Josh>>>Well long time no see. You won't find me on the DVD. I did my best to avoid the camera, that was of course due to the fact I hate being viedo taped.

We need to clean up the spam. The only LotofSpma or Spmalot I want to see is on Broadway.

But I'm not in/near LA anymore, I live in Fremont (up near San Jose).

Anyway, after watching some of the freaks on the season 1 dvd interviews, there is no way on earth I'd allow myself to be interviewed. Some nut whining about how she didn't have any friends in high school and gargoyles fans are her family.

HARVESTER - I'm sorry to hear about your recent computer troubles, and hope that you will soon be properly on-line again.

I'd like to suggest, as a piece of friendly advice, that you see about installing a spam filter as soon as you can; that should keep almost all of the spams and viruses out of your inbox. (The one exception that I can think of is when the spammer decides to send them out in such a way that they appear to come from your e-mail address, so that, when they get bounced from protected e-mail addresses, the "Message undeliverable" messages wind up in your inbox rather than in his; that's happened to me on a few occasions.)

Stephen: I'm sorry to hear of your loss.

And to the CR as a whole, sorry for my prolonged absence. I picked up a mass-mailing worm last week, and even though I flushed my system with Norton and the worm seemed gone, Adelphia pulled the plug on my internet and refuses to put it back in until I reinstall all my hardware. I'm currently posting on my uncle's computer. Hopefully, I'll be back soon.

Greg: I think that cel is from "Generations." In which case, no sale. I don't care if they're giving it away. I simply cannot forgive that episode for the ludicrously cliched assassin. How could destroying the gargoyles be his lifelong dream? They were frozen in stone back before this guy was born!

Hi everyone,
My name's Chad Kultgen. I'm involved with producing some components of the Gargoyles Season II DVD and I'm doing a little research for a potential bonus feature.

Nothing's set just yet, but we're thinking about doing some fan interviews and possibly some mini-documentary type pieces with fans in their homes (potentially displaying some of their favorite Gargoyles memorabilia, etc.)

As I said, this is all tentative at the moment, but I'm just trying to get an idea of how viable the production of such a piece of bonus material would be.

We would be looking for someone who lives in the Los Angeles area. If you or someone you know is a huge Gargoyles fan in Los Angeles, please feel free to shoot me an e-mail.

Thanks,
Chad Kultgen

From my family and myself, thank you...

For those friends and fellow fans in Florida, I'm giving this open invitation to attend the services for my Grandfather's funeral. The service will be held at the Bayshore United Methodist Church on MacDill Ave., at 10am this Saturday. Any who can make it are more than welcome to help us show respect and celebrate my grandfather's life...

Again, thanks to everyone for your condolences and well wishes for us all...

I associate Kill Bill more with swords than guns. Off the top of my head, we only saw three guns get fired in that movie. Bill when he shot Beatrix in the head, Vernita with the gun inside the cereal box, and Budd shooting rock salt into Beatrix' upper torso.

(And yes, just because it can never be said too often, Bill is one of the coolest characters in the history of film.)

I might be going to a film school in Orlando soon, depends on if I get accepted. While there, I fully intend to take advantage of their non-existent gun laws and get myself a piece. Already got nine swords in the house. Need to get myself a handy fire arm.

Why you ask, who cares, guns are cool... IN YOUR FACE "DEADLY FORCE"! ;)

Greg> <<What does making guns and babies have to do with Kill Bill?>>: Guns go well with Kill Bill. Generally, people don't want their babies exposed to Kill Bill. The babies came from Gunjack forgetting the n in his name, making him one who makes things that go Goo (I might have interpreted it as Guu, but it's hard to make a Jungle wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu reference). Kill Bill came from his mention of the Crazy 88. Of course, I have now kill whatever mild amusement may have been in those statements.

Yesterday, at 7:30am in Omaha, Nebraska, my maternal grandfather James F. Edwards passed away in his sleep... almost just over a year to the day that his wife, my grandmother, died...

We're flying him home to lay him to rest with grandma... the funeral is to be this Saturday.

We knew this was coming, but damnit it doesn't make it any easier.

Wanted to let those that I still count as friends in the fandom to know...

Halcyonia: Welcome to the machine. I'm still somewhat new to the fandom myself. Well, actually, I watched "Gargoyles" all the time back in the mid-90s, but I only recently learned of the existence of this website, and of the huge Star Trek-esque following the show has gained (an interesting analogy, since at least one actor from each of the first four Trek series had either a guest or recurring role on Gargoyles). I don't know how long you've been watching the show or how many episodes you've seen, but you picked a good time to start. One of the best episodes will be on in a few days. God, I wish I could watch "Future Tense" again for the first time (unless you've seen it already, in which case I'm retarded. Seriously, I am retarded. Ask anyone here). And it will be followed shortly thereafter by a 3-parter which also kicks ass.

It's funny you should mention the show's treatment of "villians." That's one of the things that first brought me to start watching the show. There's no black and white anywhere in the Gargoyles universe. It's all shades of gray. I don't know if you've seen the two-part "The Gathering" (which will be shown on Toon Disney this Friday the 13th and Monday the 16th), but that demonstrates this fact nicely. It's also demonstrated again a few episodes later by one of my personal favorites, "The Reckoning." Scratch what I said earlier. Thailog just might be the only true dyed-in-the-wool villian on the show. Although, if you think about it, he really can't help what he is. So, never mind, that's gray as well.

Oh, and one word of advice: having watched the Goliath Chronicles back when they first aired (and them being the main reason I wasn't too upset when the show ended), the only one really worth watching that holds a candle to the first two seasons is "The Journey." After that, you really should read the Gargoyles Saga instead.
