This is coming a little late in the day because I just got home from a company seminar (because that's such a fun way to spend most of Saturday), but Demona and Andrea would never forgive me if I missed saying that there are...

Taleweaver> <<What should New school Sci-fi be>>: I quite enjoyed Farscape, and many people are looking forward to Serenity. Whough, with Rings getting actual critical acclaim, fantasy may be the new sci-fi.
Spam> Someone's actually bothering to spam us? Too bad they're switching IPs.
Crzy> <<hears her name... ears perk up>>: I was just geting schooled on fandom geography, because of that DVD guy.
And it's off to Philly again for some more floor removal.

Demona: "That will teach you humans to Spam us!"
*The Spambot staggers back, clutching its bleeding face. Harvester shakes his head and sighs.*
Harvester: "Real smart move, sweet cakes. Remember what happened the last time you tried to teach our species a lesson like this?"
Demona (eyes glowing bright): "WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL ME?"
Harvester: "And now for my next impression... Jesse Owens!"

Todd and Harvester> Actually, that was this same experience I had with Pendragon. I think it got pre-empted for a high speed pursuit or something I can't remember, but when I originally saw it, Pendragon was further down the line-up. When it showed up again on Toon Disney, I kept thinking, this is a better place for the ep. I never thought that was the intended air order.

Todd: Your comments on the order reminded me of something amusing. For some reason, back in Fall 1995, the Disney Afternoon showed "The Price" immediately after "Outfoxed," even though "The Price" comes right before "Avalon" on the timeline. I remember that the last episode they originally aired before the Avalon three-parter was "The Cage," and there is a shot in Act III of "The Cage" where Owen is prominently waving his left hand, which is made of flesh. But I've looked back over my season two tapes, and from what I can see, that's the only time it was really prominent.
But anyway, I agree: the timeline should not be messed with.

I don't think that you *can* move "Pendragon" to an earlier point in the line-up, because it has to be set after "Mark of the Panther" (the episode immediately preceding it in the episode order list). The trio mention Diane Maza meeting Goliath and Elisa in Nigeria when talking about what they've heard about the World Tour; that line won't make any sense if "Pendragon" takes place first.
I definitely don't see any point in altering the order of episodes that Greg designed.

I think a second season DVD should cut just before Avalon. Its a natural break in the story as the series movies from New York to the World Tour. I'd move Pendragon up a couple of episodes in the lineup, but that's just me.
An intriguing question has popped talking about Revenge of the Sith today. With this being the last movie and Star Trek cancelled for the time being. That means the old school Sci-fi is out. What should New school Sci-fi be. I'm hoping it can mature beyond the Matrix, but what should the next century be like for Sci-fi?

DT> I think two 26 episode sets is the best idea. We get the whole season in two installments, it's affordable, and it's divided evenly.
They'll all be on your shelf eventually. That and, unfortunatly the World Tour does have an unpopular rep attached to it, I've had to correct many people about those not being the infamous Goliath Chronicles. Just release that set with the Gathering, Reckoning, Hunter's Moon, etc.

Greg Bishansky : "They'll most likely follow suit with what other season DVDs that have been divided do... two 26 episode sets. It makes sense." Not necessarily, the second season of Rocky & Bullwinkle had 52 episodes and all of them were shown on the DVD.

GregX: Yeah, I know it's impractical, but I just don't want to break up the story arcs. And season two had three major story arcs. Having twenty-six episodes per set, while an even number, is not doing the story arcs justice. But if you have any better ideas, let me know. :P

Hopefully I'll be back soon (this is, again, someone else's computer). I'm trying to find free time to store my essential files before I reformat. This came at such a bad time, but then, everything does.
Seems I've missed quite a bit.
I was just discussing this with Taina. Since Season Two is 52 episodes, it's possible we'll see more than one Volume. Taina was thinking pre-world tour, world tour, and post world tour. Only problem I see with that is that there are only nine post-world tour episodes, unless you count "Future Tense," which is ten. Whatever, I'll let Disney make those decisions. All I'll say is, I'll buy however many DVDs they decide to put out. It'll be good to hear Goliath use the word "terrorist" again. I hope.
