The room's over 120K, so I'd say that a wipe would be justified.

There's not really enough posting going on to justify it, I don't think.

I can wipe it this weekend if you want though :)

Just a little something me and a few other people have been working on.

So, a few people and I have been working on a little project for the fun of it. A Gargoyles Wiki. Not quite done yet, and hopefully the comic will keep coming out, so it will never be done. But so far, so good. It was JEB's idea, Todd provided most of the content. Taina most of the images, and Kythera gave us our cool logo.

And hey, this week is the show's twelfth anniversary, so when's a better time to unveil this.

Natural or bottled blonde> I'd like to know which Timedancer mentioned she dyed her hair. As far as I know, Gwenyvere picks up her blond locks from her father's side, or more specifically from Hudson. At least that was in her bio many moons ago.

Talia Winter vs Lyta Alexander> I don't think this was anything B5 planned. My take on the situation was that they started with Lyta for the pilot. In between the filming the pilot and when the show was picked up, the actress who played Lyta found other work. You'll recall that a few characters were recast from the pilot movie to the cast of B5's first season, including the doctor and first officer. When they needed a telepath they recast the role and tossed in a plausible backstory to explain the differences.

Later on, the actress playing Talia and JMS had a parting of ways. Maybe they saw the relationship with Garabaldi wasn't gaining any traction or maybe the actress wanted to free up her schedule for other work. Sometimes being a recurring character is worst than having no work as an actor. You can't accept other work because you're on-call and the time you're not working you don't get paid or paid as much. I want to say she was the bitch blonde on 'Herman's Head', but my memory there is very fuzzy.

In any case, I believe it wasn't in JMS master plan, but one of the thousand behind-the-scene course corrections he had to make over the entire run of the series. He was just was a dab hand at integrating the changes into the show. For more info on the subject, check wikipedia.

Another reason I'm not very interested in this topic. You're better off asking someone who believes in fate.

"Shooting a video is fine if you're the singer. You just sing into the camera. And the guitarist can twang his guitar. But what's a drummer supposed to do? I just have to jerk along with the music feeling like a dick." -Stewart Copeland

If there's a place where you absolutely need to be, then by logic, there is at least 1 place where you absolutely don't need to be - a place where your presence would screw things up. For example, two groups of people *need* to establish a peace treaty, but they don't trust each other. The sudden presence of an unexpected person would throw the whole process down the drain because both sides would blame each other on who let the unexpected person slip through and thus the peace treaty is never signed.

On the other hand, there is an even deeper question to be asked: who determines where anybody "needs to be"?

Ok, I've been using Netflix to rewatch the whole Babylon 5 series and am confused about Thalia Winters and Lyta Alexander. I just got through watching the episode "Divided Loyalties" and I'm more confused. What was the point of bringing Thalia Winters on board only to seemingly get rid of her?

dph_of_rules
Whatever happenned to simplicity?

I have a pointless little question. It was mentioned in a Timedancer story that Gwenyvere's hair is dyed blonde. So what colour was it originally?
Spen

In another sense, if one place is where you need to be, every other place is where you do not need to be. It's too general and too generic, and as such it is not an especially interesting point to ponder.
Lynati

DPH: Where you don't need to be is a little vague. I mean, cosmically, does anyone need to be anywhere? On smaller levels, we need to be places, but if you think about it, Avalon took only took them where they needed to be. They stayed where they were because they WANTED to. They could just as easily have gotten back on that skiff and tried again without even getting off at their destination. Although, there were a number of times when they had no choice but to stick around (such as when they were at Scotland or Queen Florence Island). I should go back and tally all the episodes where something made them stay where they were until the job was done.

Don't worry; My various . . . allies . . are working on so-called 'ultimate' temporal weapons to launch a so-called 'ultimate' pre-empitive strike against DC. The target time & location: hundredths of a second before on the exact coordinates where DC 1st appeared. If the mission succeeds, he never exists. If it fails, well, that explains why dc does what he does: self-preservation.

Umm, interesting . . no takers on what the opposite of "where you need to be" would be.

Peace!

If Avalon sends you where you "need to be" - (a very specific location), what would be the best opposite of that? At any given time, there are several places where you "don't need to be", so what would be the opposite of "where you need to be" that implies a very distinct location?

No, I don't believe in bad luck on Friday the 13th, but I do believe every year has a Friday the 13th. There's only 14 possible combinations and I'm just going after the 1st Friday the 13th of every combination.
1,2)Leap year or not - January 1 falls on a Sunday. Presto, January 13 is a Friday.
3)January 1 falls on a Monday and it's not a leap year. That makes April 1 on a Sunday and thus April 13th is on a Friday.
4)January 1 falls on a Monday and it is leap year. That makes September 1 on a Sunday and thus September 13th is on a Friday.
5)January 1 falls on a Tuesday and it is not a leap year. That makes September 1 on a Sunday and thus September 13th is on a Friday.
6)January 1 falls on a Tuesday and it is a leap year. That makes June 1 on a Sunday and thus June 13th is on a Friday.
7)January 1 falls on a Wednesday and it is not a leap year. That makes June 1 on a Sunday and thus June 13th is on a Friday.
8)January 1 falls on a Wednesday and it is a leap year. That makes March 1 on a Sunday and thus March 13th is on a Friday.
9, 10)leap year or not, January 1 falls on a Thursday and February 1 is on a Sunday and thus February 13th is on a Friday.
11)January 1 falls on a Friday and it is not a leap year. August 1 is on a Sunday and thus August 13th is on a Friday.
12)January 1 falls on a Friday and it is a leap year. May 1 is on a Sunday and thus May 13th is on a Friday.
13)January 1 falls on a Saturday and it is not a leap year. May 1 is on a Sunday and thus May 13 is on a Friday.
14)January 1 falls on a Saturday and it is a leap year. October 1 is on a Sunday and thus October 13th is on a Friday.

whoops hit the enter button too soon.

I'll have to read all the stories everyone is suggesting and have our editor tom read them as well. Then will have to decide on one to illustrate for a comic.

Shara - [jeanie54_2000@yahoo.com]

haha so would we be able to enter one of our covers in the MGC challenge or would that be unfair :P
Shara - [jeanie54_2000@yahoo.com]

Ironically, this talk of illustrating TGS stories comes at the same time that MGC is holding a Gargoyles comics challenge. I've been doing a poll on my DevArt page to help me decide what topic to do and I've had several people vote for a TGS story. I would have a hard time deciding which of the TGS stories I did to illustrate, although I'll admit to "Consequences" being one of my favorites. I just wish I knew what I did with my storyboard sketches -- the desk is always cluttered with them when I'm writing.

DPH: How many of the robots are actually putting pressure on the ground? There's quite a few of them that fly. Also, these artwork context quotes: would these be for old stories or stories coming out?

And this is kind of old now, but I thought of a few more stories that might have potential illustrated. For Pendragon, I've got "Night of the Weird," "Fata Morgana," and "No Mercy." For the main Gargoyles series, I think that "Consequences" and "Lethe" could be interesting. For some reason, I keep inherently picking long ones.

Ok, this is announcement. We're looking into the possibility of expanding the standard story credit line to include artwork context quotes for stories that have artwork. Haha if I see stan lee walking by in one of the episodes of heros then Ill know it was all a scam . I know in his movies he always plays a part in them where he walks by.

My fav was in the hulk where lu ferigno (cant spell his name) the orginal hulk played the security gard at the lab and stan aproched him and they walked off the camera together talking about gamma radiation.

Shara - [jeanie54_2000@yahoo.com]

I liked last nights episode. It even mentioned the MMM (Merry Marvel Marching society). This is an old Stan Lee thing at the beginins of Marvel comics. I think Marvel may have a back hand in this or the author is just saluteing shows and comics such as all the Star Trek references and comic references. I did notice that the comic references are all Marvel, no DC.

The FX channel ran the pilot of Heros last night and with X-Men 3 coming out today, X-men was shown of one of the channels.

Starsinger

I kind of liked heros. Exept that it just reminded me way to much of the x-men. Hopefully the plotline will develop more tonight so that it doesnt resemble that comic. Otherwise I say shame to NBC for ripping ideas from someone else.

In other news, anybody ever calculated the approximate weight of the Cyberbiotics airforce 2 or its dimensions?

I think I calculated the approximate weight of all the robots on the robots on that airship. Assume the 3 types of humanoid robots on board weigh an average of 100 pounds apiece and there are 200 of those on board. 100 * 200 = 20,000 pounds of humanoid robots or 10 tons. If we assume the flying robots on board weigh between 50-75 pounds apiece and there are 1000 on board (I'm estimating 1000 based on them surrounding Oberon), that gives us between 22.5 and 37.5 additional tons of robots or a grand total of at least 33 tons of robots. Anybody work out the requirements of what kind of structure it would take to support 33-48 tons of robots without the floor giving out?

Hey, this gives us a topic to carry on after the room wipe.

Dezi, thanks for the heads up on the monday showing. I'm not always off work on friday evenings and I really liked the opening show.

I too liked Hiro and all the Star Trek references. Can we say 40th aniversary? The total contrast between his friends' conform at all costs attitude and Hiro's what's wrong with being unique and different? was good.

Starsinger

Starsinger: Heroes is also on NBC. They show the new ep first on NBC on Monday, then re-air it on SciFi on Friday. But yeah I liked how all the characters all tied together. And the Japanese dude, Hiro (which btw screwed up my boyfriend, he thought they were spelling HERO wrong in the subtitles) Hiro was so happy about his powers. WEEEE!

Has anyone caught some of the new offerings that came out this week?

CW has now put out the Legion of Superheros. SciFi has a new mutant offering Heros and of couse the new season of Dr. Who.

Anyone else have some must see shows?

I watched Legion the art is very Teen Titans. The basic stories go all the way back to the 1959 origins of the Legion, updated quite well, I thought.

Heros was interesting. It showed a group of people just finding out that they are 'special'. I think if they don't screw is up adding the cutsey kids, they will have a show as decent as the New Mutants of some years back.

Starsinger

How about seeing the "Council" in a comic form. All of them.

"Nocturne" is a Gargoyles story, not a Pendragon story.
Todd Jensen

Running in to say that the move is going well thus far, and that we should have internet over at the house within a few days.

Gotta get back to packing now, wheee...

Lynati

Illustrating a TGS story:
Dark Ages: I'd pick 'Wanderer' or 'Games Wizards Play'. Wanderer has the most movement and action. Games offers more tableux.

Timedancer: 'Deals & Exchanges' without a doubt. That was one living panel. Especially the fight between Harthoth and Brooklyn.

Pendragon: This one is a tougher call. Each season had a distinctive pitch. First season, I'd pick Dragon's Wrath. Second season, 'Nocturne'. Third, Iris, Lily and the Rose. Fourth, Mists of Eynhallow.

Main Cycle: I have a similar problem with the main cycle. Each has season had a different tone. Just enough to make each season different. I think the best stand alone is 'The Scottish Play'.

Like I said it is a tough call.

Taleweaver

TGS comics sound sweet! Still need to find a copy of the new canon gargoyles comic...

Lynati: I assumed that the Chinese gargs were killed in their stone sleep as a result of the communist takeover of China because Icarus brought it up during his conversation with Chiang Yun. This suggests that the humans killed the Chinese gargoyles thinking they were simply lifeless statues, or do I need to reread part II of The Council?

Dragomir

Shara: actually, I was hoping to talk with you some day about producing an as-yet unreleased story for TGS as a comic...but we don't have a specific one in mind, and thus no script for you to work off of at the moment. Todd: I'll re-read the story. If he still comes off to me as human, I'm going to stick with what the notes given to me about Vlad said- which is that he's a human servant.

Adam: you are not wrong, but that's hardly the whole story.

As the person who wrote the vampire story in question, I always thought of Ferguson (Vlad's manservant) as a vampire. (His name, incidentally, is a small in-joke; there's a Sherlock Holmes story entitled "The Adventure of the Sussex Vampire" in which Holmes was asked by a Mr. Robert Ferguson to investigate the possibility that his new wife was really a vampire - it turned out that she wasn't, which didn't surprise Holmes, who didn't believe in such things, saying "No ghosts need apply." There are a couple of other in-jokes in the story, such as the house that the vampires purchase and live in being named either "Varney House" or "Varney Hall" - it's been a while since I last read it - and I think that almost everyone here will get the bit about the man showing Vlad about the house at the beginning being named Harker.)
Todd Jensen

Dragomir has reminded me that I need to finish Timedancer at some point. Brooklyn's conversations with Demona in "Transitions" and "Contingencies" were interesting.

Shara: I think "Reprisals" would have potential as an iilustrated story. That's the only one I can think of right now.

Lynati: How did I know that would be the answer? Ah well, I was just being a smartass to a comment posted in Station 8, anyway. ( ;

I never said Brook fooled around after meeting Sata, he would never do something like that (sata would kill em, lol). But thanks for pointing that out Lynati, I just thought something was up because they kept bringing up their similar appearance again and again (even Mei-Hsing agrees). Can't wait to find out what Brook's message to her was...oh yeah, I think StarLioness is right, the Chinese Clan suffered heavy losses when the maoists took over China (gargs killed while they slept amongst temples and what not, horrible way to go...).
On another note, you really saw a red beaked female in the Bushido episode? Thats so cool! It never ceases to amaze as to how many cool new characters designs one can see if they just look close enough, like with the avalon gargs (the fish guy was cool)

Dragomir

an interesting thing I noticed in Bushido a week ago is that when Sora and the other Gargoyles surround Kai and the Travellers when he introduces them.. you can see a red beaked female in the background, I wonder if that was inspiration for Ariana? if not, just interested in seeing a female beaked Gargoyle *shrugs*
Starlioness - [starlion3@yahoo.com]

Lynati. On the Chinese clan not liking humans, I thought they kinda mentioned it during the Gargoyle's council. About the communist revolution and the gargoyle clan becoming unitended victums in the conflict. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Adam - [carl006_1999@yahoo.com]

Harvester: you have to ask our canadian TGS residents about that. *grin* (try Hazard Pay, I think they sold some there yesterday.)

Adam: the servant was human; a "Renfield" in much of today's vampire-related literature refers to a human servant of a vampire, named after the character who had that position in Stoker's "Dracula". That guy is a modern-day version.

Dragomir: Hate to disappoint you, but Brooklyn did not fool around with any chinese gargs, neither before nor after he became mates with Sata. And you have no idea what Mei Hsing's reasons are for not trusting humanity, they have not been shown or stated yet, so it would be a tad premature to judge her on that front.

Hey guys, finally finished season three! YEAH! Happy and sad all at once, can't wait til season four! What do you guys think of Chiang Yun and Mei-Hsing? I think Chiang is hot in that leather outfit of hers and I love her aloof attitude, and her clear love for battle (plus they kept hinting that she was somehow related to Brook, perhaps Brook spent some, erhm, alone time with the ladies back during his time dances in china, before he met sata of course). I thought Mei Hsing was a cold, heartless jerk, even Demona has better excuses for hating humans than her! But what do you guys all think of these two? Will they be trouble for Goliath in the next season? or will Chiang become an ally? mei is gonna be trouble, that's for certain.

I was wondering how many here have watched the show on SciFi called Eureka. It's a pretty neat show, about this average joe cop coming to work as sheriff in a town built for geniuses. Anyways, after watching nearly the entire season, I just figured out tonite, that Salli Richardson is one of the main female characters (she's kinda the on again, off again love interest of the sheriff.) Of course, since I figured it out early on in tonite's episode, it made the entire rest of the episode weird for me. She was trapped and I kept expecting Goliath to swoop down and rescue her.

What if one (or more) of these 'Shadow Women' were to show up? Or make themselves known? (Or even a teen girl who discovers she is one? Sharon and Sata would know what it is, but perhaps the person/people who have it don't know or understand that power? It's a wild idea... I always tend to go nowhere with that concept though. ><

On a totally, totally unrelated note . . .

Apparently one of my classmates in my ART 141 class (Beginning 3D Design) work(s/ed) in the restaurant of the Hyatt Valencia, where the Tenth Gathering was held. We had a project in which we were to bring in items of good design that maintained a function, were decorative, and expressed a sub-cultural abstraction. So of course I brought in my MIP Stone Armor Goliath SIGNED BY KEITH DAVID!

Guardian

How about Brian Cox to do the voice of Quade of the Caledonian clan and Laura Fraser as Brianna?
Adam - [carl006_1999@yahoo.com]

HARVESTER - Yes, I was wondering when you were going to post that (the Top Five, I mean). (Word of advice: I believe that it's a better idea to post it when you're ready and only mention your plans for the Top Five then, than to say "I'm going to post the Top Five here later" and then take weeks about it. There's a saying that you should give but not promise.)

Might make a nice change of pace for Alan Rickman to voice Braddock - who isn't either a villain or a guy creepy enough to be mistaken for a villain even if it turns out that he's not one.

Todd Jensen

I think that Christopher Plummer's portrial of General Chang was one of the best one time roles in all of Star Trek.
Adam - [carl006_1999@yahoo.com]

And I would just like to point out that the voices for two of the characters on that list (Duval and Morgana) were not originally my idea. I remember seeing them on the lists that Bishansky posted in here at some point, and I happened to agree with him that for those characters, the actors listed would be perfect.
Harvester of Eyes
"Face it: if crime didn't pay, there would be very few criminals."

Todd: Thanks for reminding me that I also need to get a Top Five for the series in here at some point.

Adam: As I said below, Malcolm Macdowell was in "Star Trek: Generations." Now that I think about it, Christopher Plummer actually had a part in "Star Trek VI," which is one of my favorites with the original cast. Which surprised me, considering that my interest in a franchise usually bottoms out after they pass a certain Roman Numeral (usually III). And as far as canon Gargoyles is concerned, "Star Trek VI" had David Warner and William Morgan Sheppard (yes, I am a gigantic movie geek. But there are worse things to be a geek in).

Harvester of Eyes
"Face it: if crime didn't pay, there would be very few criminals."

HARVESTER - Sorry about that; I read your first paragraph a little too quickly and misunderstood it.

So Malcolm wasn't the one who played Mordred in the musical "Camelot"; pity. (The musical did have a slight influence on "No Mercy", though. Back in around 1993, I attended a production of "Camelot" which had a particularly great scene in it where, after Lancelot's rescued Guinevere from being burnt at the stake, meaning that now Arthur's kingdom has been plunged into civil war and his aspirations are doomed, Mordred starts laughing in a very chilling way. That moment inspired the scene where he's giving out a peal of evil laughter in "No Mercy".)

Todd Jensen

It's my bad. I really didn't read all the way threw the post about Roddy having pasted on. I will try to be more carefull in the future.
Adam - [carl006_1999@yahoo.com]

Adam: I don't have a list. And if you are referring to Harvester's list, I think he was going for actors he felt could portray the characters well, not simply a continuation of a "running gag". And having more than once shown- and yesterday outright stated- an annoyance for offbase facts, I am wondering whether to credit your mislabeling of the list as a deliberate attempt to annoy me, or simple lack of paying attention on your part. Neither raises you in my estimation, and I'd kindly ask you to pay more attention and try to keep your facts straight. You only discredit yourself to do otherwise.

This isn't meant to be a flame bait; simply an expression of my current thoughts, cynical as they may be. When I am tired I tend to be more straightforward, which should not be confused as a malicious tone. Right now I am quite tired.

Lynati

Adam: Which was why Todd referred to him as the "late Roddy McDowall." ( ;
Harvester of Eyes
"Face it: if crime didn't pay, there would be very few criminals."

According to imdb.com, Roddy Mcdowell died in 1998 of lung cancer and he was the voice of Proteus.
Adam - [carl006_1999@yahoo.com]

Todd: What I meant was that it was in "The Cage" that Talon said he had his own clan, which is what I was basing my assumption of off that the Labyrinth Clan is its own clan apart from the Manhattan gargoyles. Lynati seemed to be regarding the clones as their own clan, when I thought they were part of Talon's. That's probably where the confusion sprang from.

And I just checked ibdb. It loooks like it was Roddy McDowall who played Mordred in the production that started running in 1960. Malcolm Macdowell was in "A Clockwork Orange" and "Star Trek: Generations," among other things (so there actually is yet another Star Trek parallel). It looks like he was also R'as Al'Ghul's son in an episode of Batman: TAS

Harvester of Eyes
"The sands of time were eroded by the river of constant change."

HARVESTER - Actually, the episode where Talon took the Clones in was "The Reckoning" rather than "The Cage".

Thanks for the list - I should have known that you'd draw some inspiration from "Excalibur" for the casting. (You also listed Malcolm McDowell for the voice of Mordred - I believe that he played the part of Mordred in the original stage production of "Camelot", unless I'm confusing him with the late Roddy McDowell who did the voices of Proteus, the Mad Hatter, and Snowball.)

Todd Jensen

Lynati, on your list, you don't have enough Star Trek actors for the characters.
Adam - [carl006_1999@yahoo.com]

Lynati: <Nifty list. I wish I recognized more of the names on it, but I am notoriously bad with knowing actors.>

Praise be to imdb!

Harvester of Eyes
"The sands of time were eroded by the river of constant change."

Lynati. I agree with you. Besides, I never really liked the idea of the Loch Ness clan. And Greg has also changed the hatch date of the Avalon clan a couple of times.
Adam - [carl006_1999@yahoo.com]

Harvester of Eyes: Nifty list. I wish I recognized more of the names on it, but I am notoriously bad with knowing actors.

Adam: Fair enough, but you *said* "And there were only 10 clans at the end of the tv series." The information you are referring to came well after the show ended. I tend to be very literal-minded, and I will nit-pick a detail if it jumps out at me as being inaccurate. ^_^

On a related note, some people do not consider anything to be "canon" until it is out in episode, either on TV or the comic book, since Greg Weisman has said that some details may be subject to change between when he talked about them and when/if they become part of the published story. His original version of Timedancer and 2158 have changed; Brooklyn will no longer return to Manhattan with a mate and two children, it'll be a mate, a kid, and an unhatched egg. 2158 became 2198. etc. Greg's word isn't law, not even to himself.

Lynati

Lynati: And the clones became part of the Labyrinth clan, which I think is its own clan. Or that's what I got from what Talon said at the end of "The Cage."

And now for something completely different:

This has been a long time coming. I know I said a LONG while ago that eventually I'd come up with a revised list for character voices in "Pendragon." For some of these, I did like the voices Greg B. had in mind, so I went with those (for example, I agree that Patrick Stewart would be perfect for Duval). But anyway, here it is:

Adult Merlin: Nicol Williamson
Michael: Neil Dickson
Brock: Norman Lloyd
Colin Marter: Tom Wilkinson
Dulcinea: Salma Hayek
Leba: Jennifer Saunders
Duval: Patrick Stewart
Giles: Christopher Guest
William Powell: Gabriel Byrne
Andrew Singleton: Charles Dance
Nigel Sefton: Jason Isaacs
Robert Braddock: Alan Rickman
Sergeant Winslow: David Thewlis
Quetzalcoatl/Thomas Quince: Edward James Olmos.
Darien Montrose: Mark Addy
Lucius Adrians: Christopher Lee
Eddie: Jason Statham
The White Knight: Ian Holm
Bercilak: Christopher Plummer
Tanaburs: Pete Postlethwaite
Avallach: Terence Stamp
Morgana: Helen Mirren
Mordred: Malcolm Macdowell

Harvester of Eyes
"The sands of time were eroded by the river of constant change."

Lynati, what I said 10 clans, I was also refuring to info supplied by Ask Greg at Station 8. I had asked a question there years ago about how many clans are in existance at the end of the series and he listed them for everyone to read.
Adam - [carl006_1999@yahoo.com]

Adam: I believe you are right in that twelve clans is what Madoc said the Unseelie Court had found. However, Madoc did not list the clans, and he may have been counting them differently than you are.

There were fewer than 10 clans at the end of the TV series; when the show ended we had only seen Manhattan, Avalon, London, Guatemala, Ishimura, and the clones.

Lynati

But the clans for TGS are slightly different than the clans for Greg's master plan. According to the master plan, there are clans in Korea and Loch Ness, but these two clans have yet to be introduced in TGS. And there were only 10 clans at the end of the tv series. TGS has added different clans in Persia, the Caledonian forest and Antarctica. A slight difference, but different none the less.
Adam - [carl006_1999@yahoo.com]

Unless they're in the south.
Harvester of Eyes
"The sands of time were eroded by the river of constant change."

Vinnie: So if they're not keen on protecting, then I guess they don't have any sort of nuclear development going on.
Harvester of Eyes
"The sands of time were eroded by the river of constant change."

According to Ask Greg the final clan is the Pukan clan in Korea. However they are a strange clan sense they're less interested in protecting then they are in Justice.
Egon Pax
Peace!

Adam: I'm pretty sure the twelfth clan was the Tito Clan. That, or Billy Shears.
Harvester of Eyes
"The sands of time were eroded by the river of constant change."

Lynati. I found something that may need resolution for future seasons. In the Darkest Hour Park 1, Madoc says that there is 12 gargoyle clans in the world, yet only 11 have been mentioned. They follow as:
1. Manhattan
2. Labyrinth(although Madoc believed them to be destroyed)
3. London
4. Caledonian
5. Guatemalian
6. Persian
7. Ishimura
8. Antarctic
9. Chinese
10. New Olympus
11. Avalon

Please correct me if I am wrong, but I think I got it right. Do you plan on adding a new clan or two. Because I think that would be sweet.

Adam - [carl006_1999@yahoo.com]

Twigess: Aye. We're making an effort to wrap up previously-dangling plot threads in seasons 4 and 5...where they can easily be included in the actual plot of a story/arc.

We have a list collecting them, so if there is anything else that you think needs resolution, feel free to mention it here. We may have already accounted for it in some matter, or chosen not to deal with it, but then we might have missed it entirely.

Lynati -- I'll ask about the TGS Italian translations. I got the feeling that she's written her own fanfics so I was going to steer her towards gargs-fans anyway.

At one point, Guandalug had suggested an independent TGS archive for stuff like my Tengu stories and other TGS-based stories. Did that ever get set up?

Spike

I really, _REALLY_ liked watching the Crocodile Hunter Diaries on Animal Planet. I liked Steve Irwin, he was cool. I shall miss him. :(

Guardian

Spike: Wow, that's pretty nifty.

But is she asking for a place to host her Italian translations, or original stories set in the TGS universe? (Or both?)

TGS would be fine with hosting the translations, but if there is fanfic... I don't know, has anyone ever bandied about the thought of having a "AU TGS stories" page as part of the website, or even just a links page including people who have written work set in their version of the TGS universe?

For the moment, if she *has* done fanfic, there's always the GFA.

What would you like me to tell her? I thought I'd get your input before I responded.

Thanks!

Jason Canmore is the oldest of the Canmore siblings. The one who led them all, then Elisa helped show him he was wrong. He was a strong man, strong in his prejudice, and strong enough to admit he was wrong and change. He and Elisa almost had a thing. They did kiss.

Jon was his weak willed younger brother who went nuts and became John Castaway, the leader of the Quarrymen.

But Canmore? Elisa would seriously consider a date with a Canmore? Isn't Jason our Quarrymen dude? Or am I once again inadvertantly showing just _HOW_ long it has been since I've read either TGS or caught up on the original series?
