BELATED HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE!!!

***** TGS CR INFORMATION UPDATE *****

CR ARCHIVE:

The 2005 TGS CR Archive has been updated to include the weeks of November 28, 2005 through December 26, 2005, for a total of four newly added files. The 2006 Archive has been updated to include the week of December 26, 2005 through January 2, 2006. Navigation on all pages within the section has been revised to accommodate the newly added 2006 archive.

The framed and 'consolidated' versions of the TGS CR Archive were removed due to results of a recent poll leaning in favor of the 'original' archive format over the framed and 'consolidated' archive formats.

Spen> Because you've been here too long, that's how.

Admins have historically been chosen either by suggestions made in the CR and/or through email to other admins and given a general agreement in the CR - or they are appointed by departing admins. There isn't really anything scientific or very democratic about it usually. The idea is that suggested/chosen people will have been active in the CR for awhile and know its people and mechanics, and will be able to either monitor the room fairly frequently or be able to respond quickly to complaints sent through email should a situation requiring their attention occur. And of course, the appointee must agree as well.

Re: Picking Admins

Darn it Greg, you told me involved sacrificing a chicken, a game of twister drinking Dr Pepper with some Amaretto.

SPEN> That info is classified, all I am at liberty to reveal is that it involves clandestine meetings, rituals and a ceremonial branding.

On the slow side this week.

This is a question I had a few months ago, but it was never answered. When there is a vacancy in the admin ranks, how is a new admin chosen?

Gside: you know they're prolli only being sued because they didn't give a cut of the cash to the creator...if they had then he may've been more loose with his 'copyright' infringement issues.

Luminous Aphrodite> <<I'm picturing nuts and bolts all over the floor and a Dalek casing or something>>: Not Dalek on Dalek porn, but "Dr Who's foes capture three naked 'disco babes' in the 18-rated DVD. They chase the girls around their spaceship and grope them with their plungers." Unfortuately they've been sued by the Daleks' creator.

Na zdorov'ya.
