I woke up this morning and suddenly I was a year older than I was yesterday. Birthdays are funny that way. And then I looked at the DVD countdown... so let's all sing along with the Quarrymen now...
When I get older losing my hair
many years from now
will you still be sending me a valentine,
birthday greeting, bottle of wine
If I'd been out till quarter to three
would you lock the door
Will you still need me
Will you still feed me
When I'm...
Sixty-four days left until the spell is broken and they live again! Gargoyles Season One comes to DVD on December 7, 2004!

http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=694&ncid=703&e=3&u=/ap/20041004/ap_on_el_pr/kerry_voting <- This is getting ridiculous.
http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20040927/ap_on_el_ge/carter_florida_elections&e=5 <- I don't know what Carter thinks, but at least in my local the local head of the Democratic and Republican parties are involved the process of counting the ballots. I believe that is co-chair for who heads the process of counting the ballots. Remember a chemical solution that is ph balanced doesn't have the absence of acids and bases, but rather a balance of acids and bases. In this case, a balanced election board isn't necessarily one that has the lack of partisanship amongst its membership, but instead, has a balance (between a Republican and a Democrat) at the top to keep things honest.

Ok, I am looking at redoing the layout on the tgs website to utilize more screen space. Does anybody normally view the pages on a screen using 640 by 480 pixels (minimum windows specs)? I am looking to expand the pages to use 800 by 600 pixels.

HoE> <<I would have said "having your asses rocked," but that would sound kind of homoerotic>>: As is the face, or any other part of the body with an orifice (not unique to the opposite gender). And those body parts without orifices don't really sound as good when to be rocked.
<<I doubt you're a beautiful woman>>: I may not be a woman, but I am a sexy, sexy man.
<<I only asked about the Fig Newton because a man of honor always pays his debts>>: I appreciate that, and if my whims had taken me otherwise, I would have accepted.
Dezi> <<I just got a job>>: Congratulations. With any luck, you'll get your first paycheck before I get mine.
Greg> <<Those little pieces of paper with the dead Presidents on them>>: Now, now, a lot of money is imaginary/electronic, or foreign, which would mean dead kings.

Renee> TGS is not jumping ahead from 1999 to 2004. We have a detailed outline of when things take place (not the one you guys have, there's a staff only one). Things will proceed as they normally would.
As for 9/11. The TGS staff has yet to make a decision in regards to it. I have had some notions about how we'd handle it, but speaking as a New Yorker... well, if we can't do it exactly right, we won't be doing it at all... that's how I feel about the issue.

Hello Again (I keep forgetting what color I use, sorry if its inconsistent). Greg, thanks for reply on "The Batman".
I was wondering about the main "Gargoyles" TGS series. Right now it comes up to 1999, and then skips to after 2002 or something (I think if I remember correctly from the TGS timeline). So that got me wondering - is the series going to deal with 9/11 somehow? Or is that hitting too close to home / to serious for TGS and/or TGS staff members?
Thanks

Morgana> Okay, it is obvious I must explain this to you in a way you could understand.
Timedancer: Idea for new show by Greg Weisman. Disney Owns. Group of fans make fanfic series out of it.
Fanfic = Stories written by fans about show, movie, etc. Fans Not Own. Not official. Will never be on TV.
Disney = Big corporation (a lot of guys in suits), makes movies, tv shows and owns parks, in exchange they get money. Will make new shows if think they can make money off it. Buy the DVD.
Money = $$$$$$. Those little pieces of paper with the dead Presidents on them.
DVD = Little disk with shows or movies on it.
Jetix = Block of cartoons on network owned by Disney.
You = Stupid person with reading comprehension problems.
Reading = Remember the alphabet. It's the basis of reading and writing. Somehow you were able to coast through that, your teacher probably didn't care. Learn to read. It will help you.
Comprehension = A skill you do not have.
Me = Smart guy who's been around and unlike you, knows what he's talking about.
Now, I'm giving you a choice.
Go Away or Get Smarter.

OK I gotta cool little personal announcement: I just got a job!!!! I'm not even completely graduated yet (in December) and now I'm the photog/editor/teleprompTer operator of WIIH, a Spanish station here in Indianapolis. WEEEEEEEE! Oh, and dumb question of the week: I tell people I got the job at a Spanish station, and they say OH, you speak Spanish? So I tell them no, but the Chinese I learned will be verrrry helpful. Yeah.
WEEEEE! I will be slightly above the poverty line!!!!!
And to add to that: I get to go see REM for the third time on 10/20 here in Indianapolis. That's always cause for celebration!!!!

Patrick: I would have said "having your asses rocked," but that would sound kind of homoerotic. Ever since I saw Rush a month ago in DC, I've been telling people that they rocked my ass for three hours. I only recently realized why saying that might be a bad thing. Oh, and if you're old enough to play air guitar, you're old enough to rock out. When my brother and I saw Rush, we sat in front of a couple in their 50s. Probably as old as the band members.
GSide: Don't flatter yourself. I doubt you're a beautiful woman, which means you're not worth the trouble to stalk.

Season four of "Gargoyles" is being written, it's coming. Can't say when just yet, but it's coming. The season premere is currently in edits and I'm personally writing the finale.
We have several rough drafts already. Not going to say any more, but we should have announcements in the next few months.

Ross: TGS is a very labour-intensive project, and it’s been going for a long, long time. I was on it from July 2002 to December 2003 and by that time, I think most people who had an interest in the project had done a year or a few years on the project and now were moving onto other things, whether other writing or busier personal/professional lives. I haven’t been on staff for a year but I know at the time I left there were new seasons of ‘Gargoyles’ and ‘Bad Guys’ lined up (both of which looked excellent, last I saw), and I think there’s still some interest in doing ‘Timedancer’. The problem with it is having enough staff to keep the project moving. If you only have one or two people doing a majority of the work for each season – as was the case in just about all of them – it’s inevitable that there will be long delays.
With regard to ‘Pendragon’ (my favourite, too! ;)), Season Four was released just last year and there were twenty-four episodes of that: plenty to keep you going if you haven’t checked for a while. I don’t know if TGS intends to continue that series, but since Todd and I left my impression was that they wouldn’t (simply because we did 90% of the outlining and 98% of the writing in the last season).
Of course, things may have changed considerably so you’d have to ask someone on TGS to be certain. Or, indeed, join as a writer yourself. :)

I know I may get tomatoes thrown at me for asking this, but can someone please fill me in on what's happening with possible more seasons of the fics written in TGS? I was a huge fan about 4 years ago, but since then I've been reading other fanfiction. I check back in once or twice a year, but I don't remember this Comment Room being around last time. I also tried writing some of the TGS staff originally (Like Xanatos, Christy Smith Hayden, etc.), but I don't blame them for not writting back. I see that Todd Jenson has left some messages in the past few weeks though, so I'm hoping at least he (or maybe others) can let me know what's going on.
Basically, I'd love to see more seasons of Time Dancer, Dark Ages, and Pendragon (my fav). The existing seasons kinda left us wanting more, and I've never seen anything that says the project has been discontinued. Even to this day, with no new fics for the past few years, it still says "Stay tuned..." There's even a new series I don't remember being around "Bad Guys," even though there's nothing posted yet.
I guess I'm hoping that there's another place you all moved to. So many talented people were involved with the first seasons of these series, I don't understand how everyone could give up on it all at once. Someone please clue me in!

GSide> I didn't even know that it was also the name of a Corinthian. But I'm sorry that you had to search for it on Google. It tells me you know almost nothing of the unsung genius of Blue Oyster Cult, the thinking man's hard rock group. But a promise is a promise, unless it's a turnip. So, do you still want that Fig Newton? They're kind of chewy by now. I mean, more so than usual, since they've been ripening in my cupboard.
FYI: Anyone who lives in my area and wants to get their faces rocked should know that Blue Oyster Cult is playing a club in Northern Virginia towards the end of October. The name of the club is Jaxx, I think. I'll have to double check blueoystercult.com. I saw them in New Haven back in April and despite their advancing years, they still put on a kickass show. Rock and roll.

Wow. I didn't realize Greg Weisman's birthday was so close to mine. I turn 24 today. How old is Greg? Speaking of Greg Weisman, one of the things that pissed me off most about the Goliath Chronicles was they more or less pushed a great plot point to the side. Greg made it clear with "The Journey" that Goliath and Elisa were dating, but the people who took up the torch more or less stuck this in the background. Ah, well. At least it's being handled well with TGS.
Oh, by the way, after this post, I've decided to start posting comments using my internet domain name: Harvester of Eyes. I'll give a cookie to whoever can tell me where the name comes from. Hello you all! Happy Birthday Greg!!!
It has been time long since I posted a message here. I am happy becouse the release of Gargoyles Season One in Dvd. I thought about buying it on internet, but suddenly I realised that the format code, the region code ..(or whatever it is...) is 1 (Region1). Here in Europe, our Dvd-Players read Region2, so a Dvd Region1 may not work. Does anyone knows about Dvd Gargoyles Season One Region 2 Release??? UK release or somthing like that??? 6th!
Work on the G2005 website is coming along nicely with all modules to be posted soon.
In the meantime, please stop by and register so that you can receive the latest information via the newsletter!
The first one will be released on Friday so tell your friends and get them to register too. (The Yahoogroups newsletter you may have been subscribed to has under gone some kind of data corruption, so you need to re-register at the website to get the updates. )
In the meantime, we are indeed having a costume contest! Click the link or go to the Contest page at gathering.gargoyles-fans.org for all the information. Send us your pics and we'll post them for all to see.
Bonus points if your photo depicts you promoting Gargoyles at a public event!
Thanks!

Third! I am the Wiggin! You know, I cant help but see a connection between the upcoming presidential election and all the hurricanes in Florida. You think somone is trying to say something? Or perhaps trying to keep the state empty until mid November? :P

Superhero Insurance - Interesting idea. Hmm... "The standard policy provides coverage for spiders, bats, and hulking green monsters, but the fine print contains an exclusion for Kryptonians, including acts of Zod."
70 days left until the spell is broken and they live again! Gargoyles Season One comes to DVD on December 7, 2004!
