mark over my head was that internal monologue with Demona and Jon Castaway. ??? First, neither sounded like their characters, more like teenagers making up after a fight. Second, it didn’t reveal any insight into Demona. Is this a glimpse at some sense of humor Demona’s developed? Or is this some shot at showing how far she changed from her ‘destroy all humans’ past?
My big hope is various romances started here will expand their characters’ range. Romances have a habit of being the first step to character obscurity. First, the courtship, then a long uninteresting dating period, then marriage, then obscurity until pregnancy enters into things.
I did like the conference on aliens, but it seems a bit late. Didn’t aliens become know back in 2158? Has the world been sitting on that info for 14 years? It sounded like they were still pondering ‘if’ there were aliens out there.
Alex joining the Illuminati furthered his own style of doing things. I liked that. Not quiet the David Xanatos confidence, but a mixture of self-awareness and uncertainty. David always had a contingence, but Alex is a make-up-as-you-go-along kind of guy.
Overall, I hope the villains make their moves soon. I hope we will see the romances develop. The road to love is rarely a smooth one, except for Demona. It presented another establishing shot, now let’s see some action.
<End of Review and Spoilers> <End of Review and Spoilers>
I'm on my way to prepare for fall classes. Got to love the quarter system. 15 weeks of knowledge crammed into 10 week.
Hasta la pasta!

It's late, but it's lunchtime. YAY lunch. Too bad there has to be grocery shopping involved too. It's gray and foggy today, I'd rather stay home and knit. (Yes knit)
Spacebabie FUBAR is a military acronym. It means Fouled Up Beyond Redemption (or words to that effect.
MoonCat - Cats and Paint. That's just funny. No really, it is. ::Imagining scheming cats:: But then again I'm not the one who has to repaint. (Oh wait, I am, but that's because the dogs insist on scratching on the doors.
Jan > Peace.
Pirate Day... Uh huh, just another Hallmark conspiracy TM. I suppose you're supposed to exchage candy dabloons (oh save me, my spellings getting worse by the second!) or something.
I had a hawk fly over my house this morning while I was looking out the window. Neat.
Lunch. Yaay. Thank somebody Costco has hotdogs.
Josh > I meant to say this before, well done on your test.
Cheers,
kathy

The Rack of Doom -- Ooohhhh Spacebabie!!! That would the perfect name for a game card! Do you have a LJ? I've noticed there are virtual Trading and Tarot cards you can make for them, and this would be so neat for you. *^_^*
Yes, I know what you mean about the PITA and bras. I only wish I had your slim and trim tummy that makes the assets look that much nicer *^_~* -- yeek!!!
Tuxedo Bob Dole -- my hero! Actually I don't know much about the character, is there a web page I can look up his description?
Patrick -- Pirate Day? argh and avast and gimmee your gold! ::tilt's rakish pirate hat:: Guess this would be a good time for that "what pirate are you?" quizz *^_^*
Jen/Crzy -- Surfed you LJ last night. Wahhhhh.... Neat! Bright! Colorful!!! The Twin Towers photo... that was just gorgeous.
I'm finding that LJ's are like chips... you can't read just one. I look at my wimpy little 6 LJ entries, and groan. I so need to finish the Gathering Journals
Well, is Thursday, which is Family Obligation Day - so I have to book for some hours. Where do the days go? And house work... why do we have to clean and straighten and clean and straighten... and it just dissolves to chaos again the moment our back is turned? Found out the cat's new game is to peel the paint off the walls. Yes. Scratch, and peeeeeeeeeel. That's what I get for using that nice glossy enamel, for easier cleaning! The stuff is latex, and apparently will come off in nice big swatches if the cats do it right. Why do they find this kind of thing fun? Guess they love to see "mom" faint dead away when she sees the latest creativity. sigh... Got to repaint the house. I *hate* having to repaint. I just painted everything year before last!

I think Rayvn has the right idea and that we need a peaceful truce.
Yes I was upset about what Jan wrote. I see her a mother type figure, and my mother would never do that.
Pissy---He has subscriptions. and jeez I thought my brother had anger issues. Apparently We are all slime and cowards and he doesn't want anything to do with the fandom anymore. I tried to see his POV, I tried to be the sweet little pace girl and be his friend, but He just blew it. I can't anymore. I don't Hate him. I just don't like him.
and the fact that he INSULTS my Mara-sama:::Hisses:::.
I will still keep Jan as a friend as well as Mooncat. It's like Thanksgiving when you have to sit all the relatives down at the table and with those who can'ts stand each other...like the Offspring said. "You gotta keep them seperated"

Hey guys!
Just writing to say hey and congratulate the staff for what looks to be another great TD season!
One question though, and if if this may be a plot point later on it is cool. Although I don't see how it could be since both of these characters are dead but here goes. Is Persephone Asrial and Thersites daughter? I don't even think those got mated but, the physical similarities are there.
Asrial's hair and skin color. and horns.
Thersites beak, plus his horns are white in colr, so are Persephone's.
And those would have been old enough to lay an egg in 988 so..........
Thanks, BYE!

SJ - <<I'm gonna go find a vulva pillow to fuck or something.>> Well, with your charm and personality, I can see why you couldn't find a real one. <<Persecution Syndrome.>> Kinda like how Fred blames publishing companies for being blind and biast to his amazing skill as a writer but doesn't realize he gets turned down constantly for the simple fact that his writing sucks. Got it.

Aaron - <<Yes, the fandom is f**ked up. Why? 'Cause it's made of f**ked up people.>> You speak much wisdom. What annoys me are the people who pretend they aren't f'ed up. << no matter what we do, nobody's ever happy with us>> You will find this even more true when you start getting closer to the Gathering.

That's not the Jan I know and love... :(
Jan - I got your letter, I will write you back today. I'm still just trying to absorb what happened here before I reply.

PATRICK - Talk Like a Pirate Day? Boy, some of these holidays get weirder all the time. (I wonder just how accurate that "pirate-speech" is, incidentally, given how, when we were doing research for that pirate episode in the first season of "Timedancer", we discovered that a lot of the things that we "know" about pirates were historically inaccurate).
And, back when I lived in the suburbs, I also had opossums showing up occasionally on the back porch - and eating the cat food when it was put out there for our cats. (What the cats thought of it I honestly don't know).

<<Don't worry, I'm not here to throw this big can of gasoline onto the fire.>> Who are you, and why are you impersonating SJ? Throwing gas on the fire is like, his function in life.
Yes, the fandom is f**ked up. Why? 'Cause it's made of f**ked up people. Whatever the target demographic was, gargoyles seems to have resonated the most with people who were a bit, (or rather more then a bit) damaged. But hey, the Gathering gets bigger every year, Toon Disney gave us a bunch of free stuff, we got the DVD release next year... We must be doin' somethin' right.
<<THERE ARE NO GOOD GUYS HERE ANYMORE.>> Give the man a cigar. What was your first clue, adminship falling on me?
I'll let you in on a few things. First,I know I've been a half-assed admin. I haven't kept a proper lid on things. But, and you'll think this is hilarious, we had no choice. Dumlao left without teaching us how to work the machinery. We couldn't ban anybody if we wanted to. But we're over that now. The ban list is up and working, and it's damn near half a page long.
Second, no matter what we do, nobody's ever happy with us. People think we're random, arbitrary, and uncaring? Fine, let's get the game that goes with the blame. Which is why I'm not going to ban you. Because that would make people happy. And as an admin in the gargs fandom, that's not my job. :) If you don't like this policy, please complain to ketnar@kissmyass.com
And for the record, your LJ's a hoot. It helps your poor cable-less admins keep up with the world of sports entertainment. Keep up the good work.

I see I can't leave you kids alone for a minute.
Yesterday I got my SG-1 Season 1 DVD boxed set and finally plunked down for .mac. I figure that being able to use whatever features come out are worth the 50% discount I got off the sticker. And if I don't like the service after a year, I just won't renew it.
Spent all of last night watching Season 1 episodes of Stargate. It was cool.
Gunjack has pretty much expressed my thoughts on the whole Pistoff/Crzy/Jan/Mooncat orgy, so I'm not gonna bother to comment on that right now.
Heather: <<And he's dirty>>: Wow. Hasn't had a bath in 125 years...kind of like some programmers I know.
Patrick: <<Others out there may not be so discerning, but that doesn't mean they deserve to get ripped off, too>>: actually, it does. The stupid should be persecuted.
Taleweaver: <<I hear MTV will come out with a Spiderman cartoon later this fall>>: That should suck.
Spacebabie: It seems your breasts are the topic of much discussion. Mazel tov. <<I need my own car>>: Freeloading bum. <<We wrote down our lists of fears((including strange ones>>: Now that's a list I'd pay for. <<See I'm not the only one who finds that guy creepy.>>: No, you're not. He's DEFINITELY creepy. <<where else beside bed and…oh yeah the bath tub. I keep my hands above the bubbles>>: You obviously have no talent. <<I thought they would say Groovy as well>>: Nope. No one wants to step on Bruce's lines. <<He knows that if I can provide Jericho for Jen then He may get to bump and grind with some female characters on his b-day>>: No, I think he likes naked man beasts. <<Push her buttons just right and she’ll moan your name>>: Somehow I can't really picture demona doing that. <<I’d PAY to clean his equipment>>: Just go get a vibrator. <<Chicken fried steak in white gravy, grits, dumplings, collard greens… ewwww how can anyone eat that stuff?>>: By getting fatter, I'd assume. <<Where the heck is Josh?>>: Right here.
Aaron: <<I've been trying to cut down on lying as of late>>: But it feels so good. <<I think we need to launch a tax-payer subsidized fact finding mission to find out>>: Preferably one that sends me. <<The art of saying "Nice doggie." until you find a rock>>: HAHA. <<how do you think they financed Iran-Contra>>: Illegal arms sales.
Gside: <<It's the thought of unabashed hedonism that counts>>: This is patrick we're talking about. <<You keep your hands above your bubbles? But there are so many other parts of your bubbles they could enjoy>>: Especially in the tub. <<we all know what you're talking about>>: Personally I think she's farting. <<Probably busy with homework or more GRE prep>>: GRE is done. LSAT is next.
DPH: <<trying to reason out how to respond to the sudden revelation that he is the only true moralist in the CR>>: You know something? I've had it up to here with you constantly insisting that you're so much holier than we are. You *AREN"T* the only true moralist in the CR, everyone just has a different set of morals. You may be the only true Christian Moralist, but that doesn't mean much these days. After all, its only gotten you a bad back and a father you're afraid to stand up to. So blow it out your ass.
Shinigami: <<advances my feeling that the fandom is not and never will be a Clan, but many different clans>>: No shock there. <<Feel free to let the door hit you on the ass on the way out>>: That was uncalled for. Why is it that you're an admin? You above everyone have no right to flame.
IMPFAC: <<I tried to figure out where you live too>>: You probably shouldn't admit to that. It makes you seem creepy. <<Why is it that everywhere I’ve seen you post flames break out viciously>>: Cuz she's a master baiter.
Ravyn: <<flame wars are not cool to start>>: But everyone's doing it!
Christine: <<how about those Mariners>>: They've really gone down the tubes since Griffey left them. What? He's still there? Oh... (FYI I have no clue about the state of baseball these days, I just thought I'd say something remotely relevant).
Lain: <<:( .. or possibly :*(>>: Is that a comment?
Aaron: <<better yet, SpaceBabie's>>: There's certainly enough room.
Sevarius: I miss you when you're not around to flame people for me. <<someone (anyone) from Canada>>: Oh come on, would you really hold a grudge against someone for loving a canadian? They don't smell that badly 8-) <<this whole fandom is FUBAR.....and if you don't see that, you're either blind or consciously naive>>: Or a frequent of RHPS. <<You're Mom's Box>>: Odd words to leave with.

Oh, you people.
Wow, the fun that happens when I don't peek in here for a few days.
Although I suppose that I should be thankful that I haven't been lumped into this thing yet.
Don't worry, I'm not here to throw this big can of gasoline onto the fire. Who really cares, right? I mean, I could scream at someone, they'd scream at me, the other people in the room would scratch their heads and go "when's Pendragon gonna start?"
But I will just say a couple things.....I'm not gonna touch the whole issue of whether what Fred wrote was wrong (I haven't read it yet, I don't know, although I think it's hysterical you keep such tabs on him. Goddamn, you're his biggest fan. I'd be jealous, except that my own livejournal has nothing outside of a few dopey wrestling reviews.), or if Jannie was wrong about something, or what have you.....I'm not looking at issues of guilt here. I'm just gonna say two things, to the parties involved (and we all know who they are, why waste my energy listing names):
1. Who are you kidding? You know you're not REALLY scared. It wouldn't surprise me if this is some sort of thrill for you (just ask Crzy), because it leads right into:
2. Persecution Syndrome. Yes. Can we honestly believe you (and the others just like you) are Messianic martyrs, the eternal, long-suffering victims of a "psychopath" like Fred? Yes. Apparently. Yes, we can. And if we don't, YOU'LL REMIND US THAT YOU ARE. Well, just endure, little soldiers. All of this sacrifice and pain you must face because people just DON'T UNDERSTAND YOU, you the innocent smut writers of the world. Driven to the back alleys of internet literature for your harmless tales of incest & rape fetishism.
[Here's your opening to assert that even so, you don't deserve to have a "snuff fic" written about you.]
The wonderful and horrible thing about this all is that, as Gunjack so astutely pointed out, THERE ARE NO GOOD GUYS HERE ANYMORE.
WOW, Gunjack, you're right. We're all screwed up, and I'm not even being a smartass here with you. I'm shooting, total honesty. He's right, he really is. Val, in my bipolar state tonight, I've flip-flopped again. I don't think you're a bad guy. I question your political leanings and I'm not a fan of your girlfriend, but you're okay in my book again. We can probably never be friends because I'm too much of an asshole, and you're too in love with someone (anyone) from Canada, but c'est la vie, or however they say it in Quebec.
This whole CR is FUBAR.....hell, this whole fandom is FUBAR.....and if you don't see that, you're either blind or consciously naive. I laugh the mirthless laughter of the damned knowing that business will go on right as usual in a day or so.
This is so surreal. I feel like dropping acid and playing the doors. This is the end.....my only friend, the end....
Oh well.
I'm gonna go find a vulva pillow to fuck or something.
If I happen to get banned by Aaron or (more likely) Mara for this post (since I've been branded with the WARNING! label), if these are my last few words ever said in this forum after so many years, I'd just like to leave you with this:

Small talk -- A huge possum was on my back patio tonight, eating the bowl of catfood I keep there for my boy, Riot, when I put him out on a lead. Woah... BIG!!! Like a giant rat, but not as cute.
I've seen possums before, but not with their noses pressed to the glass of the back door before. My back patio is on the second level of my house too, so he climbed up the steps to visit my cat food bowl. Bold thing. Didn't startle at all when I went to the door and sat down to watch him eat. The glass, and bare inches were the only things between us.

IMPFAC> I wholeheartedly agree.
Please, everyone, chill ... flame wars are not cool to start, and this was obviously meant to start one. I know I would be upset if such a fic were written about me, but it seems like people are focusing more on Jan thanking Fred *for this friendship and support* (not thanking him for killing Mooncat, which would be sick) than on the fic itself.
Plus, wasn't the address thing way back when we were arguing about internet security? I think Mooncat mentioned something about how she doesn't post her address and info online, but then to make a point certain people found it anyway, just to prove how insecure the 'net really is, even if you try to keep your address and stuff secure.
Please, I don't mean to criticize anyone here ...

:: peers into the room hesitantly ::
I am really wondering now... How many of you in this room who have critized Mooncat for mentioning something that obviously disturbed her would NOT react similarly if you were to see yourselves as the subject of violent murder fic? Would you just say "oh, that's nice" and just be able to go about your day as normal, without thinking twice about it? Would you NOT mention it to your friends, even in passing?
In this day and age, can a person really AFFORD to be that carefree or careless? Just last week, there was a story in the news of a man convicted of multiple counts of aggravated murder for stalking and killing several women he knew from on the internet. I don't know about the rest of you, but things like that make me think twice before dismissing something like what Fred wrote as merely eccentric or just him "having fun."
Jan > I, too, pray that you will one day overcome your hate (and the denial of it). And perhaps one day you will also overcome the misconceptions, so that an intelligent conversation can be had between us regarding the fanfic that for well over two years you and Fred have been holding up as evidence of what a sick, sick person I must be. You can still think of me what you will, but at least _I_ afforded you the courtesy of actually reading Fred's "Joyride" and your reply before condemning it.
And to borrow a quote... that's all I have to say about that.

Hey guys, just one quick word from IMPFAC:
MC> Listen, I know you hate Jan. We all have people we hate. And I know you’ll deny this and will very likely respond by attacking me and my past. Fine. Lay into me-that reflects on YOU, not on me, if you do. I apologized for the wrongs I’ve done and will not be posting flames.
But for god’s sake, leave poor Jan alone!
“But she-“
NO! I don’t CARE what is done onto you. THAT’S WHAT YOU HAVE TO REALIZE!!!! Just because someone wrongs you you DO NOT HAVE TO FIRE BACK!!! That is MATURE AND NOBLE to me.
In fact, if you’re mature, you will STOP interpreting so much as flames (regardless of how you think those people posting feel about you) and forgive people’s past. Let things roll of your back. I’ve found that letting your ego go is a huge part of growing up. If you can’t do that you really don’t belong in the adult world. Recognize that people can change.
Jan is a friend of mine. She’s having a rough time and I care about her, and it hurts me to see people trying to make it worse for her. Leave the woman alone. She’s not the big bad wolf, she a woman that has strong opinions and defends them vehemently. Does she cross the line and flame? How about you stop asking that and looking at yourself for once. I’d have a much higher opinion of you (not that you care MC) if you let a flame go by unanswered. You did that from time to time when I was an asshole-why don’t you practice it again now?
You called me a drama queen once. Well, forgive me if I don’t buy that Jan is going to hunt you down. She’s a genuinely nice, warm lady who deserves a hell of a lot more respect than she’s been given.
You know, I tried to figure out where you live too (and failed, it was gratifying to find out though). If you post on the net you can expect this. People trace where I live all the time.
Please, MC, treat not just Jan, but EVERYONE, with more respect. Why is it that everywhere I’ve seen you post flames break out viciously? Time and again, people have said it, but I’ll repeat it: Chill.
Peace,

What's with the hugs to Mooncat? She doesn't deserve them. She _distinctly_ posted that malarky to get Jan publicly lambasted. I don't see why she couldn't handle this in private, or told a select few "friends" instead of bringing the general fandom public in on it. I've been around for quite awhile and I am fed up with all these flame wars. In fact, I usually don't come to room anymore because of them. Things were nice and calm for a change and Mooncat had to come out with this crap. It was something that should've been handled in _private_. Thanks a lot, Mooncat.

**scratches head for a second, reading through posts**
Well ... dangerous as it is, I'm gonna try to post on this, despite the fact that I really don't know anything about what was said in any online journals, and have not read Fred's new fic.
Honestly, though ... I hope I'm not wrong on this, but ... I don't think Jan was applauding the brutal fictional murder of Mooncat in Fred's stories. There's always that underlying sarcasm and irony in Fred's fics, and I'm hoping it was that that Jan was applauding. I hope.
That's not saying that it was right for Fred to write that ... heck, it's his crazy choice to do this. But I know that a lot of why he does it is for attention. He did it before with Crzy ... and I guess he's doing it again with Mooncat.
Mooncat, I know I would feel very weird in your situation. But I really don't think you have much to worry about ... I doubt Fred would act on the strange things that he writes, but if there's anyone to worry about, it would be him. I do not see what Jan said as threatening you ... it's a tad disturbing when seen in certain lights ... but I don't think she's threatening you. I'm not sure of the legal things here (the police would have to decide this for themselves), but I don't know if what Fred has said is technically a threat either. **shrugs** You have my sympathies, though, for the weirdness of having such a story written about you.
Yes, we all know that Mooncat isn't too fond of Jan. And yes, we know that Jan isn't really too fond of Mooncat either. But I could do without the constant reasons why to hate Jan/Mooncat more, or start hating them if you don't already ...
**shrugs** Just my crazy two cents.

*enters, takes a look around, and then takes in a deep breath. Pulls Admin hat off for just a moment, cradling in in her hands.*
MoonCat, baby, I'm sorry you've been made upset by this and I hope you feel some comfort soon. *hugs* This I'm saying as a friend, and am entitled, as a friend, to say without any bearing on my duties as an admin.
*tries to look at the whole picture.*

So much for the whole picture.
Jan: Pistoff's Live Journal is Public Display. So is yours. So is mine, it's linked rather visibly on my webpage. Anyone can read anything you put there unless the setting for that entry is either a>friendly only or b>private--where no one but the logged in journal owner can read it. To post anything as public is an open invitation for it to be read and commented about. If I were Mooncat, I wouldn't worry so much about Fred's LJ as I would yours, after having read it myself. Fred loves doing Joyrides, he has a thankless job, and a lonely existence. You have a home, friends, children, grandchildren for f*ck's sake, and claim a decent Christian lifestyle. What's your excuse? I won't comment on what you've written there, save that after reading it I can claim some knowledge as to why you hate Mooncat so much. And guess what... it's a poor reflection on your character. I simply don't understand what drives a good Christian woman like yourself to obsessing over someone you've never held in real conversation.
You do realize that Fred (who is supposed to have left this CR a long time ago of his one desire) wrote that Joyride specifically for you to enjoy it. Hell, in his LJ he mentions and bashes me- only because you had made mention of it in your LJ. YOU, Jan, are the reason it exists, and Mooncat, if you do try to take legal action, I hope you realize Fred isn't the only one you need consider as threatening to you. Jan, I hope after this post you still like me, flakey hippie chick that you claim me to be.
For the record- I'm too into war movies to have ever been a good hippie.
*puts Admin back on*
My fellow Admins may disagree with me, but I say as you were, Ladies. This room actually moves when there is a war going on and it merely advances my feeling that the fandom is not and never will be a Clan, but many different clans.

Comments and Various -
Thank you people who have shown concern and support. ::hugs:: It did make me feel better, and I appreciate that. Those who posted here, and those who e-mailed me, I want to let you know how much your kindness has re-affirmed my good faith in the caring and decency of most people, when dealing with other "real life" people, wether it be on an internet message board, or any other ongoing, stable community of people.
In response to those few who see no difference between fictional sexual fantasy, involving and aimed at no real person for non-hostile pleasure, and the fictional brutalizing of a real person, a creation of antagonism and an expression of hatred, I am sorry you cannot see the distinctions.
To the question of whether a rape and murder fic directed at a real life person like me constitutes any sort of threat or harm, here is food for thought. The probability off, say, Fox or Demona being harmed in real life is zero. They are not real, and no matter how many stories I might write them as lovers, or create fantasies of them giving pleasure to each other in unconventional circumstances, there is never any danger that these characters can be harmed in real life. The probability that a real life person like me, or any other real life person written up in a fic designed to show brutal harm, rape, and murder of said real life person is not zero. Real people are stalked and harmed all the time. The fact that someone would create a hostile kill/rape fantasy of a real life person is disturbing, because there is **always a possibility** of True Harm.
When you consider all those ordinary, or not so ordinary people who *do* wind up attacked in real life by people who've shown this sort of warning hostility, there is often one chilling detail in common. Either they, or the people around them didn't take the warning signs "seriously".
Maybe it's just an angry person blowing off a little steam. But everyday there are examples of "just an angry person" committing acts of road rage, or just slipping off that thin edge of reality long enough to commit an act of violence, mayhem, and murder.
Did anyone ever think, seriously, the regular Joe who delivered the morning mail would one day just start shooting up his fellow employees? Or that a disgruntled student would show up at school with a shotgun and a bad attitude? Or that an average housewife or ordinary fan boy would snap from something as simple as a really bad day, and decide to focus their upset on someone from afar that they have fixated on? For the most part, not until it actually happens and somebody is left bleeding on the ground.
Jan and Oracle went out of their way to track down my mother's home address. Jan posted several "clues" to personal contact information about me here in this very comment room. Why? Not because they are my friends. Jan then cheerfully expresses admiration for a fiction that depicts me brutalized and raped to death, one that was created *for her* by her friend Pistoff, and posted to the internet. Should I worry? Or show perhaps a little cautious concern?
Perhaps.
Why did I post her comment, and not Pistoff's murder rape fiction? For one reason, I didn't think the content of Fred's story would meet the ratings level of this message board. And it was also a bit long for reposting. Jan's comments were short. Jan is a regular poster here. And when all is said and done, Jan is the one who has greater access to me, in real life physical distance, and has shown the disturbing need to track down my real life details of my personal real life whereabouts, and to flaunt clues to such on this very message board.
I find both their actions highly disturbing, possibly threatening, and yes, I am concerned. Concerned enough to let my community know about it, at the very least.
That's about it. I don't want to cause a flame war. I am not offering curses or ranting at anyone. I am just letting my community aware of some facts that I find disturbing, and seeking the solace of that part of the community that is friendly to me, and it's protection in that the more people know of this, it lessens the probability or real harm to me. Or at least I hope it does.
Nuff said.

I will not apologize for my comments made in Pistoff’s LJ. I will only say that there is a meaning behind my comments that very few (3) people know.
Now, as for you, Mooncat - what a genius stroke on your part. You can’t just complain about something that was written about you that you are concerned about your safety over – you have to also include my comment. What purpose did that serve? If anyone wanted to see what I had written, you provided the link to Pistoff’s journal and they could have looked for themselves. But no, you decided that you would post it here so that everyone could read it. Why? Did I threaten you? Nope. Instead, I congratulated Pistoff’s Joy Ride for reasons that you don’t know nor will ever know. How wonderfully dramatic for you! Now you get to wallow and bask in the “ooohhh feel so sorry for Mooncat” limelight. But what others have failed to really stop and ask themselves is WHY did you post my comment?
If you are upset about the Joy Ride, then state that. If you are concerned for your safety, then express that… but once again – what did my comment have to do with that? Nothing. Don’t even go near the “you condoned it so therefore you are just as guilty” because that will certainly work both ways. You and others write rape fics – would this mean that you condone the raping of innocent women… do you rant and marvel over what such great masterpieces these are? Yep. So, before you even consider saying that because I appreciated the way Fred took up for me and showed (in his own way) support of a fellow friend – think about it. You, Patrick, and anyone else who wallows in the pits of fantasy rape and incest are just as guilty when you sing praises of the fics.
But once again – I can’t think of any other reason for you posting my comments to a Live Journal other than to attempt to bring pity to yourself and to make me look like a bitch.
You, my dear have shown your bright colors.
Rant, rave, carry on and pretend to be concerned about your safety because of Pistoff’s Joy Ride. Posting my comment had nothing to do with those issues. Nothing.
If Fred was someone to be feared by what he might do IRL because of what he has written (including numerous Joy Rides in the past) he would be on death row for mass murder. I recall when 99% of the people in here enjoyed, encouraged, and praised Fred for his Joy Rides. Now all of the sudden he’s to be feared and I’m a bitch.
None of you know why I wrote what I did and none of you will. But before you continue crucifying me, please stop for just a moment and look at what has really been done here. Ask yourself “what purpose of Mooncat’s inclusion of Jan’s comment serve?” Did she express concern for her safety that *I* was going to harm her in any way? Did I write the Joy Ride? No…. she used it simply as a tool to gain sympathy. I’m sure she is basking in the glory of it all as we speak.
c Wake up and see what the REAL purpose was in her posting my comment that was made on a Live Journal.
Christine> no hon, there will be no battles as far as I’m included. I have had my say and I’m finished with all of it.
Crzy> Checking up on everyone in mooncat’s forum? As I explained to you (and now I want others to also know) that is a glitch and I assure you that I have no concerns whatsoever what is said or goes on in that forum. I’m very limited on my net time these days and I certainly have no desire to spend what few moments I do have “checking up” or lurking in a place like that. That forum was set up for the purpose in which it’s intended and I have no problem, no complaint, & no argument towards that.
I have seen the forum once, when someone directed my attention to a comment that had been made there – but I have never participated nor objected to its existence. I am assuming that the one time I peeked in is when it caught my registration thingy and has hung onto it ever since – as that has happened in a few other EZ Board forums that I have visited.
Kathy> I have no hatred in my heart. I truly don’t. I do find certain issues, objects, and even some people disgusting, but no hatred. Thank you for the sentiment of the candle, though. (I’m sincere when I say that and not being sarcastic)
Just thinking here… so I guess it would be all right if I snagged comments made by others from this CR from a different location and posted them here? Even if it was an intentional attempt to begin a flame war? Hmmmm…..

Crzy> Grow up? A threat on Mooncat's life my butt. Hatred sure, anger, spitefullness, sure. But Pistoff saving up his money to come and rape or kill Mooncat? Please.. Get over yourselves. He's an asshole, you're a bitch, so what. You're whole point about his story about you was because he brought your children into it. That was stepping over the line I agree, but thinking someone's life is in serious danger when the so-called mad killer is poorer than the crazy man that lives in a box is just being a drama queen. Call him or Jan what you will but acting like Mooncat or you is Jodie Foster and he's John Hinkley Jr. is being dramatic.
Mooncat> Forget it, you're the queen of drama queens. Like you posted that link and quote originally because you feared for your life. It was a drawn out post saying "Look! Jan's a bitch! woo! Feel sorry for me!" I didn't see any concern in your original post, only the same hatred she has for you. Only you don't have a friend with an over active imagination and the urge to please his friends with slasher fics.

Three words describe me: Sloppy Impulse Control.
Exhibit A: Fanfic writer who commonly depicts scenes of brutal rape and physical abuse in her stories. I've read a few (it was a slow week), and I hope the scars heal some day.
Exhibit B: Psycho antisocial who commonly depicts scenes of extreme brutality, torture, and murder in stories. Glorifies hideous levels of sadism, justified by hatred of victim.
Exhibit C: Story written by antisocial psycho, depicting "poetic justice" (at least, that's how I assume it was intended) enacted on thinly-vieled avatar of Subject A. There's a history of this sort of thing.
Exhibit D: Upstanding Bastion of Decency sees story, and revels in (I assume) poetic justice dealt to A's avatar. The mind boggles.
Exhibit E: A discovers story, as well as D's elated comments, and re-posts them in a highly public forum. Initiate World War Three; accusations, defences, and denunciations begin to pile up.
Conclusion? I think you're all sick.
Mooncat writes about unspeakable brutality for amusement and titilation. The First Amendment aside, that is sick as all hell.
Pisstoff's idea of a fine-tuned rebuttal is a snuff fic that features the object of his loathing being killed in the most excruciating ways one can imagine. That is ALSO sick as all hell, as well as extremely frightening.
Frankly, I can't understand any of you. To me, you're two equally disturbing sides of the same brutal coin. Now one side of the coin is pissed at the other, and expresses it in their common language. The other side is understandably horrified (what human being wouldn't be?), but her horror sounds rather hollow when she's defended the abstract form of this crap day in and day out.
So basicly, everyone switched sides. The moralists are acting like perverts, and the perverts are preaching about decency.
It's enough to give me a headache.
I, at least, remain where I've always been: this form of typographical excrement is disgusting in the hypothetical (ie fanfiction), and infinately more so in a mood wishful thinking.
Jan... words fail me. Get a life. You might also want to dust off your apology skills.
Patrick: first amendment, baby. "If you don't like it, don't read it"; isn't that your standard line? Yes, it's different; this is a reference to real life, while you and yours confine yourself strictly to fantasy... But on the other hand, Pisstoff has never acted on his fantasies any more than you have on yours. Doesn't that make you roughly equal? Does it really make that much difference if his brutality has a fixed target, while yours is free-floating?
...And somewhere around here, someone is going to condemn me as supporting the gibbering freak. Bull. I think he's sick. I just recognize that many among the present company aren't much better. *shrugs*
...And I wonder... I seem to have garnered near-universal disdain from Pisstoff's associates. Does that mean Lain, Gabe and I might get the joyride treatment some time? Wouldn't that be a scream! Reduced to the victims of mindless, sadistic power fantasies!
Sickos.

Words fail me. No really, I saw Mooncat's post this morning and I really didn't know how to respond. I wasn't sure which bothered me more, the sick display of naked hatred and rage or the cheerleading that followed.
No, it was the cheerleading. And that's sad. Because said cheerleader was engaging in as naked a display of hatred and anger as the person that wrote the piece. I don't know about you guys, but I don't need that in my life. The world is too angry, too hate-filled as it is. If someone needs to express that much negativity then I don't want or need them around.

Mooncat - I want you to call the police and report this. You can cross reference my reports if you need to, just drop me a note for the case number. (although I have already posted it here). I'm serious... One day that freak is gonna snap. Our best bet is that we have an ongoing police record of his behavior.
More irony, Pissy was just celebrating FF.net banning the NC-17 fics... and this one definately is NC-17... oh yeah, and they also banned all fics that use actual people as well. Of course, if someone banned one of Fred's fics like this (like gargoyles-fans.org has in the past when he has assaulted actual people in his fics), then it would be censorship. (BTW.. I am not for or against the FF.net thing, since I never visited the site in the first place.)
Jan - Wow... I use to respect you. I know we have very different views on life, but I respected our differences. I have to say, that this changes everything. That you are condoning this behavior and cheering him on makes me sick. I'm sure you could care less and just come up with some nice new nickname for me... but sweet Jesus, woman... stand back and look at what you are doing!! PLEASE!! Don't let the hate of one person bring you down to that level! Mooncat's not worth it! NO ONE is!
Oracle - Get a clue. This isn't a joke. This is serious. It's not an isolated incident and therefore there are many people who keep an eye on Fred and continue to report his psychosis to the authorities. Saying that Mooncat loves Fred's journal is just assinine. After all, we have all seen Jan in the Gargoyles X forum but we all know that she has no love for Mooncat (who runs the forum). She is obviously there to check up on them.... just like Mooncat was there to check up on Fred... so grow up.

I want my veggies cooked but still firm with a lil crisp. As for cornbread, well it’s like Chris Rock said. There is nothing wrong with that.

Oracle - Let's see, people often mention bad things that happen to them in this forum, in the daily course of things. From car accidents to family ills, to a horrible day of classes or something disgusting that happened at work. But, gee, how wrong of me to mention when I've been written up in a snuff fantasy where someone publically posts on the internet their gory, painful, rape murder wish for me. Gosh, my bad. Why mention it when the same person's previous activities of a like manner have been aired here before? Or reveal how much the "fan club" of this gruesome and hate derrived fic, the one it was created for, *publically* enjoyed it?
Live Journal isn't a private diary. It's a Public Internet Display. If it's not **meant to be seen** it wouldn't have posted it to the Internet.
Yes, *someone's* "true color" is revealed here.
If someone Publically posts a rape murder fantasy of me being brutalized to death, I'm going err on the side of caution and mention it here.
I guess I consider the TGS as a community I'm a part of, and I am grateful I can tell my community when something this disturbing is directed at me, and be consoled by the support of those who care about me.
Yes, I am grateful for their consolation, because "big bad bitch" that I am, being made the star of someone's publically posted gory rape murder scene is hurtful and disturbing.
Sorry my petty concern over this, and the need for a little friendly support has annoyed you Oracle.

Siryn> The only person giving him the attention or Jan this time is Mooncat. This was in made in his journal, that I suppose Mooncat loves so much since she obviously reads it. It wasn't posted on his site, or any other fiction archive. Just like your journal is your venting spot, so is Pistoff's.
If I may ask, I thought flames were against the rules? Mooncat may not have called anyone a "bad name" or made direct degrading insults, but it was a flame inspiring post.
Mooncat> You may not be liked by some people Mooncat, but if you don't want to prove their point and look like a total bitch in return, then don't make a defensive response in a forum like this especially when the original post was in someone's journal. Keep it on your own journal. :P
This forum has had a crappy track record of making people feel unwelcome, and if Jan doesn't post here again I wouldn't blame her. We know people dislike each other openly, but this particular incident didn't need to be brought in here. Not to be cliche, but there is that thing called EM. Mooncat > Wow... you're right... and I dare say he's outdone himself this time. Quite impressive, in fact, for someone who claims fictionalized sex of any kind makes him physically ill, and who has railed against others for having rape themes in fanfic. But enough sarcasm. How anyone can continue to say this is NOT evidence a severely disturbed personality just boggles the mind. You can ask any psychologist out there... fantasizing the rape and murder of someone you're angry at is NOT a normal human behavior. Writing it down to share with others goes even a step beyond. But at least now certain people are finally dropping the facade and showing their true colors. Can't say the latter is shocking, though, 'cause I'm not really shocked.
Of course, now I suppose someone will be along any minute to tell us we're all taking this the wrong way and that the fact someone would take enjoyment from fantasizing the violent murder of a fellow human being doesn't mean they're not still a good, wholesome, moral and upright person. So since I know that's coming, let me just get warmed up and start rolling my eyes now. :P

Looks like I get to join the illustrious ranks of people Fred/Pistoff has written up into his snuff fantasies. ::waves to Crzy/Jen:: Only on top of the gory murder, I get to be fictionally raped to death as well. Gee, he really must love me. He gave this little rape/murder fic as a prezzie to Jan on his live journal:
http://www.livejournal.com/talkread.bml?journal=crankybastard&itemid=16472
And boy, she sure was ecstatic about it. And here I thought she didn't like that kind of thing. But seems like if a real person like me is the one being written into a murder rape fantasy, it's all aces with her. Or at least it seems that way in her written response:
" wow!

Outstanding work yet again, my dear friend! *hugs tightly* I was laughing and cheering the whole time I was reading it!! Thank you so much! You're my hero, Fred! marvelous, simply marvelous... *squeals like a teenage girl at a Backstreet Boys concert*
"Moonblob".. *LOL* oh, but we shouldn't be so childish as to call people names... *rolls eyes* (that was one of her latest snips at me) Some names just fit better than others *shrugs* ;) We're just better at naming people to fit their personalities, huh? *L*
Once again, thank you for the Joyride - it was fantastic!
*hugs and kotc*

Just goes to show, you never really know what a "good example" someone really is.

Imzadi> <<You like having winged naked man-beasts at your parties?>>: It's the thought of unabashed hedonism that counts.
<<No, it doesn't seem to>>: I propose that the reasons behind it are different, if the actions are not.
Heather> <<thinks of the polite word>>: There is none. It is inherently impolite. The opposite is much nicer, though.
Spacebabie> <<I keep my hands above the bubbles>>: You keep your hands above your bubbles? But there are so many other parts of your bubbles they could enjoy.

Actually, they had at least one other "Gargoyles" actor in the old Spiderman cartoon besides Ed Asner; David Warner (the voice of the Archmage) played the part of a mad scientist named Landon in a special "Spiderman/X-Men" crossover story who was bent on destroying all mutants, but wound up getting turned into a mutant by his own concoction.
I also liked the season opener for "X-Men: Evolution"; I particularly LOL at the scenes where Toad was hitting on Wanda. (I don't know whether that guy is very brave, or very stupid). Also, a bit of a chuckle (if maybe a dark one) at the bit where the President is addressing the nation after the existence of mutants has been revealed to the world, urging everybody to stay calm and not to panic - and then we see that he's got a whole troop of soldiers stationed outside the White House. So much for government reassurances. :)

Ah ha! I WAS right *lets off fireworks*
Yeah I mean Jeff Bennett appeared in loads of show ie powerpuff girls and I think the narrator of Earthworm Jim.
Oh!Oh!Oh! Let's not forget he did the voice of Kyle in Jedi Knight 2 with which he did his Brooklyn voice *hehehe no one seemed to notice the joke i did about that in my fic :P* I thought he was pretty good except when he dies. Oh GOD that was nasty on your ears, he sounded like he was being sick! Oh and it's nice to hear the person who did Maggies voice in their as well even if she was a bad guy

Silverbolt/Spacebabie - JJJ from Spiderman (90's version) was Ed Asner... who also did Hudson in Gargoyles.
I think that is the only link between the two.
Sorta like there being only one link between Scooby Doo and Garogyles... Frank Welker. ;) Anyone catch the new Scooby Doo series yet? Any other Gargs guys in there?
BTW... I was watching one of the billions of Land Before Time sequels the other day. (GOD it was HORRIBLE!!) but about half of the voices were done by Jeff Bennett. At least they are keeping our boys employed.
Also, Pimpin' for my girl, Stephanie Lostimolo has a new t-shirt sales site up. I'm working on getting the others up and moving too. :) Clicky!!

Mooncat: Re: Gray Markets and Anime
Well,as much as I frown on getting illicit copies of copywritten material, I find the import / export business makes things trickier.
If something is not available for sale in America from legal sources, I usually don't have much qualm with picking something up from fansub or one of those Hong Kong knock-off operations.
If something is good enough that I'll actually keep the fan-copy or knock-off, and it becomes released in Amercia, I'll buy the released copy. Admittedly, if the English voice-acting is bad, I refuse to by it in English language VHS. I insist on at least a bi-lingual DVD with subtitles on those occassions, because the English version is a flat-out defective product.
The lastest twist on this theme is Inu Yasha. We were given fan-sub copies about 6 months ago and previewed the series while it was still on TV in Japan. We were waiting for the DVD to get released in America. Suddenly, Inu Yasha is on Cartoon Network, free for anyone to see and video-tape. If it wasn't for the voice-acting, I might be tempted to simply skip buying DVD's and tape it. After all, they're making back the money now through the deals on the ratings we provide by watching.
The English voice-acting is also not-so-hot. Inu Yasha's voice is too high-pitched and has no gravel or texture to it at all, but he can act very well. The voice acting for Kagome, the lead heroine, is so half-hearted you'd think they were dubbing Sailor Moon all over again. I'm just hoping she improves as they go on. The other characters have all do an excellent job.
I think, overall, for how much I like this series, I'll pick up the DVD box-sets when they come out and get marked down a little. I'd much prefer to enjoy this series in subtitles with the original voice acting.

Green Baron> <<Oh do tell me. I love a story about Bob Jones.>> Nothing particularly scandalous, unless you count a couple that may or may not be urban legends (though I do like the one about the guy who graduated magna cum laude, just before coming out of the closet with a resounding thump <g>). But there was the time my roommate's parents were bringing her up to college for her freshman year...they passed by the back of Bob Jones U., which has a brick wall with barbed wire all around it. My roomie's mother got a VERY concerned look on her face, turned around, and started going on about "Ananya, I do not think it is safe for you to go to school so close to a prison." It took us *months* to convince her it was technically a school and not some sort of minimum-security ward. :-) There's also the guy who got expelled for getting drunk on Nyquil, the six-inch rule (nobody of the opposite sex closer than six inches at any time) and a truly bizaare dating hierarchy, where you can't date unchaperoned until your senior year. In their defense, their drama department and religious art collection are pretty good, but still...! My mind boggles. :-)

Fun activity yesterday in Poetry. We wrote down our lists of fears((including strange ones)) and circle two that don't go together and write a short poem with both of them. Mine was my infamouse fear of hornets and quirky fear of frying((I'm worried that the grease will sputter out and burn me)).
One guy has a slight fear of apples. and Kirsten((her poems are cool))) has a fear of seaweed and Christpher Walken. See I'm not the only one who finds that guy creepy.

MC > Glad the seller's being cooperative. Though if it were me, I'd still report the fraud after I've got my money back. You had sharp eyes and caught him this time. Others out there may not be so discerning, but that doesn't mean they deserve to get ripped off, too. I checked last night, and another one of those auctions was about to close. It got my attention when you mentioned the seller's name, as I remembered seeing that name quite frequently during the first half of 2001 when I was gathering things of eBay for the G2001 auction. He had another picture autographed by Marina for sale almost every week, and that went on for months. I got to thinking at one point poor Marina must have been chained to a table for days on end, just like Michael Jordan in "Space Jam", in order to have signed that many pics of Demona. Now I suppose we know the real deal.
Gor books > I'm puzzling now over how I missed hearing about these until MC and Christine started talking about them a few weeks ago. I was also a RPG geek and an a sci-fi / fantasy fan from junior high onward. I even still have my impressive collection of Star Trek and ST:TNG novels. But I guess I was just young enough that the heydey of the this particular subset of the genre missed the attention of my peer group. As I hit high school, it was the "Vampire" stuff and all the related Anne Rice influence that started dominating (um, no pun intended) the hardcore LARP end of the spectrum. For my group of friends and I, though, all "serious gaming" meant was pulling a weekend all-nighter around a table with lots of pizza and soda, waging battles against hoards of orcs or evil ninjas using multi-sided dice. :P
Eep... and now it's time to scoot off to work.

Andrea/Takari - Yes, I'm now addicted to Kim Possible. It's odd. I caught the Premiere (or half of it, since they showed two eps together, which they forgot to mention in their advertising, so I only taped one ep that night) and the show was cute, but didn't do anything for me. I'd had such high hopes, because Shego looks so much like Madame Hydra/Viper from Marvel Universe, but I was a bit disappointed by the villian's dialogue. Kim's and her side kicks had great dialogue though, and there is a definate "buffy-esque" quality to it all.
But then I read Glitter Doom's fan fic, and the craving to watch the show just jumped me. I did that this Saturday, catching it on the Disney Channel and on ABC where it's now part of the Saturday Morning lineup... and dang, I'm hooked! The episodes were better than the first one I saw, I swear! The one with Monkey Fist, the one with Bueno Nacho, and the one where Kim and Ron switch minds. I'm also becoming quite attached to the Proud Family. To top off my toon fest, the premiere of the new season of X-men Evolution was tres fine *^_^*
Christine -- the Gor Novels, well, I don't know if he repeats himself through the whole set yet. I do notice that his novels get bigger and bigger further into the series. It's the last four that command the highest prices on the net, including the Dancer of Gor one which I read from the middle out (bad me, shouldn't do that with books), which was all from the point of the librarian who studies middle eastern dance on the side, who gets kidnapped and sold into slavery on Gor, where she is highly prized for skill as a dancer. From what I could see in just briefly scanning, that's pretty different from the very early books which appear to be about Tarl Cabot.
I'll give a review once I go through them all. If anyone is interested.
Leo, yes, saw the credentials. Might explain why he's eager to get back the item and give me a full refund. A lot of societies it's easy to become a member simply by paying a membership fees. But they tend to frown on members who get caught plying fakes commercially.

GOR novels > I used to have a bunch of these, but I got rid of most all of them after about #8 or #9. Thought they started getting a little too repetitive. Same fate befell Xanth and V.C. Andrews last time I purged my shelves. It must be nice to get to that stage in an author career when someone can coast on the same thin plot for book after book and still make the best-seller list (heck, and V.C. Andrews has been dead for a decade, even). The GOR books, those first few anyway, I like for the setting and adventure-tales, and do my best to ignore the rest. I just can't get behind the whole "woman's not a REAL woman until she loves her collar" thing. But some of the old ones had covers by Boris ... and that's always nice ;)

Sorry about the delay for releasing the story. Unstable Operating System kicked in and I had to reboot. (*Makes note to reboot computer about 30-60 minutes before releasing story next time*)
Heather - < But in the stories, you've only put like... *checks her list* only six members. Is Yama still in the clan even after "Bushido"? > Here's the trick, though. The page on the Japanese clan has a section on Bushido and Eastern Morality.
Imzadi - <Get a new keyboard or get a new mouse. Then quit bitching and use the most awesome OS out there. Which version was it.>This was in a computer lab on a college campus. I don't remember the version number, but Gunjack probably knows <I'd totally agree with you, but the money doesn't come from trees.> Hey, I believe Mathew Lesko's books contain very detailed instructions on where to cut government spending to find the money to increase border patrol. Really, it's all about putting first things first when it comes to spending money. <I look forward to reading The Storm Itself.> *thinks about next week's story and smiles*
Happy birthday, Jennifer Anderson.
Guess what I did today: Hauled wood off a trailer so I could have it available for Winter.

Hi Patrick,
I spoke to the seller, and he's anxious to get back the picture and refund my money. I made him pay pal me the return shipping in advance. Full refund on arrival of the picture. I'm going to send it Priority with one of those tags that let the sender know it's been received. I'm not going to pursue it if I get my full money back. Too much time and effort to crusade. I know from experience with other scam artists.
Yes, bootleg of cartoon series is a peeve of mine also. As part of the JEM fandom for many years. I am annoyed by the low quality of such illicit items. I'm not as badly peeved if the item is of good quality. Quality is a savings grace that to me, covers many ills. I used to get het up about bootleg, and report it and rally against it when I found it on eBay... but the sad truth is that the actual rights holders aren't willing to take the time and effort to go to bat against the bootleggers, and the buyers of such just get pissed at you if you interfere with their supply. So I've learned to just let the people spend their money how they like as long as it does no grievious harm.
Right now I'm being seduced by Hong Kong grey market DVDs of my favorite anime. The subtitles usually are a mixed bag, but the actual anime is a superlative copy. Since I can enjoy the pure Japanese track, and later read a good subtitle script when they come out, I count it a fair trade for the extremely cheap selling price. I buy the legal commercial copies of animes released in the US, but most of the grey market bootleg I see is for stuff not released here at all, so I don't feel too too bad about buying DVDs with 5 to 9 episodes for about 10 bucks a pop. Corruption is somewhat sweeter when it's high quality with a cheap price, versus poor quality at high prices.
I'm a good girl enough that if I honestly like the anime, I will definately buy it commercially when it does show up through legit channels. *^_^*
Well, me for my daily exercise. Then back to writing and such *^_~*

MC> Aww man, thank goodness I haven't done any eBay stuff in a while. Hope you get the guy.
I do really hope that Icarus becomes Delilah's mate. Even if Delilah is cloned or something with going along with Greg's Master Plan... Oh well...
Gift for TGS staff... Clicky! It's okay, really. Thought I dedicated this to this season's Pendragon staff. :D
You know, being nice. To bring up their spirits of writing and drawing. I spent all 3rd, 4th, and 5th period drawing and coloring. Stupid teaching got in the way. :D
Well... Except Drawing 2...

MC > You should definitely report the fraud to eBay and leave a negative feedback. It sucks when people take advantage of the fandom. One of my big eBay peeves (and I know I've mentioned this before) are the bootleg videotapes of the series that are usually poor quality and way overpriced.

A mixture of a good and bad. If you watch eBay for Gargoyles items, you may notice the regular sale of an autographed Demona picture or a group picture, by Marina Sirtis, offered by PJ's Collectibles. The auctions for these pictures starts at $15 and sometimes get bidded up.
Just got my auction win ($15, plus shipping) of a Demona picture, and from what I can see, it's a copy photograph of the autographed picture, not an autographed picture itself. So, buyers beware! Even the tape marks on the original photo corners were reproduced in this obvious copy. The laughable thing, is that it comes with a "certificate of authenticity" by the seller. Feh.
Looks like a photo print. There is a distortion streak that is common with photo printouts, and the over all look is one of low quality resolution.
Anyway, heads up in case anyone who buys one of these pics from PJ's is actually expecting an authentic autograph.

For those interested in Forever Knight, it's playing at 11am Eastern on Scifi channel. Today's episode was a "A Far More Permanent Hell" which give us the origin of LaCroix. One of my fave shows, even if they did use the over used plot of the threat of an asteroid hitting the Earth and destroying all life.
off to get things done...

2)Will she play a part in the Space Spawn War like in the Future Tense 2198 spin off?

Yippee ay yay! Delilah! Delilah! Delilah! Woo! *calms down* I'm suprised that Brooklyn didn't recognis her... unless... *puts on his detective hat* it's the GRANDDAUGHTER of the original Delilah which Greg Weisman mentioned a few times!

Another "AWWWW" story for me. The Benedick/Demona kiss, so lovely. it seemed a bit rushed with saying "He likes her, she doesn't know what to do... Lets to do another surprise kiss to spice things up!"
Delilah? She's alive? How? Who? When? Why?
And... To I detect a bit of something for this, like something in Godfather 3, if you've seen it, you'll know what I'm talking about.
Harthoth being a "good" buy, something different, he's had many years to redo himself like Demona, overall, might be good character in the future. LOVE the Ariana picture!
Finally a Persophone(sp) picture! I thought she was pinkin coloring.
I think also everyone is doing their own version of Artus, this is the third version I've seen.
Also, doesn't Samson look like Jericho?

More Stargate marathon today: DVD's 3, 4, and 5 of Season 2. I also ordered Season 1 from Amazon, it should be here in a few days. Woohoo!
***SPOILERS***
First, some superficial comments. Its nice to see a long, meaty episode. Lots of topics are covered, albeit very superficially. A very good montage "before the storm" (natch!). I look forward to reading The Storm Itself.
Next, I *loved* the sarcasm and humor. It sounds like something I've written. The little sly comments at the end of various descriptions or thought streams...very entertaining. I was laughing out loud at a few points.
The artwork was great, especially the pictures of Ariana clinging to Harthoth's leg.
On plot points: I found Alex joining the illuminati interesting, and laughed at "Just say no" and "who killed kennedy" lines. Demona acting like a flighty teenager is a little silly and completely out of character, and it gets written SO quickly that its hard to absorb the behavior. But her comments about Benedicks mental state were very entertaining. Nice to see she's picked up some sarcasm. But someone please tell me boy bands have been outlawed by 2172?!
I look forward to seeing more development on Delilah and Angelica.
The only real criticism I have is that in the beginning of the episode, it seems like some lines were deliberately added to address comments made last week by Airwalker, myself, and others. Lines like "His desire hadn't changed, but his personality certainly had. It was safe to say he was no longer the impetuous, lonely, single gargoyle he had been when he first picked up the Phoenix Gate", which seem to pay direct reference to us commenting that Brooklyn was still too immature, or comments that he was too mature and where was our favorite immature greg w-like character.

Spacebabie: <<Nope I sleep with my hands above the covers>>: Sure you do. Jaden: <<But that's the best time to go to sleep.>>: Unless your house falls on your head.
Ravyn: <<I *live* in that desert section of the border with Mexico>>: Not any more! <<people get too upset as it is when the *heat* kills them>>: And then sue the state.

Its matzoh. <<from the blood of Palestinain babies>>: Maybe that's why it doesn't rise...nah, I think its the lack of yeast. <<than how Imzadi judges most points in my arguments>>: Excuse me? <<only to have the US declare martial law and outlaw Mormonism>>: That sounds like something the US would try and do. <<I'll take me cheaper foreign goods and busy ports, thank you>>: I think I agree with that. <<like the liberty to blast obnoxious loud music form your car>>: actually, we don't. Its illegal to be able to hear the music more than 50 feet from a car. <<What is best is if you can further and end by manipulatiung peopel to do what they want to do>>: Diplomacy: the art of telling someone to go to hell in such a way that he'll look forward to the trip. -or- the art of letting someone have your way. <<I have a yard, who better to work it>>: Robots.
Leo: <<the Lybian terrorists don't have a RPG>>: Oh sure, take all the fun out of terrorism.
Lynati: <<’d like to say “usually we aren’t this bad”, but unfortunately, we are>>: And sometimes much worse. <<I’ve actually completely stopped watching TV>>: I wish I had the resolve to do that. But frankly, there are some shows I enjoy watching, and they're not worth nixing because I feel some lofty ideal about the nature of TV. <<I can’t read the 12-point font on this screen at a distance of 18 inches>>: I'm sorry to hear that. I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't use my computer without special equipment. <<ph34r |\/|y 1337 s34s0n-s4l7 s|<i11z>>: Try Red Robin's secret ingredient. <<Your clan is a dysfunctional one>>: And in other news, der.
Gside: <<are they highly profitable?>>: I'd say so. They and Dell are the only profitable computer manufacturers right now. <<I was just going through listing each as I came to it>>: Then you need a hobby. <<I'd do it for free, and I'm on the continent>>: A steal at twice the price. <<I'd rather have something that responds>>: Yeah well I'd like a Cinema HD. We can't always get what we want. Especially if we're male and the thing we want is either female or technological. <<

Imzadi> <<Sure. Apple>>: But are they highly profitable? And just about every software company has innumerable bugs in every release.
<<ppl, cos, dunno are okay>>: Ppl and cos annoy me in this environment, dunno a bit less. They're a bit too contracting.
<<I loved how you mentioned in many times>>: I was just going through listing each as I came to it.
Spacebabie> <<How much does that cost>>: I'd do it for free, and I'm on the continent.
<<I’ll ask>>: Just for the record, it was during the Council of Elrond, and the new name was Anduril, the Flame of the West.
<<I knew that ought to make you happy>>: I'd rather have something that responds.
Heather> <<Is Yama still in the clan even after "Bushido"?>>: Depends on if we know it was in the master plan when TGS was being developed.
Christine> <<eggses, eggses it is, my precious>>: Alive without breath, As cold as death; Never thirsty, ever drinking, All in mail, never clinking.
